I noticed this store on my google map and I was looking for some Chinese cooking wines among other items. I went to two other Asian stores near by and they had nothing I and Que Huong Market was the third and last on my list. I come in and was greeted warmly by the staff. I asked if they carried something and they showed me where everything was. Very courteous and friendly. Ive been trying to find black bean sauce, the kind without the garlic that seems to be what most stores carry. They had it. I will be trying the food next time and I will surely being going back.
Your One stop shop for Asian groceries and cuisine. Ive been going here for many years now. I purchased my lumpia wrappers here. The Menlo rappers. The best ever.
My family has been going to Que Hoang since the 1980s. Theyve watched us grow up though the decades. Que Hoang is a family run oriental market full of snacks, drinks, various ingredients, seasoning, meat, fish, vegetables, rice, noodles and many more items from back home and various Asian countries. I can always count on finding what I need to make food from back home. The family that owns Que Hoang are very kind and one of them are always there. If your ever in need food for a potluck, they have amazing catering food: lumpia, pancit, palabok, BBQ pork, chicken, lechon etc... The prices are fair, customer service is great. Its nice to see that they continue to be here over 40 years later.
Now when I go to North Highlands, will be my favorite Asian market to go to for my marinades!
Tiny parking lot and store but chances are they have what you need as far as Asian staples. Fun place to browse.
5 stars because 8 years or so ago, I bought a 3 piece grass floor mat for aprox 24 $. Its now outside being used there. Im going back for another. Bright colors, design and durable. Not like anything you can find anywhere.
A small southeast Asian grocery store. I go here if Im in a pinch and South Sac is too far of a drive. Parking is limited.
Wonderful place to find a variety and wide range of Asian products. The owner is very friendly as well, highly recommend checking the store out 👍👍
I am a regular customer here!! They know my mom and I.. They are so polite and courteous. Its tiny but big on different things in the market..
Good family business, with a great selection . been going at least 25 years
Came in to grab some items that I couldn’t find at a local grocery store in order to make pad Thai. Owners of the store were so kind and came quick to help in my search for products that I’ve never even heard of before. Great customer service.
Cute hole-in the-wall place
Great asian products, and groceries. Very affordable. Friendly and helpful staff.
This is an Asian food store. It has cuisine from several countries (Chinese, Japanese, Thai, etc). There are a couple of refrigerators and freezers, as well as a meat counter, but most of the stock is dry goods. The space is really tight. Difficult to maintain social distancing. But that means the place is packed with good stuff. Noodles (wheat and rice), mixes for soups and beverages and stuff that a white person like me cant even guess what they are.The reason for going to Que Huong Market (which is way out of my way, though easy to find) is the prices. Definitely get your soy sauce, sesame oil, rice vinegar, etc there. As an example: A small bottle of rice vinegar at the grocery store costs more than a full sized bottle at this market. Similar savings on everything. Get your rice here, too, for sure. Its a mom and pop kinda place, an older couple. Ive never seen anyone else working the register. They are welcoming. The parking lot is a bit tricky. Small and with the spaces in strange spots.Over all, definitely recommend.
Tiny little place with limited items. Still better then nothing. Very nice and helpful clerks. There is a food court, they only have maybe 3 items out. Youd have to order if you want something else. Good thing is they always have eggrolls available. So crunchy and yummy! I would only go there if I lived in the area.
They were very helpful helping me find ingredients to make homemade Kimchi. And they have a huge variety of foods and sauces you would need for any dish youre trying to make.
Been coming to Que Huong for years for their stewing hen and goat meat. The owner is always friendly and staff ever ready to assist.
My mom loves going here she finds her international goods
I love this market!! So many items you cannot find at a super market. Good food also made in house. You must stop by..
Very small and only light selection of produce & product available here. But its a long ways to a decent Asian supermarket store so better than nothing.
Great people, great prices, great selection.
A small family business; nice selection of foods, and a hot wok... And very good people...
Been going here for years, very friendly and great customer service.
No pictures needed. Just walk in on a Saturday morning and get some of their bbq pork. The owners are just adorable and very family oriented.
Went for the first time today and it was great. Thankfully a wonderful selection of Thai foods and spices!! Got some Thai tea leaves and pad Thai noodles
The only asian store i know that has my brand of soy sauce. I love the cassava cakes too
If you want to buy asian ingredients this is very good place.
Small mom and pop store that has been there for over 30 years(still survive). Items usually bought from South Sacramento markets to have available to North Sacramento customers. Prices are decent, usually $0.20-0.75 more, but, it beat driving through traffic jam from North Sacramento to South Sacramento!
Friendly staff and not expensive
Had everything I needed, and then some. Great selection, great prices. They were super nice too.
They have a good selection of ethnic foods and always friendly
My favorite market to come to instead of driving across town to rancho cordova but its affordable and helpful workers
The best prices in arden and the kindest, most admirable cashiers
Small but good prices on items and friendly staff
Nice little store, they got good, low sugar cookies, you can find those here, and their cough syrup is some of the best
Great fresh meat!

Needed bag of seafood delight and they sure had it here
Good Always buy lumpia chicken, vegetable goog
Boy! These folks have utilized the most of their small space! The place is chock-full of culinary delights! Its an Asian shopping bonanza! From Filipino lumpia to Kim Chee to Pad Thai, to fried rice! Que Huong has a hot food counter that serves the typical Chinese food, cafeteria style, on weekdays. And pre-made to-go plates on Saturdays. And if you buy their fish, if you like, they will gut, scale and fry it for you on Fridays! The Owner was very friendly and extremely helpful! I will shop there again!
This Asian Grocery Store and Market is on Watt Ave, NOT in the commissary. The store shelves are full of everything and the people were very VERY helpful and friendly. A great shopping experience
I love this lil place. Has alot of staples im use to buying without travelling to the south area. The different clerks are always friendly and can help you figure out what you need. There are lil meat pies (empanadas) that get delivered there. They are so good. So good they sell out within hours. I try to buy at least 5 or more. They also have bahn mi sandwhiches and eggrolls meat or sweet banana st the counter. I find some of the drinks i use to buy when i was in Hawaii. Thats always a nice treat. There is also a restaurant attatched for hot food options that is prepared fresh for you. I recommend.
