Love this place and their new location is awesome. They have a lot of both regular distilled spirits such as vodka, rum, whiskey and gin (ok thats kinda flavored), but where they really stand out is the flavored stuff. Theyre very well known for their sweet tea vodka (original) and whiskey, but our favorites of the day was the lemonade vodka and pecan/chocolate flavored moonshine. I also really liked their blended whiskey. They have a great tasting area and sell some unique cocktails if youre interested. Finally they have an enormous outside seating area and event area with nice stage. Oh yeah cant forget they have Popcorn Suttons still for anyone that watches the moonshiners.

The tasting was fun and prices were awesome! Highly recommend folks to do the tasting. Don’t be afraid to ask to try other flavors. Probably never would have come if I never met the brother of the owner, wife and I are happy we took his advice to check it out! Stop by this distillery, you will enjoy it!

Firefly is a unique and hidden gem! The building is gorgeous, the staff are friendly and knowledgeable, the land is beautiful and large enough for concerts, weddings, and simply a great place to spend some time. The gift shop has plenty of quality items to choose from. They provide a self-guided tour. Their pricing is quite reasonable. We wished we had known about them, but it was a great way to end our trip. We will definitely return when we are back in this area.

Great gift shop and plenty of room on the grounds outside for activities. So unbelievably many choices of great South Carolina Liquor. I highly suggest getting a tasting it is roughly 30 mins long. Come with an open palate and open mind. You wont regret it.

Great distillery! The space inside and outside makes for a great atmosphere. I could see myself bringing chairs and a blanket and spending the day at the distillery. Would definitely visit again. Also, our tasting guide had a lot of energy and was funny. He was great!

Firefly Distillery was a wonderful experience. We did a tasting with a great host (an English teacher) and she was wonderful. Ill be back with friends for this great experience again and we want the same host.

I love Firefly!! I went to the old location many times. We did a self-guided tour and then a tasting in their HUGE tasting room. The employees were welcoming, the drinks were great and we were able to enjoy sitting outside while the sun set. A MUST GO for locals and anyone visiting!

Love this place, but miss the Wadmalaw locale. Miss the Arnold Palmer mixer also. It was a party in a bottle.

Very beautiful and for the price, completely worth it! I love that it is a family owned business. The self tour was great, but the tasting of the alcohol completely tops it off! The alcohol was amazing! So delicious and so amazing and I love that there were different favors, different liquors. Definitely random visiting!

We randomly chose this distillery and were not disappointed. Everyone was super nice and accommodating. Very knowledgeable and fun. I’m from out of state and will definitely recommend the Firefly Distillery to anyone traveling there. Forgot to mention, the products were delicious!!!

We had a great time here! The taste tour was great, the guides had great energy and we thoroughly enjoyed each tasting. My husband and I would choose alternate tastings so we were able to taste everything. Our favorites were of course the lemonade also the sweet tea vodka. The food truck was expensive (imo) but to be honest it was probably the best street taco Ive ever had! We left with cupboard full of bottles 😊

Great place with occasional concerts and tastings

Tasting flight was a wonderful start($10 that includes 7 samples and a logo shot glass). Then an $8 cocktail from the bar on the opposite side of the tasting room. Got to walk around with my drink while we looked around the gift shop and watched a bit of the employees putting the finishing touches on bottles of the lemonade vodka. Bought 2 bottles of their Java Rum(coffee flavored of course and $20 each) which I cant wait to make a White Russian out of or just on the rocks! Such a wonderful place with the most friendly staff! I would give them more stars if I could!

Awesome place, go during an event when its busy and youll truly enjoy yourself. The tastings are inexpensive and you get to kind of choose what you want to taste test. If you like liquor def a place to check out.

I was here with a bachelorette party. We did the tasting, which was informative, entertaining, and tasty. The cocktails are great, and the environment is fun. Also great to purchase bottles that cant typically be purchased elsewhere (like the Firefly lemonade--so good!).

Firefly is one of my absolute favorite places to visit. The property is absolutely stunning, the facilities are clean and they have the best mixed drinks in town.

We had such a great experience during this tasting ! Everything was absolutely delicious and we are bummed we only had carry-ons because we wanted to take a lot home with us! Erin and Kaye were so nice in the giftshop and helped us with any questions we had. I would love to go back!

We decided at the last minute to go. We only had to wait 30 minutes for a tasting. Unfortunately they put us in an area where there was a very loud group next to us that was not doing a tasting and it was very hard to hear the person giving us the information. Enjoyed the many options. They also had a nice bar with drink specials. I recommend going here for a tasting if you can get a quieter area.

