My garage doors were operating very wonky, from 14 years of lack of maintenance. A friend recommended that I call D & D. Dave with D & D came out, was extremely courteous, and fixed everything perfectly at a very fair price. Dave was great. He went above and beyond to make us happy customers.These doors havent operated this smoothly since they were new!! Based on my experience, I wouldnt hesitate to recommend this company to anyone in need of garage door maintenance orrepairs. Very satisfied.

I want to give a big shout out to Denis Iraheta, one of the technicians at D&D Garage Doors. Denis is an extremely professional, knowledgeable and responsive individual. He was here earlier this week to diagnose a broken spring on our garage door. Our decision to upgrade to another type of spring caused several issues with both Customer Service and the Parts department of D&D. In spite of those issues, Denis arrived on time this morning and had everything completed within an hour. While we have always had good service from D&D, we feel that Denis really went above and beyond to help us, in spite of the inventory shortages being experienced at D&D and everywhere else. Really hope that D&D keeps people like Denis...great employees are hard to find. Having owned small businesses, we can definitely attest to that.

Besides the ordering time frame that it now takes to receive doors from original order date due to flu season @ 🇨🇳D&D has been great to work with they’ve got the best customer service in the area, scheduling is a breeze, techs are always on time.I recently was going for my final CO inspection. First thing that morning, garage door wouldn’t open. I called D&D right away and David had a tech on-site in 20 minutes diagnosing and fixing issue. Avoiding a disaster, ended up passing my final inspection, customer moved in following day.In new construction, it takes time to weed out the subs that actually cares about there craft along with customer service and when you finally find one you are thankful. That said, I deal with a lot of people through each sub-contractor and thats where D&D absolutely shines with “Amber Fuoco”. I can honestly say out of all the different subs I deal with. She’s one of the most dependable that Ive had the pleasure to work with. She’s on the ball, a real perfectionist. I never have to take time out of my day to follow up with her cause I know she’ll get back to me with an update, once shes received the answers. Which. Makes. My. Life. &. Job. So. Much. Easier!! I called for service several days in advance on my garages door, was given a time between 12 pm and 4pm a couple of days later. No one called or showed up between this time. I called them and the lady in the office called the tech. She stated to me he would be at my house in about 40 minutes. This was unacceptable to me, so I canceled the service. Will not use them again! All they had to do was call and stated he was running late.

I called them before driving to their store front for a seal for the bottom of the garage door. They told me they have them and to come in. Well when I got there they told me they couldn’t do anything for me. A company that has their customer go out of there way and then tell them they can’t be helped is unacceptable.

Waited two weeks for appointment, waited at the site in the car for two hours, appointment was between 1 and 3pm. Called them after two hours and they just said, well it will be another hour! 86 degrees! Typical Florida service, no communication with the customer. Use them if you have to but I don’t recommend them.

Great tech, Denis, was here for an hour this morning insulating our garage door. He was terrific, quick, tidy and courteous! Highly recommend.

The serviceman came out to my house fixed my garage door opener, I paid him and that was that. The service was very good and friendly and I havent had a problem since. Definitely recommend D & D Garage Doors.

If I could give this company less than 1 star I would.We have a home in Marina Bay Fort Myers. This company installed all the doors and openers for over 900 homes. We are snowbirds so we have only actually lived in the house 5 months but the house is 18 months old. We just arrived back to Florida to find our opener not working. We called D&D for an appointment and they “lost” our appointment. So we called the manufacturer who told us we had a 2 year warranty on the opener. But D&D refused to acknowledge this warranty and told us we’d have to pay them for a replacement. And they couldn’t schedule us for at least another week. I posted this on our community FB page only to learn that several of our neighbors have issues with D&D as well. Most said they’d never call them again. Horrible customer service.

Scary moments driving up Collier blvd this morning when I was behind a driver for D&D. The driver was swerving across lanes and even drove up the curb at one point. At a stop light, he ended up being half way in the lane beside him. Maybe the drivers should learn to stay off the phones while driving before the injure someone.

Go somewhere else. Had an appointment scheduled today from 12-4, so arranged my day around that. No one showed. When I called, I was on hold for 10+ minutes, spoke to 3 different people, and was finally told they didnt have any record of my appointment. Terrible customer service.

