I bought my first motorcycle, a dual sport, here in April and I couldnt be happier. The guys that work the front desk, the mechanics, and the owner all know what theyre doing and provide excellent customer service. They were able to listen to the problems and concerns I had with my bike and fixed them. Even with covid issues, backorders, the shop being busy, etc, they were able to help me out and get me back on the road. The shop guys also have provided me with some good tips on riding and where to ride. North Reading Motorsports knows how to sell fun. Theyve been doing this for a long time which made me feel even more comfortable buying my bike, getting it serviced, and repaired here. Especially these days, its nice to have a shop with good people you can trust.I saw a couple guys picking up a side by side today, owner helped them load it up on their trailer, when are you going to get yours? Also, some pretty looking groms in the store right now...

Anyone needing good metric bike service, THIS IS YOUR PLACE. Had a mystery issue on a Vulcan cruiser, and they were the only place willing and/or able to find it. Brought my bike back to life! Super good crew, actively communicating, honest, great technicians, and fair pricing. When you wish you had a guy or knew someone, now you do.

I got a great deal on a snowblower. The owner was easy to talk to and very knowledgeable. He gave me a complete overview of the machines workings, filled it with oil and gasoline. I would recommend doing business here.

Had a state inspection on my 03 softail deuce and had a nice conversation with John the tech.Very knowledgeable on all aspects of any motorcycle and even went out of his way to get me a quote to mount and balance 2 new tires. I bought a XR-600 many years ago. I turned my ankle trying to kick start it, never wanted to see that kick starter again. The owner kindly took the bike back and I got a KDX200, and it was the best tuned KDX of all bikes of my buddies, that is why I am going back today to get a new bike

Have to share details of my experience with this shop. I bought two jet skis this year. One of them was struggling, running rough. I gave them a call. The service tech was honest. It would be a while before he could take a look at it. Instead of blowing me off, he tried to help me troubleshoot over the phone. I tried the things he suggested with no luck. I finally pulled the plugs to find one stripped. So, I called again. Now, being later in the season, they could squeeze me in. Took care of it in short order for a very reasonable price.I would highly recommend these guys. Given discussions with the previous owner, we believe this was stripped by another dealership (I wont name names) when winterizing it last year. Those guys wanted nothing to do with me. Not only would they not stand behind their work, but they wouldnt even squeeze me in to see if they could take care of it. The guys at North Reading Motorsports took more ownership of getting this fixed so I could enjoy the rest of the season than the shop that was likely the cause.

Been going to NRM for the past 6-7 years for basic services and inspection stickers and John at the parts counter is always friendly and you can tell he enjoys riding as much as his customers. Bought a new 2019 CRF450L from Fred and was a good experience as well. I wanted the stock DOT tires changed to pure off road tires. Got the bike prepped and ready to go with the parts I requested within a couple hours. I recommend these guys. I only had 1 negative experience where I wanted a rear tire installed and the tech called to tell me the tire I brought had a hole in it so he wouldnt install it. He reinstalled my old tire and charged me for the full install. While that makes sense my problem was that he chipped off several sections of paint on my rear rim of my 2011 Night Rod Special.

John the parts manager is great, always gives me a heads up on parts, gear and great prices. Johnny has built all my MX Race bikes and preps them all for me. 0 stars. I call at 1 pm and explain my type of jet ski and my problem. COME ON DOWN they say. 2 pm I arrive and call and tell the next person my jet ski type and problem. He says they will not attempt to look at or service. I just drove here 1 hour for nothing.There is a great mechanic in Amesbury. Precision power sports. Go to these people. Never any BS. Very direct. If he wasn’t on vacation this week I would never have wasted anybody his time. These people are NSD people here. Thumbs down.

Excellent service! My snow blower would not start so I called North Reading Motosports and they picked it up within a few hours, fixed it within 24 hours, dropped it back off before the upcoming snow storm and also spent time explaining exactly what was done, how to best use it going forward. Sean from this company was who I dealt with was great - 5 stars for this company!

