I want to thank ILC Travel Outfitters for providing such a great service. They have repaired a bag for me twice now, and every time I come in, I am greeted with sincere and pleasant staff. They made a point to get my bag repaired in just two days because I was flying out on the following Monday. They certainly didn’t have to do it, but it was very kind of them and much appreciated!

While on a business trip in Salt Lake City, my Briggs and Riley carry-on luggage had some loose screws and general wear and tear. I was pleased to discover that there was a repair centre in Salt Lake City. I was mostly impressed with their fantastic customer service. Becky was the most helpful and knowledgable staff member that I had ever encountered in the industry. Her intuition and understanding of business travelers, especially female business travelers, was impeccable! I ended up buying a brand new set, as she was able to competently explained to me all of the great features, and confirmed all I needed based on my personal must haves. She was super attentive and on top of her game. I was so impressed!

My wife and I found this gem while looking for a replacement for my travel backpack. They were extremely helpful and we ended up making some modifications to my backpack to resolve the problems I had with it. They made the modifications while we were there and we found several other travel items that we needed. Their travel IQ is excellent, they had answers for several issues that have plagued me when I travel. Easily 5 stars!

I had a New piece of luggage that the Zipper broke on our first flight it was used. Needed to use it the following week. We called ILC Travel Outfitters because we have seen there store driving down the street all the time, Becky told us to bring it in and they will see what they can do. They were able to fix it why I was there! I had an older luggage that I brought with me that the handle was broken. I was just gonna leave that one with them but they fixed it too while I was there. I wasn’t there for more than 10-15 mins. It gave me a chance to look around there store. If you are in need for gear to travel this is the place to get it. They had everything you could think of and couldn’t think of. I would definitely go back to ILC Travel Outfitters. Their friendly customer service is superb!

Excellent customer service and response to an unexpected zipper failer on my only piece of luggage on a week long trip. Mark amazingly fixed the zipper and worked into the evening so I had the next morning before my flight. It saved me from buying a new piece of luggage. Thanks again, highly appreciated!

If you are crew do not buy from here. Only had 4 months and they charge to fix it.And all the zippers broke on the bag.Not recommend at all

This is the store for you. I have NEVER seen so many travel size and items you never knew you might need in 1 store. I went there for a inflatable travel pillow I couldnt find more than 1 in the entire Salt Lake Valley. Everything is Amazon. But i like to see construction and material. Plus the fact they know the difference. I always saw the Missionary store sign ad forgot about the travel side. After my trip i took my suitcase back to replace a wheel and zipper tag. They close at 5pm during the week. but will try and go on a saturday to pick it up just to look around... The staff couldnt be any nicer. I need a good carry on bag and will definitely get it there. They do not come up if looking on search for items everything is directed to Amazon.... But it like to see things before buying. You could go to REI for double the price for some things... but would they know anything about what you were buying.Think outside the box when looking instead of going straight to Amazon...

Mark is extremely knowledgeable, and has a lot of experience in the travel industry. He helped me figure out what I need to begin my career as a flight attendant, and he went above and beyond to help me get it. Thank you Mark!

These guys are amazing. I called at 2:30 p.m. with a hard shell suitcase with a broken wheel. They told me to come. I got there at 3 p.m., one hour before they closed. The wheel socket was destroyed, but they drilled a hole next to it and installed the wheel in half an hour! The suitcase rolls better than before. And they did this during their busiest day of the week. In the Salt Lake area, this is the only travel store you need to visit. And these days, hardly any place will repair a suitcase like that for you and for a great price too

Was there earlier this year looking for a better suit case. I was tired of buying low grade luggage that kept lasting no more that a few months of traveling every week. I went to ILC Travel Outfitters after look around SLC for a well built suit case and someone that could help me with my all my questions. This place was not only knowledgeable and very helpful they showed me how to better pack all my clothes in a way that it was so much easier and faster to unpack. I could fit more and with less wrinkles. I bought a new suit case (more expensive than Wal-Mart brands) and came with life time warranty and more durable. Its been about 7 months and my carry on suit case is still holding strong. I can carry it on pack it full and check it in and it is still intact after the abuse of airport luggage handlers. I recommend this store not only for LDS supplies but for all your traveling needs from luggage to neck pillows to all carry on needs. I will be back again to buy more traveling necessities and more traveling tips. Thanks again for your help.

