I am a young professional with a modest income. My wife and I share a 2004 Pontiac Vibe, which we love, but often needs repairs. We recently moved to Sanibel Island and needed some muffler work done. We werent looking for new parts and replacements we didnt need - just simple, effective solutions to some holes in the exhaust pipe. We were lucky to stumble across Wayne. What an amazing guy. The kind, classic type that is willing to show you the problems, talk you through them, do a solid job fixing what needs repair, and then charging you a fair amount for it. I stopped down to see if I could get a catalytic converter installed. I first was told no. Then he was insulted that a already had a new one to be installed. Then I asked how much for him to do the install with his catalytic converter. He said $350. WOW. I asked how much for a total exhaust to be put in. He said thousands. Wow.Btw, no vehicles in the lot. He was polishing his camper.He said nobody will put it in if I already purchased a new converter. I guess people cannot even help another out in need. Oh, I wasn’t asking for a discount just if he could install the brand new catalytic converter.I am shocked.

Simply put the best auto repair experience I have had. Local guy with a small shop who is honest and thorough. I has a catalytic converter replaced on my 01 cadillac. It was done on time and then when it was time to pay him he said since he got a higher amount for the old converter than he thought and he would discount the difference which saved me over 25% of the bill. No other shop would have done that. Thanks or the great service.

He is one of those older guys who loves cars .. and good at what he does... semi-retired.... and if you make an appointment is always there.... my son wanted a muffler delete for his first car.... so it sounds cool... cause girls dig cool cars mom... lol... Wayne understood this.... and my son is so happy.... just gotta remember what its like to be 16 again... highly recommend... if your looking for a personal custom touch to your vehicle...

Just got off the phone with him. He answered and I said Hey there Im buying a new car and Im looking to have the exhaust replaced in it. Its a 2017 Ford Focus ST and the muffler comes with everything you need. Plug and play. No modifications no customizations required.He replies with okay you come in and tell me what you wanna spend and Ill tell you what Im gonna charge you. I say will you charge me by the hour? He says maybe. I said what do you mean maybe? Its a muffler. You simply remove the old muffler and put the new one in. He says his crystal ball is broken and hell decide what price to charge me.He replies with, some cars take 30 minutes and some cars take 4 hours. I said okay then that means youll be charging me BY THE HOUR? And he said nope. Okay dude.He was rude as hell and I hung up on him. OBVIOUSLY he has something to hide and OBVIOUSLY if my car took 30 minutes to replace the muffler he would charge me for 3 hours. Go out of business you snake. Do us all a favor.
