The menu selection is really good and the products they put out are delicious but like most businesses in Rhode Island, its the human aspect that is just straight up terrible. Asked for a Cinnamon raisin toasted with STRAWBERRY cream cheese at least 3 separate times to the same person and still received the wrong order. Then as Im waiting for my coffee, I was rudely approached by the manager and asked what I was doing to which I responded just waiting for my order which was responded with eyes rolling and a snicker. I wont be coming back even though the food is honestly pretty good.

What a great group of employees working to help run Providence Bagels. Today, the gentleman taking my order was so awesome!! He gave suggestions on my coffee and it tasted delicious!. This was my first time at any of the Providence Bagel locations. Everything was excellent from the customer service to the quality of the goods that were made. Defying made my day. The inside and outside of the building has a clean, modern look. The bagel flavor selection is endless, and the bagels themselves are tasty. They have a small selection of bakery treats a available. My wife tried a veggie style bagel, and I tried a breakfast bagel. Neither one of us were impressed with taste of the sandwiches. She commented, this would probably taste good with just cream cheese. It was something new to try, but the food experience was just so/so.

Im sure the bagels are fine. But when I ordered a bagel with cream cheese it came dry. I asked them to put cream cheese on it in 15 minutes later no bagel.. The absolute worst help ever. The employee at the counter had the deer has the deer in the headlights look. Everyone is surprised when a customer comes through the door! Not worth it! I left, no bagel.

Providence bagel never disappoints from the fresh cream cheese spreads, to the great bagels, sandwiches ( classic lox MY Fave) and sweet and efficient staff.I thank you for existing here in North Providence and must say its a blessing and definite upgrade to the community.

Its okay...the line was ridiculously long and I waited in it for about 20 minutes. Thats too long for me...I only ordered 2 bagels as is! I ordered a small orange juice for my daughter and it was more than $3. Eh...probably wont go back. I didnt see any difference between their bagels and the ones you can get at Shaws.

There is always such a long wait! Even for mobile orders, which you would think would cut down on your wait time.It should not take 25+ min to toast a bagel and throw some cream cheese in a bag. Their vegan cream cheese (both the plain and chive) are to-die-for, hence why I wait so long for a bagel

Not treenut and peanut allergy friendly at all, which was a surprise to me. First local bagel place in the country Ive been to t hat apparently is so haphazard and dirty in the back of house and counter that everything is cross contaminated and I couldnt even get a not toasted bagel and clean plain pre packaged cream cheese tub. Smelled great in there tho too bad.

Great food and coffee. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Their choices of bagels was great. I had the egg and bacon flavored bagel and it was delicious. Parking is limited so be patient and be prepared for a short wait for your food. I will definitely be back.

The bagels are good, dont get me wrong, but they are not worth sitting in the drive thru for half an hour. I was sixth in line and it took them 40 minutes to hand me six bagels and a thing of cream cheese.

This was a really good experience of quality food and good customer service. They have a very easy to follow menu options and great drinks. Very spacious and clean space. The food was fresh and delicious. I look forward to coming back again.

Love it! Get there early on weekends before they sellout of stuff. Coffee is a but strong for my taste but if you like that its very good. Bagels are amazing. Best baconeggandcheese around

Great RI Food Fight experience! Geniunely impressed by this small local chain! Im hoping they dont become too corporate; Im hoping they can stand strong with their current integrity towards food quality and customer service. Extremely satisfied and would highly reccomend. Food is good when its correct. Always check your bag before you leave. Be sure you have 30-40 min to waste waiting for an untoasted bagel before going there.

Totally rude Manager who threw us out for sitting at a table and eating there. There were NO SIGNS at all stating this. There WERE other tables with chairs turned upside down, but this table was not! The staff had been over THREE TIMES bringing Us coffee, tea, and our food and did not say anything. The Owners should give this Manager a course in Customer Service. There are far too many other places along Mineral Spring to spend our money than go back to this place!!!

Here in New England the morning ritual for many is to get coffee. When you open a business like Providence Bagel on Mineral Spring Ave., it can be a challenge. And a Providence Bagel not only met the challenge but exceeded it. The best service, the best variety of both bagels and cream cheese, and an amazing variety of coffee choices too! I had the everything bagel with chive cream cheese and the bagel arrived hot and fresh! Freshly baked onsite and worth just the drive for that, but the coffee was just as amazing and the drive through line was around the building for both! Waited in line at the drive thru for 15min to order an egg sandwich only to be told when I finally got to the speaker that they’re not doing egg sandwiches at the drive thru, which is totally fine but they could have put a sign up BEFORE the drive thru line announcing that fact. Their short sightedness is ridiculous. They could save their potential customers time and gas with a simple cardboard sign. I take pride in supporting my local businesses but there are other places to get a bagel sandwich in the area so I’ll be spending my money elsewhere instead.

Refuse to give my money to a business that tells me to have a mask on for the drive thru. Drove away, hope they made my order and wasted their inventory for nothing. Literally the only place Ive ever been told to wear a mask at the drive thru. I vote with my dollar and this place will never get my business even when covid is over. Place is a joke along with “Dr.” Fauci.

The parking is awful!!!! ( 3 stars) I got an iced coffee. Service and coffee was good ( 4 stars). They have flavored simple syrups such as blue cinn or maple.( 5 star) Also a variety of milk options including almond milk. Havent tried food but it looked delish! Prices seemed high for a bagel.

They have a great variety and the jalapeño cream cheese is out of this world!

