Just disappointed in the merchandise. It appears Big Lots is now a Broyhill distributor. I remember shopping these stores years ago and finding a hodgepodge of different items by different makers. I bought an unusual shower curtain, a drink cooler Id never seen before and many oddities not carried by other local stores. Now they carry mostly the Broyhill line of products which are okay, but usually more expensive and similar to all the other walmart and target offerings.Service was excellent and store was clean and I did see a few Must Have Christmas decorations.

They have a little bit of everything and great prices too. We go about every other week just to see what they currently have where we can save $$.

They actually have a pretty wide selection of what nots at a reasonable price . More for locals than anything.

Lady in front of us in line had an item that was priced 29.99 on the item but rang up 36 and they wouldnt fix it. Thats bad business.

Giving it 5 🌟 because of the people and cleanliness of the store. Stock in the carpet runners as well as kitchen items like pots, pans and other items a bit low 4 🌟 with other areas well stocked. Checkout was a breeze with Anna being very professional giving Bill his military discount so that brought it back up to 5 🌟. Plenty of parking makes this another good Big Lots location to stop and shop.

My son went to purchase a couch and was told that they delivered through a third party. Upon contacting this third party we found out that the cost would be an additional $200.00! There website stated that they delivered, no mention of this third party. Well, needless to say, they lost out on a big sale. Truth in advertising, guys, look it up.

Many thanks to the area manager in Myrtle Beach and the store manager in Shalotte NC. We ordered a piece of furniture online. The piece was showing as available in out local store but we were told to pick up in Shalotte.I contacted the area manager who helped me arrange to have the piece delivered to our home by the Shalotte store manager. It was delivered but not what we ordered, I called again and the area manager arranged thru the same store manager to get the exchange done. It is good now.One more comment, do not put your display item online as being available!

Even though we went into this store looking for a microwave which to our surprise they no longer carry. We were able to find other things. Instead of us walking right back out the door. The appearance of the store drew us in. The store was clean, the aisle were free of debris, and product. It was very easy to move through the store with a shopping cart. The prices were great! The product availability was amazing 👌 we even found some things that we never seen before! Great visit, definitely would revisit this store.

The employees had a pleasant contagious attitude it went from one to the other speaking when we walked into the door to when we check out it was wonderful. Will I visit again absolutely and the store was spotless and the cashier was very helpful.

Bought an outdoor couch and chair set from big lots. Chairs went together fine but had to return the couch and get a new one because the holes and pegs did not match up correctly. Got a new couch and still had to use a drill to widen the hole. Furniture looks good in the store but is cheaply made. But at hone depot or Lowe’s not worth the trouble.

Went for under bed storage container. They did not have those but I still found many great deals. Glad I stopped!

Shop here occasionally. Always a good value. Plenty of stock. Jennifer was my check out clerk and was very professional and pleasant.

Clean store. Was price checking some items and could actually get them from Amazon for less with free shipping. Still good to pick up odds and ends. I purchased a wooden dining table and 4 chairs from Big Lots in 1997 and it has survived 3 moves and is still sturdy and in good condition and being used everyday! Amazing.

Big Lots, N. Myrtle Beach, SC is a SUPERB model store. It is clean, well-organized, and full stocked. The aisles that are not stocked (e.g., seasonal) are not cluttered with boxes that need to be emptied. The bathroom (Womens) is well lit, clean, and all stalls are functional. This store is by far the BEST one I have ever shopped and I highly recommend all managers in the neighboring states to visit it and take note.

Smaller store than MB....a little cramped....but still has a nice selection of bargains.

This Big Lots is my go to Big Lots for quickly needed items. I always receive coupons and great shopping incentives. Each cashier is super friendly and the store is always stocked well.

There are a lot of very nice items in this large store compared to the other big lots. They also have more of a variety. It is organized well, sometimes that extra stock can get in the customers way. They have Kleenex brand tissues for $1.00

Big Lots had Navy room darkener curtains. Bought a few other things. The store was nice and clean and bigger than the store in my home town.

I cant go too often, or Ill spend too much money. Lots of good deals. I really go for the international foods, though. A good selection of European foods. The selection can change, so if you like it...make sure you get it as it may not be there the next time.

Good stuff to buy for your home. I love the gel pillows I just bought.

Store has been completely remodeled and looks amazing compare to many run down Big Lots stores. If you are trying to be frugal, your smart phone to compare prices to Walmart. Some were better and some a little higher. Walmart offers price match through their Savings Catcher app, but they do not compare their prices to discount/closeout stores like Big Lots. Ive last thing, Big Lots gives you an affordable way to trial products, especially specialty foods, coffees, snacks, etc. that can be expensive elsewhere. If you like them, then you can decide if they are worth the higher price youll pay at other stores.

Saw some pretty good buys at this store

The store was organized and cleaned..customer service was great and even though I didnt find everything I needed I would still go back and recommend it to family and friends..also the bathroom was really clean and its not expensive on certain items.

Went to purchase rope lights. There werent enough attachment pieces and went to chat sight to inquire about getting more. A local store was no help. She just pointed down an aisle and stood there. There were no extra packets of attachment pieces. Online chat was no help. Just said to go to store. This was my first and last time at Big Lots....

Big Lots they do carry some stuff there that you might not find in other stores but their Furniture area is taking up the whole store hard to determine if its a furniture store or a shopping center prices Aria higher than Walmart and Roses suggest visiting another store before you buy here

My wife uses for quick fixes, placemats, seasonal things. As a male, really no place I choose to spend for me. Rest rooms ars clean.

I was not impressed by the prices. And it did not have too much variety in the beauty department or tool section. Their chips and food items were priced the same as a regular food chain, some even more, so I wouldnt buy their items instead. It is okay. They did have some very nice mirrors. The cashier was very pleasant and the store is very clean. I will go there to check it out if I cannot find something, but probably not often. To sum it up, the prices were a deal breaker for me. Not anything fantastic that I should purchase there instead of another store. FYI, I have been there more than once. 3-6-2015
