This morning was our first visit to all Sac Metals Recycling. My three-year-old son loves to recycle with Mommy! He had so much fun! The workers are all so kind and nice! My son got to help jump a car are bins of recycling and the guys paid him for helping. He loved it! When we were done, Jose let my son sit on the forklift with him and lift up the forks. He was so excited! Thank you so much we will definitely be back!

The employees were respectful, courteous and actually helped me unload my recyclables.

Extremely great service & wonderful experience teaching my 12 year old son the ropes of recycling.

I go here regularly. But today 1 full can of plastics was stolen from me! Of coarse the thieves said it was their’s. The 2 gentleman that were working there made it right for me! They saw who had my plastics.2 Awesome Gentleman!Thanks Again

This place is filthy and cashier and staff rude. The bees are swarming while you wait in line. I recommend going elsewhere

I love sac metals. They are always curtious and never give us any hassles. I personally have had good experiences recycling here. I will spend more to make it out to their location because every other place is too critical about scrap metals. I notice they are always happy to help unlike alot of can yards. This place rocks. We are exceptionally happy with their service. I would recommend them to the families who need this place. 5 stars!!

Good place to go. Expect on hot days there are a lot of bees. Sunday seems to be their busiest day since theyre one of the few places open.

I really like this place for my recycling needs. Its simple and easy. It can get pretty crowded at times but I just choose a different time to return.

In my experience literally the most worst iv seen a awhile. You go in and try making an extra buck for your family and they rob you. Best part of it all is they tell you as they do it.i took in 89 lbs shiny copper and 100 lbs of copper in romex and stripped romex. After they weighed it and gave me the ticket back they straight up say if I took my copper to sims I would get just about double because they sell what they get from there customer to them. Literally robbing people amd I dpnt do comments often but yea. You guys are garbage

Their pay for recycling is horrible and they dont even have a trash can i had to put my gross trash bags back into my clean car. This is disgusting. One of the employees who is at the pay window was very rude. I wont be back here

The guys that helped weigh up didnt say a word except can separate green bottles from clear, and not so nice. And the lady that have us our money was kinda cold too. Wont go there again and I only went there is because my usual place was closed. Grrr I hate grumpy people.

This place was cool the guys all were really pleasant until time to get my money ...the lady in the box office was so slow there was a long line seemed like forever . It took longer to get the cash then it did to turn in my cans.

This was my first time recycling here. I brought in two damaged auto rims. Once I figured out where to park, there were no problems. The weigh in went really quickly. There was a bit of a delay getting my money because I was a first time customer and they had to set up an account, but overall, the process went very smoothly.

The location is 00⅝ for this type of business. I havent had a problem with getting a parking space however I think I just got lucky as on both occasions someone was just pulling out of the last spot when I was pulling in. The place was pretty busy & from what I was told I wasnt even there during the peak hours. With that being said you may not get as lucky as I did when it comes to getting a parking spot. The line to turn in my recycling was pretty long both times I went there but it moved pretty fast and the three men taking in the recycables offered some comical relief with there personal work banter as well as with there interactions with each customer which made what time I did spend in line entertaining. Unfortunately I cant the same thing about the line to get the money for recycling. The wait was so long I found myself beyond frustrated so much so that I started questioning out loud what the hold up was until finally stating out loud how rediculous it was that it was taking so long & what could possibly be the reason for it. So to sum it up if you have an hour or more and feel like making a little money standing in lines this wouldnt be the worst place you could do it. Like I said theres plenty of entertainment between the characters turning in there recycling to the workers interacting with them as well as each other. And depending on the time of day you plan to go stand in line & you dont have more than a bag full of recycling you may want to incorporate your daily excercise into the trip say in the form of a bike ride. Unless of course youre feeling lucky. Getting a parking spot requires you have at least a little and you arrive at a off peak time. Sorry I cant tell you what time that is exactly. Oh yeah if your choice of excercising is taking a nice brisk walk I dont recommend incorporating your excercise for the day in this trip even if you live relatively close which as far as I could tell the closest apartments were a bit of a trek away not to mention the main road being Roseville Rd. gets pretty darn busy especially during the lunch & rush hours. Again not the worst place to stand in line while making a few $$.

Fast reliable and friendly

I took 6 months of recycle plastic. Ive been saving since Thanksgiving. I smashed the bottles to make room in my car to transport them. I had seven 6 foot bags. Prior to smashing the bottles I had saved 40 tall 13gallon kitchen bags and my return was only $49 Im sure I was cheated. Will not be returning. This is not the first this has occurred.

They got mad at me for picking up the trash off the road and putting it in the business next doors dumpster! Which is out near the side walk. Not Locked down!

They give you the lowest prices you can get!!! Rip off!! Could of gotten more 2x more any where else! They gave me $1.45 for bright & shiny when Sims gives you $2.70!! But they did except it so that was good .

Its best if you can get there early in the morning; avoid the bees and other stinging insects.

Honest business here. If you make a mistake in your separating of metals they will sort them out so you wont be undervalued. Their weights are spot on and the scrap prices are better than most of the other recyclers in North Highlands. The facility is a bit primitive but I can live with that. Fair weights and fair dealings.

Always fast and very friendly people!! Play great music too!! Thats a plus in my book.

The men out there putting in work are very helpful, one guy helped me with all the CRV another man helped me get my tie down off an an other man completely helped me get my old fridge off of my truck! I will never go anywhere else! The bees suck in the summer but thats just mother nature!

This people honor homeless scrap with bunch of carts illeagally crossing rail roads under the airbase drive bridge overpass on a daily bases and leaving bunch of trash along the rail roads and back fences. I would not recommend going there

The people there are helpful. Too bad everyone expects recycle yards to break the law for them. The employees here understand the laws and will explain if you ask.

Its a great place to go on weekends has lots of hiney bees during summer fast and friendly

They wouldnt even take half of our loud because some of the labels were missing but the same bottles did have a label. So the question is whats the difference they will eventually be melted down into new plastics anyway.

Its best to come in early in the morning. This place gets a lot of bees when it warms up.

People here have always been very friendly to me. & Ive never been jipped the many times Ive turned in my recyclables. Good place for CA CRV (e.g. plastic bottles, aluminum cans, glass bottles, etc.)

Came in with a bunch of computers and laptops to recycle. Had to figure out where to park, but after that I grabbed a cart, and hauled everything over to the scale. Got a lot more than I expected...was the only place I could find that would pay for ewaste.

What a crappy place to go. We generally take our bottles there, and its okay. But we took scrap metal over there and they said we only had 300 or so pounds and then called it tin and gave us 4 cents/pound (got $12.40). We had scrap iron, steel, mixed - could have gotten a better deal at A-1 but figured this was closer. They were rude almost from the start - we parked where others were and we were told to park against the fence - then they almost ran us over with a forklift. Contacted the owners by phone who said oh well, maybe they weighed it wrong - well talk to them really? that was helpful.......filing a complaint with BBB and consumer affairs.

Terrible the employees were drunk i couldnt clean my metals everyone there was high on something the guy at thescale was rude and swore every other word i dont recommend

ASM is conveniently open 7 days a week. The payouts arent the best but they arent the worst either. The accurate and amazing service makes up the difference. Thanx guys!

The guys there work hard and deal with a lot of customers daily. Some friendly customers and some are not so friendly, but the crew at ASM have always maintained a smile and are ready for the next customer.

Been going there for a year now really cool until today..the guy wieghing my cans was rude..asked him to lower the rap music volume so i can here what he is saying he said if i dont like it go someplace else even the yard supervisor said the same thing in what lil english he spoke..he wanted to fight me..i felt so disrespected..
