This my second post re: this store. Most days the store us very busy. Many people use the self help registers. They are looking for help. The parking lot entrance and exit can be brutal. Its situated at 4 way stop. To enter there several ways of getting into this Property. The access is poor at best. No one follows the stop signs . The average drivers needs to say the Lords pray or a few Hail Marys. I say this. because their to much distraction. Many patrons are checking their phone or on them. People do not follow the rules of the road.VERY SCARY. THATs it. TY please think of the other person and yourself when enteringPEACE we all need it.

ANNOYED!! If the cashiers and baggers spent less time talking I wouldn’t have had to make an extra trip back to pick up groceries they were too busy to notice they didn’t put in my carriage. This was very inconvenient and By the way I tried to bag my own groceries and was told “no I got it”. I wonder why machines are taking place of actual people (SARCASM). I will use self checkout from now on, as a matter of fact I will just go to a different super market all together.

Its convenient and not too expensive for a supermarket. They do have good meat and seafood departments! Staff is pleasant, but not forced happy,which is nice.

I go here occasionally for things I forgot while doing main grocery shopping on the weekends or if I run out of something during the week. Most mainstream grocery items can be found here.. Produce, meats and dairy are usually fresh and good quality. The bakery does a good job customizing cakes and the pharmacy prices are sometimes the cheapest for the same prescriptions anywhere nearby. It is easy to get to on route 44, has sufficient parking, shared with other businesses in that location. I dont know the management staff, but the workers Ive interacted with have been pleasant. I occasionally use the Citizens Bank branch there because its the closest one to where I live. Overall, a good store, no complaints.

Always nice cashiers. Always fresh and when u hot the sales its worth it all. Love the fruit selection and cheese selection always yummy. The store is always stocked well and staff always have time to speak with you.

Condition of parking lot is horrible. I hit a pothole tonight and blew out my tire and messed my rim up. After not being able to get tire on due to bent rim I had to get car towed.

Always only one register open with a long line and no one to bag the groceries so the one cashier has to do everything. They have an attitude when you ask if they can open another register. Its not surprising that its always empty with the attitude and high prices. I found a huge grocery store in Attleboro just off the highway with cashiers and baggers and good prices.

Best selection, but higher prices on most items that are not on sale

I ordered my groceries online and they brought them out to my car. I have done this several times and my order was correct every time, the meat and produce was fresh aswell.

Fresh produce is heavily covered in mold. Mentioned to front desk and they didnt seem too concerned including one employee who laughed and said maybe a mouthful of it might be good

Its so unfortunate the changes they mad to the store. Half the stuff they used to carry they dont. All the vegan and organic stuffed is so mixed in you can never find it. They look like that spent a lot of money having planners and consultants re arrange the whole store.... they messed it up imo. I live right next door and drive to Lincoln now because its not worth going

The store has been remodeled, and it looks nice. They have online shopping and peapod. They have a wide selection of groceries at reasonable prices. The service is good.

They got rid of a lot of products I buy. The meat is ridiculous coming in cryovac packages. Seems to me they are going to get rid of a lot of meat cutters because all this meat is coming in from wherever.. its a total shame.

I hate that place prices are way too high

Much smaller now that they closed off a portion of it inside. Prices higher because of the new reno and demographic compared to Market Basket. Only one register open and self check out was full. Hire some more people full time and pay for bennies and you might keep your employees. MB has 25 checkouts open all day. I can see a change in S&S longevity soon. If a MB comes to say Lincoln off 116 its over for S&S markets.

One of the better Stop and Shop locations in the Providence area. Always well stocked and staffed.

Have too many people in a small space. I asked the clerk who was keeping a tally how many people were in the store at 2 20 pm on Saturday...224 I couldnt go to a family member outdoor funeral because you were restricted to just 15 people, so I guess the family should have used Stop n Shop instead of the funeral palor!!