I would pay extra for this service but their prices are always the best in town as wellOne of my favorite interactions just happened. I had purchased and left the store with a laptop briefcase. (Briggs & Riley). They suggested the grey color as it was on sale. After the purchase I left the store and only then noticed a leather plate for initials.I went back in and asked if they put my initials on. “Sure, give us ten minutes”. I went back to my car to wait. Ten minutes later it’s perfect and try as I might they won’t let me pay them for the extra service.You just don’t get this kind of experience today. This is the only place you should go for your luggage, travel needs.

Great selection of travel supplies and gadgets. Staff knows what they are doing. They repair luggage too, so they know what breaks and what survives. Not hard to find and plenty of parking.

I walked in and was immediately impressed by the range and quality of the items in this store. I personally was looking for the foot balance machine that helps make custom insoles for painful feet and legs. It was easy to use and the employee was extremely helpful and easy to talk to. She made sure I understood every step of the process and made me feel comfortable and confident in my purchase. Ive had the insoles a few days and already the difference is astounding! I have been coming to ILC Travel Outfitters for years to service my Briggs and Riley bags. They are quick and reasonably priced. They have wonderful items for travel and are knowledgeable about various destinations. In fact, I have moved to Tennessee and wait until I have to travel back to Utah to get my bags serviced!

This place is absolutely fantastic, they can take care of all of your fears or concerns you might have about going on a mission and they really care about you and your success. They also have the most amazing shoe insoles custom made to your feet. I found that my feet would hurt from walking or standing up but after wearing their custom insoles for over 5 years I will never go back to a normal shoe again. We went in to get arch supports made for our altra shoes to walk the Camino de Santiago. Best decision ever! This is THE BEST PLACE for missionaries. I will never travel with any other suitcase. They repair it for free and it has a guarantee on it! It is so well organized with so many pockets and the owners are the most wonderful people. I live and hour away but I will go here any time I need travel supplies.

This place is wonderful - I had a broken wheel on a custom-made suitcase, and the very knowledgeable store owner fixed it in short order and at a very reasonable price. If I ever have luggage-related needs again, this will be my go-to! Tons of fun products to look at as well!

Mark and Becky breathed new life into my Delsey carry-on rolling suitcase and my Kate Spade Lyla floral weekender bag. On the Delsey, the bottom front of the zipper had come undone in several places and the zipper pull finally gave out. The zipper was hand-stitched back together and zipper realigned back on its track so its gliding like before. The weekender leather handles were coming unstitched on the outside and the zipper pull was long gone. They anchored each handle end with lovely polished, gold-tone Chicago screws and added a new zipper pull. Both bags have many more years of travel ahead of them. ILC Travel is now my first go-to for any bag repair needs. Thank you ILC Travel!

This place is a hidden gem. I drove 45 minutes to have my $600 Tumi backpack fixed. They were so sweet and kind. They got my very expensive back pack fixed for less the $35 dollars. Such a god send.

I had no idea ILC Travel Outfitters was so comprehensive in travel everything. Every article of clothing, accessory and training was available to me. It blew my mind. Becky and Marks care and support is old-school, over-the-top. Well worth the drive from Utah County or farther. These folks have it dialed-in!

This is a great resource for travelers as well as missionaries. Everything you need for travel is in one place, including clothes and shoes! Super helpful staff will sit down with the traveler and consult on needs and conditions. They took 1-2 hours helping to educate and outfit my son. The service is excellent and product selection is very good. A local treasure.

Took my luggage to get the zippers fixed . Only place I could find that would do it. When we looked around the store they make some of their own luggage. The price was amazing, a lot less the what I just paid at JC Penny and the quality was 100% better. If anyone reads this and needs luggage this is the only place I would go. The gentleman that works there and might be the owner is so friendly and helpful. I highly recommend this place for repair or new. Many other items as well.

The staff was very kind and helpful. They were very informative about their quality products.