Unfortunately this places quality has drop significantly. Ingredients for sandwiches has changed. I have always gotten The Great North which was AMAZING now the eggs felt like they we frozen and the sausage was totally different also got a blue berry bagel and it tasted like dough only. 9 times out of 10 there nitro coffee is out. Not sure what happened here but I guess when the pandemic hits you cut quality and in turn, you lose business . Such a shame. I loved this place but I don’t think I will be going back.

Overpriced, Onion Bagel w/cream cheese and a Medium Black coffee...$6.45. I asked for the Bagel toasted...it was burnt.

Their bagels are delicious! Id never had a bagel with maple syrup on it but now its my favorite one! Definitely try the Great Northern!

Love that they offer vegan cream cheese - cant find that in any other breakfast shops. The bagels are hands down the best bagels Ive ever had in my life. You can tell that they are hand-made and flavored masterfully. Yes, parking can be a little tricky, but its not enough to discourage anyone from coming back. Definitely going back for more!

I did an online order and did contactless pick up. The food was pretty good but I wish I checked my order before I got home. The bottom of my bagel sandwich was burnt black, and they forgot to add the bacon that I purchased extra for the sandwich. I was given only 5 bagels in my half dozen order. And the black nitro cold brew I ordered had extra cream. So overall pretty good food, better than dunkin but many issues with my order.

Food was good, a bit salty. Nothing more special than your average Dunkin. We came, saw and conquered but its not for us.

The food is usually great. And the people are nice. But the service has been so slow lately I just had to comment. I had over a half hour wait in the drive thru lately, where people were honking their horns in frustration. Then today I ordered on the app instead, it said 20-25 minutes. I show up 25 minutes later and was told they were backed up and they would start my order now. And at this point the drive thru wasn’t even backed up yet. I understand things are difficult, but the service is regressing for a business where it’s made to handle the covid situation easier. It’s upsetting and makes you want to just avoid them.

Great experience here. The food was fantastic and appropriately priced. The building itself was aesthetically pleasing and minimalist, and I thought the merchandise for sale was nice as well. There was also a good amount food and drink choices, without it being too overwhelming. The only problem I had was the parking lot. There arent enough spaces for the amount of tables in the restaurant.

Look, the business has good products, but the service and frantic looking staff and limited parking, not so much. Long wait times and then hurried orders dont make for a good experience. Hire more help in peak business times, upgrade /streamline processes to make more efficient. Makes me not want to come back. Happens pretty much every time I come here. Oh, I ordered the bagel pizza and a nitro cold brew coffee. I only get 1 or maybe 2 things. Maybe an express line?

Drive thru is always a mess, cars backed up all the way out onto the street because the service is so slow. I placed an order online hoping that would speed things up only to find out after 15 minutes of waiting that they did not have what I ordered so they CANCELLED the order without notifying me. Would have been nice to know that ahead of time rather than wasting my time waiting in the ridiculous line. To top it all off I was still charged for the cancelled order!! $20 for two egg sandwiches, absurd. It’s a shame that the service is terrible because the food (although overpriced) is actually good. Could be a really nice place if they got their act together.

I have only actually been to Providence Bagel twice but I actively follow them on social media because I love seeing the specials! Anyway, my husband and I went this morning to the North Providence location, which I had been looking forward to all morning. We ordered two bagels, coffee and donuts to take home with us, so a bunch of stuff. We get to the register and neither me or my husband had our wallets 😳 I was so embarrassed! (And also starving.) The woman at the counter talked to management and gave us our food anyway, which I thought was so nice of her - not many places now I feel like would do that! She told us not to worry about it, but we went home and came back and paid our $16 bill. She was so nice and said she felt bad that we came all the way back - we felt like it was the least we could do! Anyway, just wanted to call out this location for their kindness and we will most definitely be coming back! (Also the special pretzel bagel was delicious 👍🏻)

Good prices... many the cream cheese is a bit over board but I enjoy a plain toasted with turkey lettuce and cheese. For lunch... good price great portion size...

These bagels are definitely delicious! I ordered the cinnamon sugar bagel, but they had run out for the day, so I tired a plain bagel and it was soo good. I also tried a piece of the French Toast bagel and I can confirm that was good, too. I see what all of the excitement is about :-)

The cinnamon buns are bagels covered in bad cream cheese frosting. The coffee is overpriced but just as good as Cumberland Farms $1. The egg sandwiches are lackluster, no better than Dunkin. Classic Rhode Island.

Best bagels around, no argument. Personal fave: whole wheat everything with bacon scallion cream cheese. For something a little different but sweet: sunflower bagel with walnut cream cheese.

Drove 15min to Providence bagel, paid $15 for 3 bagels and when I got home and opened my bag they only gave me 1 bagel. Not worth the 30min round trip to go back. Not the only bagel shop in RI so they have lost my business. The customer needs to pay more attention to their order than the employees do.

I give every place I visit a 2nd shot if the first visit didnt go well not even going to bother with this one. Coffee didnt taste like anything i ordered a sausage, egg and cheese with bacon sandwich came out and lo and behold there was no sausage. I let the person at the counter know and instead of taking the sandwich and either remaking it or heating the meat and putting it in the sandwich for me like they should. What he did was come over with it on a plate expecting me to build my own sandwich.No thanks Ill pass and go to Such a Bagel in Smithfield Thanks

Nice place to grab a bagel sandwich and chill for a bit. Eastsider with corn beef and cole slaw on pumpernickel is especially good. No, its not the bagel youd get in the outer burroughs of NYC, but good enough. The drinks are overpriced, so 4 star not 5.
