My favorite local Costco. Not as crowded as the one in Edison or North Brunswick. Tried a wide range of products & services and havent been disappointed (gas, tire service, photo center). The snack food is also decent. Havent had abad experience there either. A great Costco location overall.

I have bought four sets of tires from this Costco tire center. I recently brought one of my cars in for a tire rotation. After waiting for 45 minutes I received a call stating that they cannot loosen my lug nuts and that they cannot rotate my tires for me. I have never heard of such a thing. They suggested I go to a dealership to have my lugnuts loosened so that they can rotate my tires. The dealership I bought my car from said they have never heard of such a thing either. Costco employees are the only people who have ever touched these tires. When asked how it is possible they cannot loosen the lug nuts, when they are the ones who last touched them and therefore tightened them this far, I was told that they cannot comment on that. I cannot fathom how they can tighten them so much that they cannot loosen them the next visit. I am extremely dissatisfied and will be purchasing tires elsewhere in the future.

The store was a bit messy, and this was the first time ever experiencing such mess. Also, the fruits were not appealing at all. And that is also a first.There was a customer standing on the line, without a mask and coughing - a lot! As patrons began looking his way, he yelled Dont worry. I dont have the China disease.If you ask me, theres a lot more contagious elements in the world beyond Covid-19 and the viruses are human beings.I wish Management would do a better job, like they use to, enforcing sage and clean environments for their patrons.Thank you.

Costco has excellent product selection and customer service. This Costco is no different in that regard. Its less crowded than the Costcos in Edison and Union, but the linear layout of the parking lot means a long walk from your parking spot to the entrance on most days. One thing I dont understand about Costco is how, even on weekday afternoons with very few shoppers, theres invariably a line for checkout. Even self-checkout always has a line. Theres no mobile scan and go option. Another issue I have is that most of their in-store products either dont show up online at all, or show up with heavily inflated pricing. Costco wants you to drive to the store, but then they want you to spend half your time there standing in line. But regardless of all my whining, I love the product selection there, so I just keep taking the punishment anyway.

This Costco location is a great benefit to our community. Another one stop wholesale supplier which is perfect as we can now compare prices.This location is very busy however dont let the crowded parking lot fool you as the customer service is exceptional and the lines if any move fast.

Everything you need in one place. Available in bulk. Just as tempting as shopping at Target. Walk in with intentions to buy one item and walk out with other items you werent even originally thinking about buying. Clean, nice staff, and quality products! 👌🏾

Shopped here several times. I mostly go in for the snack bar while traveling through this area. Its takeout only. They are doing their best to keep everyone safe during this time. What I like the most is everyone is always so friendly. Even the receipt checkers tell you to have a great day and enjoy your food.Overall its like any other warehouse store. It tends to be crowded a lot. But you still get out in a swift amount of time. Just be aware some days there will be longer lines, it just comes with the territory. Happy shopping! 👍

Costco not only has unbeatable prices but also an extremely friendly staff. There is always someone willing to go above and beyond to help you out. Beware, they are very strict about their membership policy. If you as an individual do not have your own membership and card, you will not be able to shop!

Ordered Adult Multi Vitamins(ALIVE) on August 16th or so. Was informed via UPS Message on 21st August, that this would be delivered on Saturday, 22nd. Subsequently,, yet another message that it would be now delivered on Monday, 24th.On Monday 24th, a Envelope was stuck in my door by UPS, which was empty and not only that, it showed no sign of being interfered woth.I, promptly called UPS ref IZMIR, who out right declined to listen to my complaint, saying, I should take this up with COSTCO. which, I did., only to be on hold with your customer service department for nearly 75 minutes. Mind you, they had warned that a wait of 51 minutes was expected. Therefore, I went to your North Plainfield Location, where, (unfortunately I had forgotten wear a mask) to be told in rude no uncertain terms by a person, behind your refund/returns section, taht, I, should go home and get my mask, if I had to go into the store.This was totally surprising and annoying to say the least.. Fortunately, one of your associates,was kind enough to investigate and get a Front End Manager, Tony, who promised to get back to me by Thursday the Friday following being the latest.Well, since thenTony has never even bothered to call me back let alone give what the situation is.Today he tells me, that, for my FRUSTRATION< he will cancel the transaction refund my monies and give me $25:00 Cash Card. Frankly, I, do not need this condescending way of talk. I, am not looking for a settlement.I, am looking as what happened and would the order be filled.If the answer is no, then please let me know, so I may look at next course of action.Lastly, I regret having been a member of Costco, and I shall take necessary steps when the time for renewal comes.

