The employees are the best..especially the meat dept.!! Lots of prepared food too. Clean..great place to shopπ€ π
In the morning very very slow staff. I needed to get to work and they had 2 registers open. One cashier got 4 people done while I sat behind ONE. Turn your self checkouts on first thing in the morning so we dont have to deal with slow cashiers, thanks
Really great service and good food. The special egg rolls (corn beef) very good.
This Giant Eagle hot foods is the worst in the area! They never have food during lunch time, when I was able to get some Mac and cheese it was really runny. I dont understand why they dont have food ready and cant make it right when the same person is there everyday.
Checkout times are terrible. Never enough lanes open. At least 1 self checkout is always out of order. Why only 3 self checkouts anyways. If your not going to open the other lanes, make them self checkout.
Nice store just small.
The produce doesnt last. Got some whole carrots 3 days ago. Already started to mold! Same with alot of fruits I purchase. I get only a couple days out of them before going moldy
Great selections, fair prices, need more check out people.
My first visit to Giant Eagle. Staff member at deli counter was friendly and knowledgeable about product. Store staff helpful in finding product.Self checkout wasnt working, but the cashier was very nice.
Giant Eagle has the best prices in town when it comes to shopping grocery shopping it has great employment opportunities and has a great staff.
Always great shopping at giant eagle..
Why were there people not wearing a mask today? I thought that didnt take effect till June 2nd??!! All the signs were posted to wear a mask! No body was telling them them to put it on??
Large selection and great meat counter..
Pharmacy people can be a little snappy at times but store is always well stocked
Pharmacy staff are amazing! 5 stars for Pharmacy staff and most store staff members!! Store prices are a bit high on some items, so I had to give 4 stars.
Love it and if you want the best deals get a giant eagle card.
Sorry customer service if you dont like your job and dealing with the public you should probably find a new job
Very nice staff only issue there is you canβt FaceTime your wife in there no service. Hope I bought the right stuff.
Got everything I needed with no problem!
Giant eagle is one of my favorite grocery stores, they are clean, well stocked, and have a great selection. This store does only have 1 set of public restrooms though.
I use to visit Giant Eagle regularly, but the one in Ridgeville has been very disappointing lately. I have gone multiple times where the shelves were bare. And certain items I purchase regularly have not been restocked.
Great shopping experience- my cashier Craig was very helpful
Love giant eagle!!! Always have exactly what Im looking for. Keep up the great work guys!!
They have a clearance section that has uncommon products marked down a little, but they should add more common merchandise once in awhile so consumers think they are getting a deal. Because of COVID, they discontinued the kids treat membership, which only costs a dollar but thatβs no longer available. Bummer
Love it. More small carts.
They do a great job keeping the shelves stocked, and their pharmacy is the best!
Im not a fan of this location. The store is smaller than other g.e.No sushi station, meat country was closed at 5:30. Inside is dark and dreary.
Prices higher than other stores in area. But they carry more stock.
The prices are high and the people in the deli are snotty. They dont seem to want to wait on you.
Poor selection, old food, and incompetent cashiers.
Good store shelves are always stocked customer service is excellent Jennifer and the pharmacy is so nice cashiers get you in and out quickly five stars
The young man, and lady working in the Deli were very helpful, attentive, and friendly.
This store truly never had anything twice in a row. Today it was chicken livers, before it was backs, and this goes back years, not just during the pandemic.
I did not go to giant eagle i was in the same parking lot but not there. I would not shop at Giant Eagle if it where the last grocery store on thr planet there prices are to high many other options.
Got my flu shot.. People at the pharmacy were very nice. The pharmacist was great.
Went in to have a nice grocery list and when I went to go pay the guy at the register kept $22 so I had to tell him that he owed me more than what he gave me that experience will never go back again
Clean, smaller giant eagle. Prices are typical: high. But besides that relatively friendly employees and great food.
It was busy but had what I was looking for.
Good grocery store. Plenty of options in a variety of prices. I was looking for frozen meals and found things Ive not seen anywhere else. Road construction in the area is making getting to the store a bit tough. But this is easily one of the best Giant Eagle locations in the area.
Love this place because they have GLUTEN FREE OAT MEAL! AND GLUTEN FREE WHITE CHOCOLATE!!!
Clean and I am in and out of line quickly. In the back by restrooms is a decent sized reduced and clearance area.. Very helpful pharmacy staff...