One of our garage doors get stuck at our warehouse in Ft Myers, FL. We called around and D & D was the only company that said they could come within 3 hours. Their two techs showed up, fixed our door and the price was half the other companies quoted us. Thank you for your GREAT service

Ordered 3 doors 4 months ago, they installed 2 a month ago. The sales rep said they would install my openers included in the pricing. They want me to pay for all three doors and pay additional money for insulation of the openers. NO idea when they will have the 3rd door.( standard door, not a special order). Pay for something they have not delivered (SHADY)

I think weve used D&D Garage Doors for about 8 years now. Always 5 star service. Always show up either on time or early and always able to fix the issues weve had with many homes. New installs no problem. Fix a spring (like today) .. simple. The technician even made suggestions to help us save money next time.

Hard to fathom the lack of gold stars from some respondents. D&D came through for me fast and fair and way ahead of competitors estimates on replacement of a 20 yr old panel that had left my door closed and inoperable.

2/27Called D&D Garage told them I had brought a new opener and asked if they would install the new unit and take out the old they immediately they said yes they offered a fair price and had an employee in my driveway two hours later. The techs name was Dave he was super friendly and jumped right into my problem Dave was super amazing he put together my new opener and had my old one removed in no time it was clear to me early on Dave was very well trained and extremely efficient and cleaned up everything whenhe was done. It was very easy to setup an appointment and the technician showed up at the beginning of the time period set for the appointment. He fixed the problem completely on the first visit. The office and on-site technician were very polite and very professional. I have used them in the past and have always been completely satisfied with the quality of the work and the price.

The rear roll up door on my box truck was rotted out so I ordered a new one and called D&D and talked to Jose about getting my new door installed. He has excellent customer service he called me several times to keep me updated on the repair and did quality work in a timely manner! If youre in the market for a new door are looking for quality work I highly recommend them!

As a veteran I was referred to D&D Garage Doors by Handy Vets in Cape Coral. When I call they let me know that they would have a technician out next day between 1:00 & 3:00 pm.The technician Freddy showed up exactly on time and was organized and prepared for the job. Great experience for me, I would recommend D&D Garage Doors for the punctuality and workmanship and will continue to use them for preventive maintenance.

D&D Garage Door installed the door on our first home in 1991, replaced with an upgraded door just before Hurricane Charlie and did the installation on our next home in 2005. Due to someone running into our door recently we opted to do an upgrade. We had a Clopay 4300w6 and jackshaftdrive opener installed last month. I cant believe how quiet it is! Definitely worth the money! Excellent and professional service!

I went in person to this place about 3 weeks ago looking for an estimate on my double garage doors, spoke to the lady at front office, she told me someone will go to my home and give me the estimate, no one ever showed up.

D&D has worked on our garage door when we had a problem years passed. I called them yesterday and explained that the garage door didnt work again and that I needed to schedule service. The ladies that answered the phone were so kind. Instead of just immediately scheduling a service call they offered advice as to how to check out some frequently encountered problems. Theytold me to clean the lenses on the senors. I did and it still didnt work so we scheduled a call.When I got home today I took another look at the sensors and discovered that one wire had been dislodged from a contact point. I plugged it back in and it worked fine! I called and left a message to cancel the service call which was scheduled for tomorrow.I just wanted to thank the staff for being kind enough to try and help me solve the issue myself. Most places wouldnt care enough to do that. They would just take advantage of people at every chance. Thank you D&D Doors! Henry Coggins

Scheduled an appointment (my wife home with little kids) and D&D never showed up? No call, no show, I had to call at the end of the day and was given the “scheduling software update” excuse? They came out the next day and installed our new opener, it works great!However there was never any apology for the missed appointment or any attempt to make it right, just install and here’s your bill.D&D dropped the ball on their customer service big Time!

Absolutely horrible, I would Not recommend them, they were supposed to install two doors, they installed one but sometimes it would refuse to close (because they put the sensors in the wrong place) and they didnt finish the second door, which was my main door, they came back FOUR MONTHS LATER TO FINISH IT. EVEN THOUGH I WAS CALLING THEM EVERY DAY! And lets not forget, most of the employees were just standing around doing nothing. DO NOT USE D & D GARAGE DOORS

D&D installed our commercial overhead doors years ago. One of them is inoperable now and I have been calling since before Christmas. I have been promised (after not getting a return phone call for over a week) that a technician would be out 3 times and all 3 times he was a no show. Now I find out that he lives in Lehigh (we are in Lehigh) so they want to schedule him at the end of the day so he can go home from here. Why cant we be his first stop in the morning? Where he lives is not my concern... getting this door fixed is! I finally told them this morning to forget it and I would call someone else, which I did. The company I called will have someone out today by lunch time. THAT is how you handle a situation and treat a customer. I have never been given such a runaround and bs answers.