Had the best time today. Got to sample any different liquors. Sweet tea vodka, Bourbon, rum, and flavor liquors as well. They have a little shop if you want to purchase and take home. My favorite was the banana pudding liquor. So good!

We decided to try this place during our visit in Charleston. So many liquor options.. its hard to choose which was my favorite. Liquor tasting available at $10/per person which includes a really cool sturdy shot glass. Lots of seating available as well as grassy area to lay out on a blanket with friends and family. They are known for their sweet tea vodka so dont miss the chance to try it out as you will not be disappointed! We had a great time!

We had a great time. We did a tasting which was great. My husband and I both tasted so we got to taste all the flavors! We ate at FLIGHT food truck and the food was amazing! Topped the day off with cocktails and music on the lawn. Loved it!

Firefly Distillery is a great concert venue from atmosphere to drinks and service. Staff is very attentive and helpful. Their gift shop that has something for everyone even your four-legged family members. Love their concerts and fresh brewed products.

This was a great experience! While they werent doing the tours of the distillery, they still did the tastings. Im an alcohol aficionado. Ive never had spirits this good. The lemonade vodka and the mix of apple pie and caramel moonshine were my favorites. They also had live music and food trucks. Id definitely recommend this being on the itinerary if youre in the Myrtle Beach or Charleston area.

Great location. Went for Whos Bad, Michael Jackson tribute band. Had safe spaces set up with only groups of 4. Good for and drink options. Clean restrooms.

Our group had such a great time here. The staff were super nice and the tasting room is awesome. So many different types of vodka and whiskey to choose from. I really enjoyed their straight bourbon; very smooth and a great price.

Beware of going to this venue for their music events. Their website, Facebook and Instagram pages, and posts they make anywhere else, clearly state that a Fully vaccinated Covid 19 vaccination card or Covid 19 test is what is needed to enter their (outdoor) venue. This is untrue. my family and I all had up to date vaccine cards and were not permitted to enter the show on October 1st, because they said the last dose of our vaccine had to be administered at least 14 days before the event-two of us were not vaccinated to their standard. It would have been nice to know that this was their policy before we tried to attend the show and could have gotten a Covid test before showing up, and wasting a few hundred dollars. Ticketmaster is not gonna refund us for something that is entirely Firefly Distilleries fault.They even went as far as to blame the bands for this “last minute rule”..the staff we dealt with were rude and ill informed of what were the “rules”..having 3 different people give you an answer (all of them different) is unacceptable. My family and i are very disappointed and will never attend another event there…if i could give this dump some negative stars, i would

Such a cool spot. The new location looks amazing and everyone is so nice. Mikell and Sara were amazing in pointing us in the right direction and giving us recommendations. Our bartender Nick was so friendly and helpful. We had a great time doing the tasting and having cocktails. They’re dog friendly too which was a huge plus for us. They had a food truck today when we went which was awesome. Great overall experience.

This place is beautiful inside and out! There was a lot of planning that went in to this place and it shows. Its such an upgrade from their Wadmalaw location and much nicer now that its in town. Its definitely worth the tour and tasting. They even have event space for rent-- my bestie had her rehearsal dinner here! If you like Firefly, you will want to follow them on Facebook to keep up with the many concerts and festivals they host out here. I went today for the last of their food truck brunch festival and there was plenty of seating, although it seemed everyone was on the lookout for the shaded spots (there are a few sun shades but arrive early to snag a spot under one).

A great place to hangout with friends. Entrace is a little hard to find so keep your eyes open when driving down the road for the gate. Two types of tasting options including liquor and wine. Plenty of places to sit and relax. Come early because the lines get long. There is no real tour of the distillery just tasting rooms. You can walk around the vineyard and check out a variety of farm animals that they have. An interesting place to check out and popular with bridal showers.

Great place, very clean large parking lot. The sampling is amazing with the bartender having knowledge of the product and being able to recommend you drinks. We ended up buying 5 bottles and wish we had more. We came all the way from North Georgia and will definitely be coming back.

Came here November 23 with a large group of coworkers and I had an amazing time! The Firefly is amazing distillery with wine, whiskey, and moonshine tastings with food trucks on the premises as well. I paid for the wine and whiskey tastings and it did not disappoint. We were able to keep our tasting glasses which was a plus! I ended up buying 3 bottles (2 Sweet Tea Whiskey and the Blueberry Moonshine) plus a bottle of wine (Symphony). For lunch I ordered the fried shrimp and fish and it was good as well. The weather was nice..drinks and food good. This is definitely a place to add to your list of visits!

I love the different flavors of moonshine. Especially the strawberry and apple pie. But just be warned that this is not extremely strong as you think. Theyre 20-30% alcohol/vol. So dont expect anything stronger. They also have moonshine jelly. I havent tasted it yet but Im definitely trying it when I get home. I havent tasted it, but they also have whiskey, bourbon and flavored liqueur for sale. I recommend trying them out.

