Nice store! The worker is really nice, and I saved myself 700 dollars for a phone upgrade. My mom has been coming here for 2 years and always dealt with Sam. She always looks for him and he always takes care of us, gets us the best deal, provides excellent customer service, Verizon needs to give him a raise! Unfortunately this store is closing at the end of June but he told me about the East Meadow location on Hempstead Turnpike, go there if you want excellent service and good deals!

Sam at the North Merrick store is exceptional. He seamlessly upgraded my account and facilitated transfer of all my info on two new devices with poise, humor, and patience. He also had an iPad delivered to me from a different store during my visit, to avoid my needing to return within a few days. Exceptional human being, and exceptional service.

Just stopped in. I brought my phone from the previous owners. But the current protective glass from the current owner. The salesmen I dealt with never told me for $29 dollars more I can have a warranty. So the glass is cracked from what the current owner calls “ a hard fall “. my phone hasn’t dropped anywhere hard so I don’t like the accusation. Then he tells me the salesmen that didn’t tell me about the warranty has been fired. So we know he’s a screw up now. I tried to find my charge with the charge card companies by asking for Cellular City charge as that’s what he said to look for. Nothing came up and now I believe another name is probably used for the charge. Under google here it’s Verizon Wireless Cellular City. First he tried to sell me a new phone. Then pay for the glass and warranty. So you know what. I’m getting an Otter box and when it’s time for accessories new phone ect I’ll go to another Verizon store

I needed to get a new phone, in which I did. They said they’d fix the back screen that was cracked and would send it to the warehouse the next day. Ten days later I get an email saying Verizon is waiting for my device to be returned. I called the store and got the run around. Long story short, they couldn’t locate my phone and said they’d call back. They never did, so I called back. Apparently they sent my phone to a store in Islip to be fix and wasn’t sure if it had actually been fixed yet. I asked to speak to a manager and I spoke with Manny who assured me they’d take care of it. I don’t trust them, as they said it once before and had been shady in dealing with this. We left off that the store manager would call me the next day (no one ever called) and that I’d pick my phone up from the store and mail it myself. The manager never called me today. After speaking with the nicest lady at Verizon customer service, I learned that they should have taken my insurance, but didn’t, even after I asked about it. I was charged $50 instead of the $29 that it should have been. I do not recommend this store!

They guaranteed a life time warranty on phone accessories, clearly stating to return to the store at any time with original receipt.Today when I tried, they said I have to contact the company who makes the accessories.Will never return to this store again. The store hours on the door indicate they open at 9am on Saturday. I was there at 9:50 and the doors were locked. The young man who worked there slooooiwly walked over to the door and let me know they open at 10. Its ok.. Ill go elsewhere. This is why I choose to do everything online.