Nice store but I’m giving it only 2 stars because we went there for hot foods and all their hot foods was over 4 hours old didn’t taste good at all and I wouldn’t go back for hot foods . You get fresher food at Cumberland farms

I really love Stop&shop the food is always fresh the service is great, the only floor that I am really upset with as I have recently gone there for a job and because I have a background on my BCI that is 20 years old I was refused a job, this is not the only place that has done this it’s very upsetting to me considering that people need a second chance, without second chances for someone like me in recovery I’ll never be able to climb the ladder of success or become a regular part of society because I am treated like an outcast. When you’re young and growing up you make mistakes but I learned from my mistakes became a much better person but still being punished 20 years after the fact it’s very upsetting, I truly believe that people need a second chance I think Stop&shop needs to look At that

An awful place to work for. The managers belittle their employees to the point where they feel uncomfortable. NO action is taken when going to management about this issue. DO NOT WORK HERE! The managers will just sit around and talk about you all day, especially Diane.

The North Providence stop & shop is a great place to shop. Produce is always fresh, they have great sales and other personnel are extremely helpful. The store is always clean and the registers are always well staffed.

Clean store, stocked shelves, unfortunately at time of purchase there was only one register with a loving, living cashier. Only other option was to utilize self checkout.

Good value, quality and quantity

Arrived around 9:30 am and store wasnt packed with people. The women holding down the deli section were very friendly and helped facilitate the social distancing of that area when a grumpy patron totally disregarded it. I appreciated them taking the lead in a respectful manner.

Im not sure how a post COVID universe is any excuse to return to contributing pounds of plastic waste into the environment, even after Rhode Island implemented a ban on plastic bags in stores. For people who care, you CAN request paper bags, and you CAN use your green bags if you bag your own items. Shame on the management for this location.

I enjoy shopping here. Has a good selection of produce and natural to organic products. Although it can grow in the vegan selections. Still, it offers just about all you need for groceries and bake goods. Prices are higher than a smaller chain but quality is good and convenience. Staff here are friendly which i nice.

Its close by and carries most of the products I shop for. Just be careful about buying off brand hand sanitizer. They were selling a brand labeled as being made in Mexico. The FDA has issued a warning about methanol containing hand sanitizers manufactured in Mexico. The brand in the store was not made by Eskbiochem but why take a chance?

The deli and the cashier were great asking somebody in the aisles for help is a little bit hectic they dont seem to want to answer your questions from the store clean have been shopping there for same location for about 15 to 20 years

The bag girl almost forgot to add one of my bags to my cart. She wasnt paying attention.

At the mineral st. stop and shop, Terrible experience in stop and shop. There wasnt any workers on the floor to help to ask question. They use to have a booth in between the cash register at least you were able to ask question there. The 2 associates that were very helpful were a young gentlemen with black hair at the meat market helped me with a ham and a friendly cashier named Joe to end the experience. Probably will go to west river stop and shop or manton.

They are not enforcing face coverings, number of customers in the store, or one way aisle requirement during pandemic. Limits on food is understandable but at this store they are very vague. limit 2 per customer posted everywhere but no idea what they are referring to

Make sure that some of the work at Stop & Shop respect the customers so it would be stress-free shopping. Usually its the younger generation they need to have more values respect. And upper management should pay more attention to the work is at Stop & Shop PS This is not everybody in there. You do have some good workers but you need to clean house or retrain this is my opinion as a customer because if its not a good environment I shop at somewhere else which is Shaws the environment is a little bit better over there not perfect but better this is my opinion and thank you for giving me the opportunity to give it to you to who it may concern have a pleasant day thank you

I used to like this store a lot more. Lately, they seem to be carrying fewer vegan protein products, which is really disappointing bc it means having to go to Whole Foods or Trader Joes for everything. It was so convenient when S&S had these items, as their hours/parking are better.

Stop &shop is a very good place to shop for wallets of all sizes. They carry the best foods for the higher price client.and they also have the white box off brand for the less fortunate. I would suggest stop&shop to everyone.
