I called to inquire about a haircut for my dog, as I have taken my dog here once for nail clipping and had a neutral experience. I was rudely told that they have no availability until next year. It is important to leave a review stating this because of all of the positive reviews it leads one to believe that this is a great fantastic place to get your dog groomed, however that is far from the truth as it is impossible to get your dog in.

This place is great. Everyone was so friendly. I am so happy I found Atomic Dog Pet Salon. They were awesome. We were in and out in no time. We will be taking our dog(s) regularly for sure!

Let me first say the Karens that put one or two star reviews because they couldnt get an appointment when they thought they should have one should be banned from reviews! This is a small business that the owners do an amazing job and work very hard to keep going! Rebecca and Rodger are the best! My corgi and yorkie love them, they do a fantastic job and because of that they are extremely busy. I totally trust them with my furbabies.

2021 update:I live down here part time now, still using this groomer and he is as good as ever. Looks like all the negative reviews are from people who have never even utilize their services. I don’t understand how you can leave a bad review just because a business isn’t accepting new clients.Get over yourself and move on, no point in hurting a small business.Old review:This is the best dog groomer that I’ve ever been to. He completely understands the dogs, their behavior, and knows how to handle them professionally. There’s no amount of money that you can put on that kind of service.

Dont even bother callingthey dont even try to accommodate you for an appointment. Even 2 to 3 weeks in advance, maybe you have to be exclusive or something.Seriously look for another groomer they wont help you.

I cannot day enough wonderful things about the Atomic Dog. I have taken my dogs here for 4 years and can’t imagine entrusting anyone else with them. They’re true animal people. They’re simply the BEST.

I take my dogs for nail trimming. They are so friendly and reasonable priced

This place is amazing. This is the only place that can do one of my dogs nails as he has always been afraid of having them done, my vet would give him prescription medication to try and calm him. He doesnt mind at all having them done here. Thank you atomic dog pet salon for being so kind to my 4 dogs.

Get my dogs nails clipped and they’re amazing. I mean amazing.I have a 95 lb baby who hates it when I do but does t mind at atomic dog.Ignore the 1 star reviews, “being too busy” isn’t a reason to give a bad review. Great place and busy for a reason.

This place is great! My little terrier is a flippy little energy ball getting his nails cut however now he finally sits still now at Atomic Dog. Thats saying a lot for my dog Bear so for me this shows how he is with animals

My golden goes once every 2 months for a bath, and shave down. He had a lot of anxiety in the past when going to a groomer UNTIL we started going to Atomic Dog with Becky & Roger a few yrs ago, he walks in wagging his tail, happy to see them and he leaves just as happy looking and smelling better of course. They dont take new clients because they arent taking on more then they can handle, thats actually considered good business practice. They love animals, treat them well, do a great job and we wouldnt take our sweet boy anywhere else around here EVER.

I guess Ill start a grooming service because its obviously very busy and profitable.I was told that they were not taking new customers. But then again, I said my dog was a Yorkie and after reading one of the reviews, perhaps they didnt want the aggravation of doing such a complex cut. So I suppose if youre not already a customer, or if you have a Yorkie, dont bother calling.

Very clean Salon equipped with a professional friendly staff. Grooming area is visible to the public behind glass wall. I heard you could also monitor via camera on line, however I was not in a position to do that while I was away. Reasonable rates and timely service. Cisco was very pleased with his new makeover, as was Dad!!!Butch Black

They always do a really great job of grooming my cocker. They are fast, on time and my dog has never had a problem after his appointment.. The owners are caring and friendly to my dog

YORKIE owners BEWARE!......do not use this salon. They do NOT know how to cut Yorkshire Terriers. They were supposed to shave the underside of my yorkie because the harness I was using caused excessive matting. I told the woman to make sure his face was cut into a cute style. When I picked him up, his entire body, legs, feet and FACE were shaved down to the skin!!! I was so shocked my entire body started shaking to the point where I almost passed out. When I inquired about it, the woman got very aggressive with me and then the man came out and they both ganged up on me and told me he had mats on his face. I told him he ABSOLUTELY DID NOT have mats on his face. I had just brushed his bangs and face out that morning!! They are the most unprofessional, angry people I have ever encountered. Please do NOT take your babies to them.

Take my Boxer here to have his nails done. They people here really do care about the animals they work on. Great place to go.

Atomic Dog is awesome !!Dogs are not caged, are well cared for and always kind to the animals. Becky and Rod are wonderful and I am happy to have found this great spot for my dogs.