Took my bike in for an inspection. Shawn was great, very nice and pointed out a few things that could become future issues...with NO Pressure. Didnt talk down to me as many place do to women riders.Cant speak for sales. Wish there was a better helmet selection.

I didnt buy a bike, but I checked a few out, no sales pressure, fred is a really big Kawasaki enthusiast, incredibly knowledgeable. Was a nice place to browse. They had a good amount of Kawasaki and Honda bikes on hand, prices seem competitive.Update. I bought the bike. Easiest vehicle purchase Ive ever made. When I want another, or need parts, I will be back.

I wanted lights and lots of them on my Goldwing. Guy told me it would look cheesy. Plus, Goldie came back dirtier than she was when I dropped her off. The other work performed was class A. Brakes etc.

Spoke to Freddy today about the Kawasaki ZX6R, he answered all my questions and was very helpful.

I went in asking about an inspection and new tires. Guy told me better off doing at the same time, so I order and made a deposit on the tires. 1 month later and multiple phone call, of back order and no stock and etc excuses, It finally came in. I was told it will take only a day to do the service and I can pick it up next day. 4 days later, bike hasnt been looked at yet. Finally when it was done, my bike wont start, most likely due to the fact that they had the key on on position and left it there for so many day. I would not return here.

Tried to schedule motorcycle oil change with some Boston area shop. They were to schedule me three weeks later and charge a hefty fee for their full package, including putting air in the tires and various other nonsense even I can do. Come North Reading Motorsports: scheduled me to the next day, very reasonable charges, professional work and the nicest people ever. Highly recommended.

My go to bike shop

I just recently bought an old Kawasaki and these guys were the best. The owner/manager was so great answering all my questions and directed me to the right oil. I didnt get shunned for being a owner who works on his own bike or get treated like an idiot. The prices on every bike in the shop were way cheaper than anyplace around. Dont even go to cycles 128 or parkway. These parts guys know their stuff and will help you find parts, unlike the above parts depts. A+ for prices and parts availability. Selection isnt huge as its a small place but they have all the cool bikes you want and arent trying to sell you a model you otherwise wouldnt be interested in. Thanks again. Great experience and I only wanted to buy oil.

I needed proof that the muffler on my motorcycle was stock, and unaltered. Since I had done my previous motorcycle state inspection with North Reading Motorsports, I took it to them just to see what they had to say. Frederick (I believe he is the owner) took a look at the muffler and wrote up a letter stating that it was indeed stock. That was nice of him since I hadnt even asked for a letter. I appreciate him going out of his way in providing such a letter.Compare this with Greater Boston Motorsports at Arlington from whom I had purchased my motorcycle. Since I had bought the motorcycle from them, I asked them for a letter stating that the muffler was stock when they sold it to me. They said they didnt want to take any liability and redirected me to the motorcycle manufacturer! Nice after sales customer service!

I called a while back looking for a Snow blower tune up. The Website says they pick up and google maps shows my house is 5 miles away. I dont mind paying a fee for pickup. The person on the phone was not the most friendly and I was basically told if I didnt buy the snow blower there they were not interested in servicing my snow blower. I said My snow blower is only a couple of years old but they were not interested.

You can count on their service team to locate and fix the problem on pretty much anything(the first time) from waverunners to street bikes. Been bringing both here and I always leave confident. I’ve had problems at other shops with repairs, which is now why I only go to Kawasaki North Reading Motorsports.

Great people and inventory. Expert advice.

Called them on a friday afternoon to get a flat tube replaced. The mechanic told me he could have it done Saturday morning but upon hearing that I had a ride planned and was going to do it myself, he was concerned that I would scratch up my rim so he replaced it for me that night. This is definitely the kind of shop I want my bikes serviced at.

This place is horrible. Not only is there 0 room on their tiny showroom floor but they have 20 snowblowers crammed in so you cant even get to see anything. Sales guy just stands at the parts counter looking stupid and talking to his buddy. How they stay open is a freaking miracle.
