So rude! Just called to set up an eye exam and the woman on the phone was incredibly rude. I will find another eye doctor. No way I would come here after that experience.

The personal their, did a great job taking care of my wife and helping her to find the perfect pair prescription glasses.I bought a pair of reading glasses there several weeks ago and found the experience to friendly and helpful. We would suggest this store to any of our friends or family.Nice and friendly staff. Most of all....they were all very helpful to both my wife and myself.

This place does a fantastic job. They actually care about each patient. Everytime I come in Im greeted with a smiling face. I never have to wait long at all. Todays I sat for about 1 minute before being called. The Dr. is extremely knowledgeable and does a great job of taking care of my eyes. Very happy! Always!

My dog had chewed my frames. I thought they were ruined. I went into Totalvision to see if I could get some inexpensive frames to put the lenses into. Instead, the owner pointed out to me that my frames were high quality and that perhaps she could fix them. She worked on them for 20 minutes, replaced a few parts and they were as good as new. I offered to pay her of course but she said there would be no charge. What a pleasant surprise!!I highly recommend these very nice local merchants.

I was super impressed by the staff at Total Vision Eyecare in North Haven. I have been wearing glasses since I was 7 years old, and I dont think I have ever had such a fun shopping experience for new glasses. Not only was the lady helping me out super friendly, but she also managed to pick the perfect pair of glasses for me on the very first shot! (I tried on about 8-9 pairs of glasses altogether, but ended up with the very first pair she handed me.)They were also very knowledgeable about the lens as well. I have a crazy high prescription, and they knew to recommend super thin lenses with burnished edges to make the glasses as light as possible. Pretty much every question I had was immediately answered, and the prices there were very reasonable. I would highly recommend this place to anyone who needs eye care.

When I went to TotalVision Eyecare Center, I felt very comfortable and at ease. I was greeted immediately. The staff there talked me through each step of everything I did that day. The doctor answered every question I had and explained everything in detail. When leaving I felt refreshed and relieved that I went to a place that took great care of me. I am waiting for my new glasses that will be in in a week. If you are looking for a great place to go, go here!

I received an eyeglass prescription from an eye care provider that did not sell eyeglasses in his office. I was getting ready to go grocery shopping at the Stop & Shop near Total Vision in North Haven, CT, and called and asked if they took my form of insurance (which most eyeglass sellers do not take complete payment by), and the extremely friendly receptionist said that they did! I immediately put my shopping on hold and went in to pick out glasses. Within 20 minutes, I was in and out with a beautiful pair of glasses selected and was told that my prescription would be sent out and be back for pickup in about a week. The personal attention that I received from Christine in selecting my frames, making sure that all of my information and measurements were correct, and just the general service given was simply exceptional. It’s well worth waiting for a week or so to get these glasses when the team working with you is so wonderful. I highly recommend everyone go and give Total Vision North Haven a shot - you won’t be disappointed! I can’t wait to come pick my glasses up! Thank you Total Vision!

Today was my first visit to Total Vision Eyecare and I can not say enough great things about my experience. The entire staff was friendly and helpful and Dr. Lefland is fabulous. My exam was thorough and he took time to explain each procedure and discussed my options for my contact lenses in great detail. I recently bought a home in North Haven and can now say I have found my new optometrist!

The entire staff here is professional, courteous, and downright pleasant to be around. I had no wait time for my appt and they have an enormous selection of frames (even the section for husky insurance was good). I would recommend this place to everyone!!!

I cant say enough about the exceptional care and service I received from the Dr. as well as his entire staff during my recent unplanned visit.I walked into the office with no appointment on New Years Eve with an extremely red and irritated eye. From start to finish (including the dr removing a piece of steel wool from my eye!!) I was in and out of his office in less than an hour.I cant thank everyone there enough and would recommend this company to anyone in need of excellent eye care!!

As always, Dr. Lefland and his staff made my routine visit last week an outstanding one. I had a very brief while I filled out paperwork, was comfortable in the office, and experienced compassionate and professional care. Ive had eye issues in the past, too, including laser surgery that Dr. Lefland managed along with the eye surgeon, and its always been a pleasure to have him as a caregiver.The office staff, both clinical and admin, are also wonderful. Very efficient, friendly and welcoming!

I have been coming to Totalvision since 2nd grade, and I now have a 2nd grader myself! The professionalism & knowledgeable staff make this practice stand out from others. Dr. Leftland is wonderful, and gets to know you & your family, and really knows his stuff. I have since moved 1 hour from North Haven, yet still come back for my yearly appointments!

Kudos to the TotalVision team! I was just there for a regular eye exm and the service couldnt have been better. Everyone was very friendly and helpful and Dr. Lefland knew right away what was wrong when I described the problem I was having with one eye. He even gave me the medication to treat it right then and there. This is a first class operation and I thought everyone should know!

I had an annual eye exam scheduled for last week. I was looking forward to getting the exam because I was on my last pair of contact lenses and needed a new supply. The day before the appointment I got an automated call to confirm the time. Unfortunately, it was not the correct time I had scedhuled it for. No big deal right? Well, I called the next morning to reschedule the appointment. The woman on the phone said I could not get a new appointment for about a month and a half out. What?? I said I have only a few days left of my last pair of contacts. I asked if they could get me an extra pair or two in the meantime to cover me. She said no.. my prescription was old and needed a new exam first. She said I should just try wearing my glasses if I had them. I said I had glasses but they are old, scratched and dont fit correctly. (I havent worn them in a long time). She said there was nothing she could do. Ok..... let me get this straight. I will not have any contact lenses in a few days. I told her I will not be able to see for a 6 weeks and is unacceptable. She said there was nothing they could do? This seems crazy.... I will not be able to drive or work. Is this how they treat their patients? There is no contingency policy? What if I just wore glasses. Suppose I lost them and was due for an annual exam? I guess they just say sorry... youll be blind as a bat for 6 weeks until we can get you in?Extremely poor customer service... zero care about the patient. I wound be going back. Thankfully, I was able to get into another doctors office in two days. I am happy with my new contact lenses and new glasses...and new doctor
