Another awesome little bookstore we found on vacation. The woman was awesome at telling us the good places to eat in town. I think you can always get good information out of the bookstores they just seem to be very knowledgeable. We ended up buying three books there and just had a delightful time. She had a lot of good books on sale and she was very helpful at finding the books that we were looking for she had some interesting books I have not seen at other bookstores either which we ended up buying one which was a little French book.

Love this store! Always have something Im looking for at great prices. If not, theyll order it for me. The people are always very pleasant and helpful.

I love this place! It’s small but wonderful. I have been going for years and I still walk out with a book in hand. The people who work there are very nice and helpful. They are always willing to talk to you about their book selections! You can give books back for credit or cash. Cash is half the credit option. I wish there was a seating area here too!

You will fall in love with The Book Outlet. It’s one of a kind. My wife and I came in within ten minutes of the store closing, and we received excellent service. The price, quality and selection was great. Attentive enough to see my wife was having trouble finding a book, which was then offered for the book to be ordered for her. A true book store is rare and this is it!

Quaint, clean and a good selection of books. More new books than used. Plenty of new books on sale. I wished I had waited on a book I had just ordered from Amazon because I found it here on sale! Bummer. Sales associate, owner (?), was polite. Well stocked childrens section.Update: May, 2020; the Book Outlet has shut down permanently. I dont know if it was because of the pandemic and State government restrictions. It will be missed. The small plaza is slowly emptying out.

Our favorite bookstore! The best part of vacation is a trip here. Minutes from the beach you can buy something to read for your vacation or stock up for the year ahead. Every book is 20% off retail price, or much cheaper for those books which have been out for a while. They have large bins of books a that are only 99 cents. You can sell books youve read back to the store so they dont pile up at home when youre done. If you save your receipts, once youve spent $100 they hive you a discount. The proprietors are super nice and helpful and we look forward to seeing them again every year.

Absolutely adore this book store! The staff is amazing, if you dont see what youre looking for ask and they will order it or give you great recommendations of what they have in stock that you would like! Marshall the owner is a sweetheart and remembers me everytime I come in.

Love this place! We stop by once a year on our way up to Laconia and I always find tons of books to stock up on. The owner is great, and the books are reasonably priced.

My daughter LOVES to read and just by telling the staff about her, theyve recommended several books that shes absolutely loved. The staff here is so friendly and the prices are phenomenal. Its the perfect combination.

LOVE THIS PLACE I was just in there last nite 5 minutes b4 closing & was still able to grab 7 books in 5 minutes. I hadnt been there in a number of years & was extremely happy to find them still in business in an age of little independent book stores no longer in business. GREAT SELECTION AND PRICE
