Over the last 5 or more years I have purchased several kites here from basic kites to large foils and delta foils when I’ve been in the area. I have never been disappointed in the quality of the kites nor the quality of the service. If you are looking for something just for fun or something spectacular give them a call. Better yet drive to the store …. You will not be disappointed!

They are absolutely wonderful. Whether its online shopping, shopping in person, or kite repairs. Always extremely helpful and courteous. Extremely knowledgeable about all kinds of kites, line laundry and everything else that involves the wind and fun!!! Will definitely shop with them again and again. Even have friends who love kites again and Kligs is their go to place also. Highly recommend!!

This is one of the coolest stores Ive been to in a long time. I was here for probably 45 minutes just looking at all kinds of kites. I bought 2 kites for my son and myself. The prices were great and employees were very nice and helpful. I will be going back to this store.

Update: Easy swap out for lines after bringing it back to the store. Apparently Prism changed lines (and winders) at some point for the Synapse 140. Overall, I’m very satisfied with the store now - as I mentioned below in the original review, the root cause did come down to a Prism QC issue.Overall, a good selection and nice staff. I left my stunt kites at home so I decided I would pick up a dual line delta style and a dual line foil style. I got the Prism Synapse 140 foil for $75 and a Premier delta style. The foil had a nasty knot in the lines upon taking it out of the pouch (some individual strands were tangled between the two lines which created some obvious fraying) and the left line snapped after about 15 minutes of flying in moderate wind. The knot and fraying was in the rough spot of the failure so I’d consider that the cause. Granted this ultimately comes down to Prism’s QC but for the premium paid here, I’m surprised that there was no in-store QC (as I’ve experienced with some other shops).

I went to this store during the advertised hours. I was met at the door by someone telling me they are closed. When asked about the listing saying they should be open for several more hours, he said it was a glitch.As I was getting in my car I noticed that they took over the store next door and used the windows as a shrine to Trump along with posters comparing Biden to Stalin. Not giving them any money. Shopping should not garage you with political messages.

More flags than Kites in the store but still a decent selection. Lots of political flags and banners which was a bit of a turn off. Staff was helpful and friendly

The father and daughter running this store are doing a fantastic job. Coming down from Ohio I wanted to spend my money with a mom and pop style store and I was not disappointed. The prices were great andI would of been happy to pay more just for the great customer service I received. I will be back!

Highly recommended shop with great kite selection as well as banners, yard spinners, flags, and lots of funky novelty items. Richard and his daughter are very helpful and knowledgeable. Richard helped me revive an old kite that I thought was garbage and helped me find a new kite to fit my needs.

Nice variety of kites and memorabilia but kind of pricey to me. After I purchased the kite, the cashier told me to go fly a kite.

Kites kites and more kites! Wow, I was impressed with the selection they had and the staff was top notch. The young lady that rang up my order helped to put a hook on the string reel for the kite I was buying for an easy connect/disconnect. Highly recommend this store if youre looking for a $40 kite or a $200 kite.

Five stars ALL THE WAY, we have been to Kligs North Myrtle Beach store countless times and every one there is so knowledgeable and very friendly. The owner Rick and his daughter are always ready to help us out with all our kiting needs. The other day we came in with a vintage Flexifoil stunt kite that needed a sail repair, Ricky not only repaired my sail but he also fixed my ripped kite bag, upgraded my line winder with a new bungy cord and replaced my line ends that had started fraying, this level of customer service when what I expected was just to get my sail fixed is amazing. Thank you Kligs team for such an amazing experience. We look forward to seeing yall next year.

If you are looking for something to take back home, this could be the best place in the area. We stopped in because we wanted to get a couple of kites for two special kids back home. What we found blew our minds. The store is packed with the most interesting items you can imagine, but it neat as a pin. Isles are easy to navigate and laid out in a logical easy to follow pattern. Great music playing, super hospitality and things that we just couldnt resist. Cheap stuff...nope everything we found was good quality at a reasonable price. We consider this a Must Stop. Right on HWY 17 just north of Barefoot Landing. You wouldnt be disappointed.

This kite shop is wonderful, just like the kite shops I used to visit as a kid back in the 80s. My husband has been dying to purchase a truck kite for several years and finally decided to take the plunge on our family vacation.The owner spent so much time going over all of the kites he had in stock and actually steered him towards a more affordable option that was better suited to my husband’s skill level and needs. (He was ready to buy the biggest and best).They have so many kites and interesting tchotchkes for sale so even though I eventually got bored with the trick kite talk, there was plenty to look at while I waited.

I bought from them last night they are very helpful and extremely reasonable on prices! Great selection of everything with a wide span of choices! I bought all my Trump Supporter stuff from here! Massive selection of kites.....and lots of other things!!!

They had just what I was looking for (a 3D Shark kite) and were not at a loss for an appropriate pun for each stage of the shopping experience. The Raven wind vane,sic, display outside caught my eye and I purchased it, too before leaving the parking lot.

Walked in looked around to find the flag I wanted. Could not find what Iwas looking for asked the man that was working. He was checking out someone. He said he would be right with me. I waited a couple of minutes after the door closed and no help. So I decided to leave and he was upfront vaping. Not going back. Ordered what I wanted in 2 minutes on Amazon.

The gentleman who helped me was more than knowledgable and super friendly. I love my stunt kite that I bought! You really want to visit this store. Even if you are not into kites they have something for everyone.

I visited here to look at buying a two line kite after buying a four line and having trouble with it. A manager went outside with he and showed me setup and everything else I needed for the revolution kite I bought elsewhere. They were very helpful wish I had a similar place closer to my home.

The Proud American Infidel flag flying outside the store in North Myrtle Beach is too much and in very poor taste. Would a flag implying hatred of Jews, flying at a business, be acceptable? Of course not! I will not ever set foot in these stores again.