A hidden, backwoods gem outside of Charleston. This was a pretty fun day activity where you can try all of Fireflys different concoctions (who knew they had so many!)The staff is super friendly and its really cheap for a 6 different tastings.

A wonderful scenic local Distillery in the tidelands of Charleston, SC. Located approximately 30 minutes South of West Ashley you can visit Firefly Distillery and enjoy a $6 tasting of several local spirits ranging from the famous Firefly Ice-T to straight up moonshine and bourbon. Outside of The Distillery the grounds are wonderful and offer a small petting zoo, out door kitchen and on our visit local food vendors. They also have local music throughout the year and its highly suggested you visit the website before you visit.On our visit it was surprising to find that the spirits we found best were not available in stores but only at the distillery; it ended up being an expensive visit! I highly suggest that you plan this visit by including the local Winery, Tea Plantation, historical oak tree, and several other local sites to make the most of the trip.

Great potential with lots of space and decent parking available. The venue area needs more bathroom access and better drink and food selections.

I have never been to this place but I live near it. It is awful that the music is so loud, the neighborhood can hear it in their homes, every bass, flute, saxophone, alto,tenor,flute, harmonica, b flat.....😅. It says on the site that its closed today....its wide open with all the noise we can take.. The only good thing about it, at 10pm they have to tone down.

I love Firefly, between the food trucks, the spirits and the hospitality of everyone. One of my absolute favorite places in the Charleston area to visit. I always get an Arnold Palmer with sweet tea whiskey. I very much enjoy the bourbon, and both varieties of whiskey. All the Moonshine has a great taste to it. I recommend the tasting and some drinks to enjoy with friends and family.

Great atmosphere, really nice staff, and fantastic prices. Their new location is very spacious and gives you the feel like you’re inside an aging barrel. Really love coming here every time we’re in town to restock our liquor cabinet with their stuff. Don’t miss coming here whenever you’re in town. Also, doing a tasting is a great family activity!

I had been here 1 year ago and had a wonderful experience, with covid 19 guidelines being enforced. Today none of the covid 19 guidelines were being observed (masks and social distancing) and the employees saw no issue with customers not wearing a mask and the tastings were shoulder to shoulder in the tasting rooms. The company website states face coverings and social distancing are required to enter. Anyone concerned about contracting this devastating illness should not visit at this time. 900+ new cases reported on 4/23/21. Be safe out there!!

Awesome place. After the tour and tasting, I wanted a certain cocktail that they weren’t as familiar with making but they got together all the ingredients and were able to make it for me. Turned out to be the best cocktail I’ve ever had. Amazing customer service. Wish we lived in the area so we could go back! We’d be regular customers.

Went here with a bachelorette party and had a fabulous time! We had reservations for both tastings which certainly cut down on wait times. The atmosphere is great with a friendly staff, live music and food carts. The liquors were delicious and our pourer Bert the flirt (he earned this nickname) was hilarious. I will have to say that the wines are mediocre but this probably is due to the region they are growing in. But this did not hinder the experience. I would highly recommend this to any friends visiting the Charleston area!

I live locally and always wanted to visit this place. The drive to the old location made it impractical. Finally made the time this week and I’m glad I did. We took the sample tour and had a great time. The guide was super friendly and informative. Afterwards we stopped at the on site bar and had a yummy cocktail. I can’t recommend a favorite because I enjoyed everything!

Nice products. The distillery and winery are tastings only, no actually facility tours. Enjoyed sampling the spirits and the walking the scenic grounds, but would have loved to have an actual look at where its produced. The lines were quite long around early afternoon. Taste testing is so fun!!!! Shot glass included! Already enjoy Firefly Sweet Tea Vodka. Introduced to Apple Pie Moonshine and Bourbon Ball, among others. Both delicious! Wish the entire Firefly line was more available in the Philly PA area. Hope my next trip to SC will allow me to enjoy the Bourbon Ball again! Nice gift shop! New location from years ago.

I went here today for the first time for a Red Cross blood drive. What an impressive venue! Cant wait to come back and enjoy a concert and some beverages when I build my red cells back up, Haha!

What a fabulous distillery- I did a tasting, they also serve cocktails too. We rescued a bottle of coconut cake rum liqueur- delish! But there were several I loved! The sweet tea bourbon- thats right- bourbon! They also have that original sweet tea vodka too! Their swag shop is extensive! I wish I had time to do the tour (but I do know how its made thanks to other distillery tours). We might be popping back in before our trip is up- its that good!
