The ice cream is ok, but the staff can be rude. My last time there, I got in the drive thru 25 minutes before closing. They made me wait to order (no one ahead of me) and the car behind me was told that they couldnt order since they were now closed. They made him sit at the drive thru for about 10 minutes before informing him they were closed. I wont be going there again. Theres a better one on Washington Ave.

Went to this location and found a sloppy sign that said, “Drive thru only due to labor shortage.” I found this unacceptable as this business should’ve been paying and treating its employees fairly to ensure this wouldn’t happen. I hope they start giving their current and future workers fair wages so they can stop losing employees who aren’t treated right. Maybe it’s time to pay food service people like they’re “essential” since they’ve been burdened with that label.Also, the sign is an eyesore. A six year old with arthritis could’ve made a better one.

Good ice cream but Short on staff.

I was so disappointed that they didn’t have the cotton candy ice cream flavor anymore. But still it’s ok they got many more flavors to tryout. They need to speed up on the drive-thru window because people squeeze too close to each other and you now have to sit and wait for someone to move ahead.

It’s a DQ. Reasonably quick drive through. Always enjoy my blizzard. Only complaint is that I have no idea what their hours are and have driven over on two separate occasions only to discover that they are closed.

Dairy Queens Court performed unevenly with our order of 4 items today. This was disappointing on 2 of the 4 items. Not the usual result but not one expected either. Sure that another try will be given at Court but another joust(try) will bring more balance.

Arrived at 9:30, got to the drive through window at 9:31. Despite the “Open” sign still being on, and selling to the car in front of us, was told that they closed at 9:30. Rudely refused to sell ice cream even though it was for our 3 year old. 3 year old ended up on tears. Shameful. Will never visit this location ever again.

Summer wouldnt be summer without a few visits to Dairy Queen. So happy to have one nearby right now. Service and cleanliness at this location are great. They have an A prominently displayed on the window; not everyone has earned that! Quick stop for a small sundae on the way to pick up groceries and I almost felt like things were normal! My hot fudge sundae was delicious, just what I needed!

I swear the cashier didn’t have a brain... this blonde girl really fit the idiot stereotype -_-

Love taking my grand children there for cones and blizzards. Good excuse for me to get a cone or dilly bar. Never get tired of going there especially for one of their yummy cakes!

First off they put some weird piece of cake thing in my shake when all I asked for was a regular chocolate shake. And when I get home I realize my chili dog wasn’t even cooked! I’m suppose to cook it myself?? What am I paying for then? They really did me foul.Update: the chili dog couldn’t be saved. Total loss of money on that end. Thanks DQ

I don’t know why when you order your favorite treat and come home and the order is wrong. Then you go back and you get an attitude and the staff mocking you. What great customer service. It maybe awhile before I come back

Used to swear by this DQ. But now I am totally disappointed in it. A friend and myself were ordering and the girl taking our order just ignored how we wanted our milkshakes and they were made wrong. We always get a large chocolate shake, made with chocolate ice cream. I mean how hard is that to do? I hope the owners will talk to their workers so that the orders they take are done correctly. My friend couldnt finish her shake because of the mistake and I was upset, because I swore by this particular Dairy Queen and how great it is...☹️☹️

Drive through was good.

The girl was rude and rushed me. I tried to use my rewards coupon and she put her finger up and said no we don’t take that here. I asked for whipped cream and she rolled her eyes at me.

Great ice cream and they still offer free little cups of soft serve for any dogs that come with you.

This is a great Dairy Queen location. I met the owner today whose family has been running this location for over 60 years. I received wonderful Speedy service and had a delicious ice cream.

Cant get a single order right. If its that difficult for employees to remember write the order down. Its not a hard concept

My visit to the dairy queen in hamden on whitney an awful experience. The drive through teller was rude and condescending. Not customer friendly at all. Obviously doesnt care about this establishment or there reputation. The manager doesnt need to hire anybody else like her. Especially since the mistake was on them and not myself. I wouldnt recommend them to anyone ever.

I went there after and appointment tuesday around 230 and i asked for a wildberry blizzar witch is my fav when i got it ididnt look like wild berry blizzared more like vanilla blizzar i asked the girl i want more berrys and cheese cake she looked at me very rude and racist and said i have to charge you for more now i didnt want to argue so i just left it was horrible horrible never again

Why are they always closed 30 to 45 minutes earlier than posted?? 5 cars in the drive thru and they are all hanging in the back no respect to even tell the first car they were closed. Instead they were laughing.

Ice cream is good, girls attending are nice but the whipped cream is NOT free like in other dairy queens. I repeat, whip cream is extra! :o

Place is OPEN until 10pm. I arrived with my bf around 9.50pm, ordered pecan mudslide and got it without whipping cream. So, I asked if I can get it and the girl who works there told me that next time I should ask ahead of time bc it doesnt come with it and I told her that no matter where I went to DQ I got one with whipping cream. Couple of days after I went there again and ordered strawberry shake and got it again without whipping cream even though on the pick was presented with one. Had to ask again... something so simple... my bf started laughing bc he couldnt believe it.. however, we r not going to go there anymore

Order is frequently wrong. Either wrong toppings or they give me the wrong size. I intentionally repeat my order and mistakes are still made. More than once Ive asked for chocolate ice cream and instead I get vanilla. Not sure how that happens. Lol.

I got an Oreo mint blizzard and there was green dye all over the top not even mixed in and by the time I got to the bottom, it was vanilla ice cream because they didn’t mix in the mint flavor. I’m very disappointed. I expected more out of you Dairy Queen.