Not organizedJust messyHard to find anything
Its expensive with a limited selection at the north ridgeville location, but sometimes theyre just the only place to get some items and they will have good sales
The Giant Eagle in N. Ridgeville is sub-par compared to other G.E stores.
Go here to buy food, they have all kinds of it.
Great store
Smaller store, seemed well stocked, not too busy at 8 p.m.
Great selection in food and drinks.
Like many places, the fear of the virus has transformed what was once a delightful experience into a necessary one. Instead of treating a customer like an appreciated convience, now you are treated as a virus ladened mess of necessary inconvenience that must be quickly removed.
I try to avoid coming to Giant Eagle for anything but items I cant get elsewhere - which, thankfully, isnt much. Prices on all their items arent particularly competitive - The new perks program simulates a better bargain with the ability to use redeemed points on a grocery bill discount, but when you do the math, what you actually get back per dollar throughout the perks accrual and redemption process is only a few cents on the dollar. Factoring in the higher prices easily offsets the meager difference the points program makes. To be fair though, they do occasionally have weekly sale items which are worth checking out.Another lousy fact about this location, is that their customer service counter shuts down two hours before the store itself closes. So if you arrive in the evening and have any special needs (returns included) - you are out of luck. The last time I came here for a product (which I had bought there many times before), they had stopped carrying it. I found another retailer for the item and now make a point to visit them for the specialties. The only reason I come to Giant Eagle now is for the gift cards, which I buy to accumulate perks for free gas.The new perks+ program is slightly different than the old program, but in a nutshell... nothing has really changed from the earn free gas perspective - it still takes $50 worth of purchases to get $.10 in fuel discounts, which can be redeemed on up to 30 gallons of gas. To maximize the rewards, I always redeem my discounts when filling up from a nearly empty tank with some gas cans, to use the full 30 gallons of discounted fuel. When doing the math, the perks net the equivalent of getting 6% off the price of the gift cards ($100 of purchases earns $.20 off of up to 30 gallons - or $6 in fuel discounts - if you dont use the full 30 gallons, the total discount goes down). When using a rewards credit card to buy the gift cards, that just compounds, especially since many rewards credit cards have a higher rewards yield at grocery stores or gas stations (where you can buy the gift cards). So that adds another couple percent; getting gift cards here is like getting an 8% discount on the face value of the gift card. So as you can see, hard to give that up - so long as that program continues, anyway. And that is why I keep coming to this place.
My grocery store is neat and clean. Prices are fair, they have a great pharmacy team, the layout stays predictable and I can get in and out quickly. Employees are friendly and helpful at all times. Because of all these things, I rarely shop anywhere else.
Worst prepared food area. But for first time today I got through checkout fast. Usually long lines. They also seem to have baggers more often. I used to bag my own. Not the store I choose for a big shopping day but for a couple things...ok. general impression is old, dated and not clean.
Very clean, excellent bakery and deli staff with good selection of italian meats. Older building but their staff is professional. Excellent bourbon selection!!
Great service
Always fresh produce. Tryed their new hand price scanner. Looks like a great option if you bring your own bags, but unsure how this would mitigate theft. I little confusing at first and the touch screen is more of a suggestion. Another step towards eliminating cashiers but for me, self checkouts are the limit especially when I usually only buy 3-4 items for that nights dinner.
I Really enjoy shopping at this Store....
At the end of an interaction the Saturday AM before Memorial Day, I told Cameron, the customer service representative, that I was going to take my business elsewhere. He shrugged and replied go ahead. I was loyal to Giant Eagle and this location in particular until that exact moment.I called to let management know what happened. They did not ask for my name or phone number to follow up with me. I do hope the people who work in produce, the bakery, deli, and meat counter who know me and my children by site (due to our shopping frequency) and are always pleasant, helpful, and personable are able to maintain their livelihoods as Giant Eagle loses loyal customers due to inept and rude customer service.Unrelated, the cakes are extremely overpriced and not all that tasty (though the bakery staff are outstanding). Costco is the best place to go for a sheet cake.
Clean, fresh produce. There is more selection produce at North Olmsted, so depends on your needs.i generally shop here . Friendly, helpful Pharmacy staff
Great in and out quickly
Good store. It is a giant eagle.