I would give them negative reviews if I could. Their young sales associate was SO rude. I went with my daughter who was headed to Vietnam for a mission. We had asked other missionaries there what she needed (because the store owner basically said we needed EVERYTHING and others that served there said no). So we went in and got what we needed. When the sales associate heard where she was going, he said no to things in our shopping basket and literally removed them and put them back on the shelf. He told us what we were going to do is bring in all of her clothes to have them treat them so they were done right (we treated them on our own just fine as per the recommendation of others). He went and got the owner who gave us the hard sale and basically said my daughter would get so sick if we didnt buy everything he said we needed (which, again, wed verified with missionaries there that she didnt need them) I was hoping to give them feedback on what missionaries were finding useful there but they were so arrogant and rude. My daughter will never set foot in the store again - she was so frustrated. Cant support a store that operates on fear and guilt on parents sending their kids to the other side of the world.

They were awesome! We loved there training, handouts and travel tips! They had everything we needed, reasonably priced, no pressure and truly want to send you off on your adventure ready to go! Coming from out of state to get our missionary ready to travel internationally they were a life saver!! You can’t find better service! They are definitely at the top of my list of first places to stop!

Best place for business luggage and mission/vacation luggage. I purchased some top end Briggs & Reilly luggage and computer bag. My larger suitcase was damaged by the airline. I brought it in and it was replaced by the manufacturer.Customer service is always fantastic here!

Awesome place. So so helpful for missionaries! The staff is great and will talk to you about anything you want help with and they dont pressure you into buying all their stuff. Most of the things there are pricey because its nice stuff but all optional.

Very straightforward with two zipper repairs. One could be repaired, one could not be. The tent zipper now works like new. Very friendly atmosphere. Decent prices. Very quick service.

I could not recommend this place enough. I purchased luggage for my son before his mission. When he returned two years later, the luggage looked brand new..... and my son served in a 3rd world country in Africa!!!!! Not one buckle, not one zipper, not one handle, not one wheel was broken in any way!!! I kid you not.... it looked brand new!!!!To top it off, it was a fabulous price to boot!!!

I needed a replacement purse turn clasp for a nice leather purse - they did a great job at a fair price. I am so glad there is still a place where items can be repaired nicely, rather than having to throw them out. I will also check them out if I need items for my next travels. Amazing. My suit case was mangled years ago by Jetblue and I had forgotten about it until I got it out on Wednesday to start packing for a trip to Hawaii on Saturday. Based on previous reviews of quick repair services, I thought I would at least ask if it was possible to complete the repairs in time. They didnt disappoint!! With a smile and a yes we can attitude they said it would be done. By Friday afternoon the repair was complete and I was on my way!Thanks for providing such prompt and friendly service!

I was really bummed that theyre only open til 2 on Saturdays. But they match any sale prices you see online (which is good) and they offer a wide selection of items. Very friendly and helpful.

Had a musical instrument case with a broken handle. Most music stores dont want to do this type of repair and consequently charge an arm and a leg. Looked for luggage repair shops and found this one online. Bought a very nice replacement handle at this luggage center and had it cheerfully replaced while I waited. As another reviewer stated, this business does not have a nice location or storefront, but the people were knowledgeable, helpful, and efficient.

The front of the store is not very memorable, but inside...the selection and excellent customer service and lifetime guarantee for Briggs & Riley luggage is a major selling point.We all know that all airline baggage ramp agents thrash our bags. Now longer a problem, thanks to this place and the amazing selection. We chose the BRX version of Briggs & Riley. They luggage has so many cool, innovative, and versatile pockets, zippers, wheels, and handles. And since Im tall, they have long handles, so I dont have to bend over, a bonus! Check these guys out!Some airlines charge to check bags, so we picked out an awesome versatile carry-on bag. Using it this weekend! :-)

Not 1, but 2 sales guys were so pushy that I will never go back, and would not recommend this place for anybody, including my worst enemy. Every other sentence was about how they train the MTC, and constantly offering more products. I couldnt walk 4 feet without being constantly hounded and pestered. Even after asking to let me just shop around, someone was at my back the entire time. Terrible experience and poor sales service.
