Very nice young gentleman was the cashier. Sold me my water had very pleasant small talk. Quite a very helpful & nice young man.

This is a nice store. Four stars as staff is unprofessional. I observed a female berating a male employee on the sales floor so only four stars.

I love the prices and the people are always so nice. The last time I was there there was only one guy doing the register, the phones, and the floor. Yet he was still very nice.

I dont normally shop at this location. However, some smer items were purchased and unable to be transported that day. They held the items for us until the next day. Staff was extremely accommodating and helpful. If it was closer to home would definaty return.

Went to Big lots to look for pillow cases ended up buying other things at a good price. I havent been in a Big lots in years and this was well organized short lines and quite a few people in the store

I Was really Disappointed with Managers customer service. I bought 2 iPhone Big Lot brand chargers for Christmas. Everything going well 10 days later. Threw pkg and receipt away. 2 days later the phone dropped and the plug into the charger snapped off. I called talked to manager telling situation and wanting just to Replace it. Surprised it would of ever broke off where it did. I get it, no receipt, no pkg. but with Great Customer Service...they would of said sure come in We will replace it. Didn’t happen..pretty disappointing. I will not shop there again. Sorry to say...that’s not Customer service.

Wasnt impressed I always like Big Lots havent been there for a long. But at the store I think the staff was kind of rude nobody else we needed help and the prices work more than regular stores 4 everyday things

I specifically went in for kids decor items, some of which were in stock. The store was clean and organized. The cashier was focused on new reward accounts. Once he realized I was already a member he had to delete the information he input which was a false email account. He lacked professionalism and soft skills. I will not be returning to this location.

Went there to buy my furniture paid cash for it had a third-party deliver it got my furniture and they tell me that the manager Ryan at Big lots store 4555 Watt town Center 3615 Elkhorn Rd., North Highlands, CA 95660 Know about the big rip at the bottom of my furniture and still decided to send it out even though it’s at the bottom I still don’t think that they should have sent it out also Said that there was no Receipt on the furniture but when I it got here the receipt was tap on the back of the furniture..You really shouldn’t buy furniture from this Location Ryan is worst..Rude

Worked at biglots over a month got let go because management was unproffesional mike and ryan sabotaged my employment these people expect construction type work ethic with a retail job i wouldnt recommend anyone shop here work here or go here in general and dont let the manager ryan fool you into thinking hes a nice guy like i did

Not thrilled with this big lots 1st off it was a complete disaster and I know the holidays at stores like this can be an organized but this was beyond and there was so many things that didnt have a price on them or were on the shelf with no price underneath them had to take 4 of the items up to the counter to get price check before I bought them made me feel like a cheapskate.

Great friendly shopping experience

I stood in line for well over 30 minutes waiting for the cashier to stop talking and actually work, and when I got to the counter they are telling me the product that I grabbed was not for sale and they could not sell this item!! I won’t be back here!!

Latoya was awesome. Her going the extra mile to assist my fiance and I purchase furniture is the only reason I chose to leave this review. Glad she was there that day, if left up to her supervisor Jake, we would have shopped elsewhere.Love our couch and dining room table that we got for a great price. Was easy to put together.

Its a normal big lots thats pretty sizable. Normal employees, somewhat weird customers and really dont expect too much. Go in, get out. Thats it.

I went there to see if they have lamp shades, they redesigned the whole store it looks alot better, the Halloween stuff was on sale, and they already have the Christmas items on display. A great place to look around and find a little bit of everything from food to sofas, reasonable prices and friendly workers if you have any questions. A great benefit to the area for me because I ride my bicycle and I really dont want to ride to far.🚴👍

We have shopped here for years. The employees are always helpful & friendly, I even consider a few of them to be friends. As of Sept 4 2018 the whole store is midway through a complete remodel. They are open throughout the remodel & everything is well organized & easy to find despite the changes.

Poor lack of customer services and employees, they don’t seem to care for anyone on the phone and I have been put on hold for 5 times. Furnitures from this place is unbelievable. My mom ordered her couch from them they promised to call her ASAP when the shipment arrived. Which they don’t? We have to call them numerous times. I don’t know how these people who works there even get a job there when they don’t have any customer experiences to talk to people like us. Zero star for this place! Don’t buy furniture from here. Everything else is okay except the furniture.

Prices were great a large pack of charmin for $7 off what I normally pay. This savings was soon forgotten as a stood in line for 15min, as the checker assisted another employee and took her time to chitchat and call other employees over to chat as well. She cheerfully flagged other shoppers to the other register, who must have checked out 7 people to her 1. Go to big lots and save a lot, but select a different one for you spending, and save your time too.

Im rating based on customer service at this location. Daniel was sweet and friendly. Knowledgeable about the store and eager to assist me. All of the employees I spoke with took pride in their job and I was pleasantly surprised. A MAJOR improvement has occurred! Good job!

Went in today and was surprised by the large amount of furniture they have. They carry Broyhill and Lane; two brands that have been around since before I was a kid. Good solid furniture that can withstand average household use.

Love Big Lots! Yes my Aunt told me about how you have to watch what you buy because of some items are refurbished, however I worked for them for almost 5 years and have bought quite a few Refurbished items, which by the way are fully warranted, and never had a problem with Anything! Keep up the bargains Big Lots!

Sometimes it’s hit or miss but for the most part, Big Lots has relatively low prices on quality brands — especially laundry detergents. I also like shopping here for linens, Knick knacks and sometimes kids toys. Customer Service is okay and presentation is solid overall

Its been a long time since I had visited this location and I have to say you have impressed me. I really like the changes you have done. Its very clean and well maintained. I dont get that clearance store feel anymore. Keep it up.

Actually pretty good. Especially for a big lots. Could definitely be a lot worse. It is always kinda dirty and messy but I never really have to wait long. I understand helping customers is important but clean the place up. Great deals tho. Most of the time I never see the same item twice so dont get attached to the products.

This store has a mixture of well known, popular and different products. Some you cant find in regular stores. Prices are reasonable on everyday items and they have nice furniture for sale also. Great store!

Yhe store is being remodeled and looking beautiful but the staff up front needs a little training on customer service. I was next in line and she grabbed the guy behind me to check him out. Not cool!

Lines always long and cashier is slow

The Big Lots in North Highlands and Im not sure about the others that they have put the furniture in the front of the store and Ive never seen anyone looking at the furniture while I was there. I usually go to Big Lots for the grocery section and the toiletries but theyve got them stuck in the back of the store and thats my humble opinion on it. If they are going to have furniture at the store to like they do at angle in Carmichael and make it a separate section almost like a different store.

The personnel that work in the furniture dept are excellent. I purchased something and went back a week later to pick it up but forgot my receipt. The lady was still accommodating and helped me out.

Well my friend bought me some furniture from there, love seat couch and recliner. I less than 2 1/2 years it started breaking apart. I literally was able to rip the couch, live seat and recliner apart with my hands a throw it in the trash. The furniture is cheap and not worth buying, it was the black leather set.

Fun it was. LaToya is my new interior designer. Why? Because thats what she says she does. Helped me with coordinating furniture, colors and was a great help. Told her Id come back and wed work on the area rugs and accents. Great store, helpful people. Great prices on furniture and bedding and lots of other stuff for your place. Also basic foods items are available. Plus I saw a digital recorder that you connect to your tv antenna source and it comes with a128gb stick for your recordings. Some cable companies dont give you that much recording space for DVR service in which youre paying for monthly. Check out Big Lots. You will be pleasantly surprised.