They are trying to keep up with demand, but arent being resupplied like they used to be.... Way of the new world I guess
Great market. Very good selection, clean, well maintained. Their loyalty program is good as well. The gas savings was awesome!
They have everything here!
Went to liquor store only. Groceries to expensive .
Went with someone who was shopping that day. Store clean. Help friendly. Big selection of different foods
Different layout from any other Giant Eagle Ive been to, but still a logical order of aisles. Never real busy which is awesome and fairly clean. Employees demeanor varies from friendly to cold and quiet.
Love it. No place like hometown GE
Easy to find what youre looking for.
I usually only go to giant eagle because they are the only game in town when it comes to state liquor stores in our area.It would be nice if they had a dedicated entrance / exit for the state store so I didnt have to make my way through the entire store just to get to where I want to go.
Come here all the time to get my seltzer water. Great store! Their frozen meals can be good deals sometimes, too.
Clean, friendly staff
They have a liquor store
This is my Giant Eagle. I like it alright. I havent had a single problem with it (except for the bathroom. Bathroom is gross. Always.) I wish it sold fresh sushi and stayed open 24/7. I have to run out to Great Northern /N. Olmsted once they close.
The young man working the hot food counter was very helpful
Good people.
Well maintained and clean. Friendly staff
Small Giant Eagle, but clean and organized. The also have the Scan and Go, which is an amazingly quick way to get in and out quick if you only need a couple things.
Always a great experience!!!
Can find stuff that I cant find elsewhere.
Giant Eagle is expensive but some prices are lower.
Easy to get. Every clean and helpful.
This Giant Eagle has the worse rust bucket wobble wheeled carts ever. When is management going to get some new carts! Some of them dont even have the plastic cover over the hand rail. Its a smaller store so they dont offer a good variety and run out quickly. Staff has always been helpful and friendly though.
When I first came into the store GE has a new self checkout . there was no one to teach anyone how to use the system, I did my shopping then asked a very nice young man who help me and Im greatful his help.
Giant Eagle in North Ridgeville is a relatively newly renovated store. It has a pharmacy, Huntington Bank, and State liquor store inside. Like all GEs, when they have a sale, it is worth shopping there. Recently, the company has dropped prices on everyday items, as well. Nice clean place to shop.
Nice and clean store
Nice Giant Eagle, friendly staff. Beer selection isnt so great.
My mom came through Jennas line a couple days ago, and she wanted me to comment about her experience here. She says: she was so nice, when I walked up she said hello and asked how I was right away! She made friendly conversation and didnt rush me even though I had a huge 500$ order. Andrew (she thinks his name is) bagged my groceries and made sure things were bagged together correctly. Very personal kid. She rang my stack of coupons and didnt act upset from it. When done, they helped me load my groceries in my cart as well and being old it helps my body. She said she will remain shopping at this one even though she lives in North Olmstead. Thanks for a great experience.
I shop at Giant Eagle at least two to three times a week the crew are always very helpful helping me find something if I cant do it on my own and telling me about specials that I may not know about I go to your store more than any other store when it comes to my major grocery shopping the fuel perks were definite perk as well
This store is a great place for all of your grocery shopping needs. The bakery has a fine selection of goods that will satisfy your sweet tooth.
Great time here
A Giant Eagle like any other Giant Eagle
Produce is subpar and overpriced. Exampl, 2 pineapples one wasoverripe, the other was rotten.
Shop there all the time. Great meat and fish. Good deals.
Good shopping market...prices a little higher then most places...but at least they have the fuel perks!
Always fully stocked. They have some of the freshest produce around.
A good place to shop. Aisles can be a bit cramped with all the displays but overall a good shopping experience.
The store itself is clean and workers are friendly. The produce, meat and fish are, in my opinion, not fresh at all. I have actually witnessed the produce department touching/organizing fruit that was definitely beyond expiration. I have seen potatoes that are growing eyes. I purchased salmon that actually reeked when I brought it home (I was told by the fish clerk to make sure I cook it that night). This store is the closest to my home but I try to avoid it for anything fresh and now go to Marcs or Walmart for most meat/produce. I wish they would step it up, I would shop there if they made sure their items were consistently fresh. Also, if you are spending over $200 you shouldnt have to be bagging all your groceries, that is always the case.
Poorly managed, frequent changes in stock, poor international variety. Other locations are far superior.
