We visited the pleasant little beachside town and we’re dearly disappointed in both the quality and service of the Kohr Family Ice Cream shop. We arrived to find outrages prices of their product and the service lacked in both hospitality and the general kindness of their staff. We waited an unreasonable amount of time and when it finally came to place our order only half of what we thought to purchase was taken into consideration. One employee stood around for half the time idly twiddling his hands and when we asked for help and inquired about the rest of our order he refused that service as well. The overall experience was dreadful, frustrating, and disgusting. The amount of flies circling their food was repulsive. Would not recommend nor would I take the time to revisit.

The prices are high, but I was willing to pay extra for what they advertise: freshly made with natural ingredients. Plus, it was a very hot day. There is very little seating area, so youll have to eat the ice cream outside, in the heat. But, my ice cream was inedible, to the point that I tossed it in the trash rather than eat it. I had the strawberry ice cream, but there was very little strawberry flavor. Also, the ice cream tasted powdery--maybe something they mix into the ice cream? It left a very dry (odd for ice cream) and unpleasant taste in my mouth. Ill never visit this place again. To be fair, my husband had the sorbet, which he said was okay, but still neither the taste nor quality justified the price we paid for that sorbet either.

Only one star because zero was not a choice. No prices listed! We paid $27 for 2 kids single scoop cups, 2 soft serve cups and 2 bottled waters... $27 dollars. My mom was there earlier and she refused to pay those prices. She asked for the manager, who promptly took the ice cream from her hands and threw it in the trash.

Excellent service. Real ice cream. This is all natural folks, expect to pay more. Youre on vacation live a little! Best Ive ever had no doubt, and im old and well traveled.

Best ice cream Ive ever eaten. I cant wait to get back down for our annual vacation we go to Kohrs every day. I dont mind paying a little more. Its definitely worth it.

I go here expecting the famous orange custard. Guess what, the girl says that they are all out, sorry sir. Then she proceeds to charge us 5 $ for a chocolate cone for a kid. Poor very poor service.

First of all there are no prices listed that you can see . When I asked to buy one scoop they refused to sell me one scoop they said they only sell two scoops. I said I didnt need two scoops of ice cream I just need one, they said no can do, so I said ok I will buy a childs cup they said no can do😳who are these people. I tasted some of their ice cream it is not great🤑at $8dollars it better be the best ice cream you have ever tasted. Please dont buy their ice cream, do your research, there are better ice cream parlors near by that are better tasting and cheaper and guess what if you want to buy just one scoop youcan😋whats a novel idea. This place does not deserve any stars.

Been getting orangeade from here the past 8 years.. its not as close as good now, sadly... pretty creative though :) The interior is very rusty and employees not very friendly.. :/

Encountered a very rude employee during visit to the shop. She must be so angry because she must not be getting a kickback off of the ridiculous $$$$$ the shop charges for their product?Typical tourist trap that I got caught in with a family of 7. Someone needs to smack me silly if I ever walk into one of their shops again. Prices are only posted on a 4x6ish cardboard sign on the counter(should have been my first clue) & ended up costing $50 for seven cones. Buyers definitely need to beware!

This place is a big rip off! They charge over $8.00 for an ice cream cone. I am sure the people that they have working there dont even make that much in a hour. They wont serve adults a childs scoop either. Run far from here and take your money to the grocery store and get the buy one get one free Breyers Ice Cream. It will taste better and wont feel like you were just robbed!Tip...Go to the Fudgery. They have ice cream in a waffle cone for $3.49/scoop!

$30 for 4 ice cream cones!!! might as well have had one of their rude employees standing at the door just taking money. didnt even have a price board or any way of seeing how much anything cost. all ice creams came super small. if im paying almost $8 for a damn ice cream cone, atleast give me a decent scoop. DONT WASTE TIME OR MONEY. TOTAL RIPOFF
