Ive used North Providence Tire for years on my person and work vehicles. They treat their customers right. Was recently in a squeeze and they were able to get me in fast and went above and beyond. Another time I thought I needed new brakes, was just a stick stuck in there real good. Some places may have taken advantage and charged for all new brakes, but these guys didnt and I was on my way in no time. They do a good job and run a honest company.

Hardly leave reviews but using my wife’s account since I don’t have one. I blew a rear tire yesterday morning on 146 and called these guys while the tow truck was hooking my truck up. They said absolutely no problem have the truck dropped off and we’ll get you tires hopefully by the end of the day. I turned down and oil change and tire rotation of the Chevy dealership, despite money off to go with North Providence Tire. They know how to treat returning customers and I have complete confidence of their work and fairness in pricing. Everyone should.

Im not a very social person and barely have free time, I had a great experience with north Providence tire n service center, everything went smoothly, my vehicle needed alot and they did it all in one day, I have so many doctor appointments for family that cant be rescheduled. I feel like they have enough customers that they dont really care about the new ones... very bad diagnosis ended up me paying 500+ for something that was not the real issue. I just found another auto repair much better in terms of customer service and reliability.

Called in and scheduled my 2010 SUV w 100k mi for an inspection. Needed a new exhaust and window wasnt working. Dropped it off, walked home, they call and tell me that I needed to take off bike rack if I wanted an inspection. Walked back, did that, then got a call next day confirming the exhaust, window, and inspection work. I arrived and the invoice stated;Inspection-$55, Exhaust-$275, Drivers window motor?-$210, $95 labor=$670 total.That same night I noticed my key fob lock not working. Tried to lock it from inside controller, not working. Called them and he said call back in 2 weeks and let me know if theres still a problem. I waited 2 weeks and was then told hes on vacation. So went back after, then told, We didnt touch anything electrical, the window controller was an easy plug to the door and couldnt have caused the lock problem.(Remember I was charged $210 for window motor but now hes contradicting himself saying it was just an easy controller plugin. A $30 part anyone can snap on.)I asked so key fob and locks worked before you had it and now it doesnt? They said You have an older car, anything could have happened but you need a new TIPM module @ $400+ Are you kidding me?!I just wanted an inspection. Now, locks dont work, cant use rear trunk hatch due to key fob not working, and have to come up with over $400 to fix it? What a nightmare. This place is thieving from people with the stroke of a pen and leaving you to pay for there mistakes. Crooks with NO ACCOUNTABILITY! This place will take advantage of you. Consider yourself warned.

Worst customer service ever. Employees DO NOT WEAR MASKS. Brought a tire in with a nail in it. They removed the nail and said everything is fine. They asked no questions. Rudhed me through the drop off. Told them over the phone that the tire was low on air in the morning. I Filled it with air to drive to the shop. They had the car for 7 hours!!! They did nothing to check the tires safety. When I called them on it politely they screamed at me in their lobby. Complete amateurs. No one should visit this place.

Great place! Went in for windshield wipers and the guy got them, put them on my car and drive my car to the front door without me even asking! The nicest workers and everyone that came in referred to the workers by name so seems like a reliable and trustworthy company!

Not professional. They dont wear masks. Paid $300 for evap leak, car came back with bad coolant leak it didnt have before. Guy laughed on the phone when I told him and said they can look at it, but said they know they did their job right. Dont go there, lack of respect and customer service.

I’ve been going to NP Tire & Auto for 15 years and I am fortunate to never have had an issue with them. I certainly don’t know a thing about cars, but they take the time to explain to me what’s going on, and allow me to make an informed decision before moving forward. I’m always happy with their work!

I originally rated this place 5 stars based on their quick service, timely responses and updates from my first time dealing with them. Unfortunately this second time, they have chosen to ignore customer concerns which resulted in me not having my vehicle for 2 and a half weeks with the necessary repair not being completed. I would not recommend this location, and highly suggest Melvins or another tire service if possible, or a local, independent mechanic with a proven record of quality customer service. Will not be back and can not recommend.

I brought my 2002 Toyota 4 Runner to North Providence Tire and Auto yesterday for 4 new tires and alignment. I highly recommend NP Tire&Auto for their professionalism and courtesy. I told Bob I needed 4 tires and he asked me if I wanted the same tires(on the truck) or new ones. I said please dont kill me on the price. So he suggested Goodyear Wrangler tires. They are awesome and give the truck a much better look. Always shop local!

Needed a tire repair for a slow leak for my wifes suv....turned out to be a nail in the tire. Sal had it done in no time and I was on my way. I have done business here for years...they are honest and dependable.

The guys at this shop are quick, efficient, and super friendly every time! They communicate prices, never try to force a repair that isnt needed, and always have the vehicle ready when they say they will!! Waiting area is comfy and accomidating!! Best shop in the area!!

These thieves tried to convince my elderly Father that he needed $1000+ in repairs to his car, and that it was unsafe to drive in its current condition.I stepped in and took the car to another shop and had the vehicle repaired and inspected for under $400.When I showed up and told them I was taking the car for a second opinion the counterman (Bob) became rude and borderline aggressive.I felt like I was dealing with a child whose toy I had taken away for bad behavior.NP Tire used to be a trustworthy respectable business. I dont know what happened, but I can tell you I definitely will not go back and I will never again recommend them to anyone..