I used buy at costco once a week and love the prepared meals like the green wraps and chicken. But I havent been buying the prepared meals for months because the people cooking the meals dont wear their face masks properly. Preparing food for many buyers with the face masks not covering their noses in the middle of a pandemic, honestly! This isnt a one-time thing, every Friday for the past two months or so I have checked if I could buy the chicken and green wraps again, but every time they arent wearing the face masks properly!

Since the pandemic it has really changed. Lines move faster. Much better than before. Workers have already been friendly.

Showed up with membership certificate through work. Had to endure hard sell on an upsell membership. Then person couldnt figure out how to process, kept telling me I never finished and had to pay her. Not impressed to start. Didnt get much better when I walked through the store. Prices are just OK. Selection is paltry. Going back to BJs. Better prices, better selection. Just better.

North Plainfield consistently has good stock of what I need, plus they are much less crowded/ busy on off hours than Union or East Hanover. However they have a much smaller selection of one off/seasonal items and not much in the way of ethnic foods that other locations seem to have. Also, they seem to rarely have as many marked down (the .97) items as other locations. In terms of getting in and out, its definitely my preferred location of the 3 that are closest to me.

Product line is good and above all management at this location is superb. They are always very helpful.

You cant even get a hello or even just a wave . They are rude and disrespectful. Mostly the gas station staff. So we dont go there anymore . So I saw a Disney toy was on sale. It had a sticker label on the item showed it is 16.99. After I checked out I found they charged me 29.99. I went to the customer service and he told me the cashier scanned the wrong barcode. He should scan the barcode on the label not the box. Then he took me to the register find someone else trying to adjust the difference for me. After a very long wait some one just came and asked me what I need for help. I told him and he said the label is wrong. And he can refund me if I don’t want it. His attitude was very bad. He acted like I was the one who put the wrong label. The whole process took me almost half hour. But I didn’t get the price adjust. If they told me label price was wrong I wouldn’t waste of my time to wait. AND IT IS YOUR FAULT TO PUT A WRONG LABRL NOT MINE. WORST WORST COSTCO CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER.

I love going to Costco, and I go there on a weekly basis. But since the pandemics, I stopped buying their prepared food. The person inside the kitchen does not wear the face mask properly. Her nose is not covered. Please Costco, make your employees respect the rules for our safety!

MY MAIN STORE.....CHICKEN, LAMB CHOPS, POT ROAST, SALMON...THESE ARE MY FAVORITE THINGS..LA..DEE...DA..DA

Completely rude and I also felt profiled due to my ethnicity. One of many examples was upon exiting my wife and daughter presented the recipe to the employee checking the carts as she allowed my wife and daughter to walk by she abruptly stopped me and asked where was my recipe implying as if I were attempting to shoplift. My wife turned around and said the recipe you just checked clearly states all items were purchased. We bought two shopping carts worth of items. Also prior the register employee monitoring self checkout assisted and directed us to the cashier due to an error on the self checkout line. This employee which directed us politely took all items scanned and printed a unpaid recipe for the cashier to scan simplifying our shopping experience. The cashier at the register gave us a difficult time where as I called the employee which assisted us at the self checkout to clarify things. Also while walking in the store going down one aisle a customer clearly was not following aisle directions and rudely extended there arm multiple times disrespecting my personal space as they walked by portraying herself as special or above everyone else. Store was great yet some customers and employees are horrible.

The staff is unfriendly and unprofessional. The self check in was not disinfected and we waited for the staff member to clean it but she didn’t clean it. It was chaotic and when asked to clean or scan a large item, they were sarcastic and had an attitude.When leaving the place, the lady at check out lectured us by telling us we could only do to different transactions when in fact we were holding the receipt and staff for my mother who had surgery and could not push her cart herself.Costco should provide better training to their staff members, kindness can take you far, we are customers and because of our business you remain open, I shouldn’t have to deal with their unprofessional and sarcastic behavior. I’m sure there are professional and kind employees in Costco but the three or four rotten apples are making this place very unpleasant.
