Very very poor customer service! The owner is extremely hateful and rude.No customer relations. Shelves not consistent with supplies most locals use.Indian store in a predominantly Southern American demographics.Honestly most of us need a corner store in our neighborhood, with southern hospitality. I wish he would move so we could have that!

Best spices and herbs you can find

A good store for Indian grocery. May not find too many variety but always get the basic essentials. The rates are cheaper compared to other stores in the area. Please be careful to check the expiry dates on items. At one time I had bought an expired snack item. But the owners were nice to refund me full price in my next visit when I showed them the receipt and the item.

If youre expecting southern hospitality and friendliness just because its in charleston youre not gonna be happy. If you dont give a rip about the facade though youll be ok. I loved the store, its awesome for how small of a shop it is.

We told the old man at the counter that we had just moved to the Charleston area and were stopping by to check the store out. He did not even look up from his phone or even acknowledge that we were talking to him. We walked around any way and I was horrified at the condition of the products surrounded by junk in the back of the store! We also stopped by Bombay Bazaar earlier and they were so friendly and helpful. This store will definitely be a last resort!

Much cleaner now after the remodeling. Prices are good especially spices. Limited inventory but it a small store.

Owner is rude and illegally makes you spend a dollar limit if you are using a debit card! If you are looking to buy something $2.50 he wont sell it to you unless its $4; it was $3. He just lost my business for refusing to sell me a $1 lighter after I just spent $15 dollars in his store and I forgot to purchase it!! Very rude!

Owner is extremely rude. I came in 30 minutes before the posted closing time to get tahini and cardamom. I was having a difficult time finding it as the store is very disorganized and 5 minutes after entering, he yelled “I am closed!” and gave me a nasty look until I left. Will never be coming here again.

Convenient location. Horrible parking. Probably been there 10 times and the guy at the counter has never greeted me, told me my total (just expects you to read the screen), or said thank you.

I had one of the worst experiences ever! The old Indian man was rude and told me that he was not going to speak to me. The shelves were dusty and dirty with a lot of products that appeared to have been on the shelf for a long time. Apparently he doesnt care about whether or not he has any business. Please shop somewhere else and not with this awful old man!
