The folks at Game Tyrant ALWAYS treat us so good. It is a great business that respects and appreciates the customers who come in. The decor and layout of the place is so great. With PC and console games available as well as a couple of VR rooms, you can always find some thing fun to do. Game Tyrants website promotes the company as a family gaming center - and they mean it. They treat our little ones as kindly as they treat our teenagers. Game Tyrant is awesome!

I’ve been going to Game Tyrant since it opened and can honestly say Josh and his crew know how to create the perfect environment to chill and have fun. They are all very seasoned Magic the Gathering players and the tournaments are so much fun my whole family has gotten involved. The VR is a blast also and leaves you smiling from ear to ear. If your also into D&D this is the perfect environment to start a campaign. Just the ambiance will put you where you need to be when you’re playing. 5 Star review for me! Love this place!

Wide open. And by that I mean pretty much empty. Feels like a safe place to be. Has gaming equipment and really nice feeling chairs. Hours are conducive to late night ridiculousness...I mean ...gaming. Works for me.

Game Tyrant is awesome! I went yesterday for my birthday party and invited 10 people. It was a blast! The staff was really nice and they were making sure that we were having a great time. We all loved playing FNAF VR and Beat Saber. They have lots of gaming PCs too and almost any game imaginable! If you are looking to have a birthday party or just a hang out, I would recommend going here! Definitely coming again!

We booked my son’s birthday party here and it was sooo cool! Very clean and well set up. The VR rooms are spacious and comfortable and the party area upstairs is awesome! The kids had a blast and even the adults loved it! We can’t wait to go back!

Best place to throw a birthday bash for kids who love to game, VR, Magic the Gathering, and DND ! We brought in our own food and drinks and had a blast. They made sure all the kids had an awesome time and were happy. One of the coolest party was paying extra to have out kids face on the billboard Wishing him a happy birthday!! My boys play Magic the Gathering on Wednesdays. Super rad place definitely will plan our next big birthday there!!

My 12 year old had a great birthday party at Game Tyrant. The kids played Fortnite and some virtual reality games. They really had a blast. As a parent it was the perfect party. I brought food and sat upstairs on the couch for two hours while the kids played. They came upstairs ate, opened presents and then went back to their games. They were having so much fun that we extended our party by an hour. I 100% recommend.

Great space wide open nice workers are nice and they have mechanical keyboards so they are pretty sick

The computer and set up was great, the game selection was good, the desks were just OK (if you are going to make a plywood desk at least sand it and round the corners!) the location and finding it is horrible!

This gaming is now one of my favorite gaming places of all time. Everyone here was very chill and had amazing customer service. This place allows you and all your friends to enjoy playing together without having to worry about lagging or outdated equipment. Even though may seem like enough to say how good this place is, but it just gets better they have amazing prices for unlimited soda and have plenty of room for parties. Last but not least i will definitely be coming back because of the low ping and high fps to have an amazing gaming experience!!😁

Let me tell you, Game Tyrant is ahead of its time. Me and my 3 boys went and enjoyed 2 hours of free gaming from the get out pass and my goodness, what a time we had today! Great times, great people, great games, great day!

Prices are fair, people are great and only want you to be kind and have fun. The magic the gathering experience has always been fun and done very well. Over all a place I am proud to call my local game store.

First off, your response to my wifes post calling us entitled is VERY disrespectful. How dare you. I never demanded anything from you or any of your employees. We showed up a few weeks back and the employee that you were referring to actually helped us as much as possible and did everything he could so we could get onto a .mil website. Your entitled statement indicating that I assumed I was going to be helped is because I was helped last time and I was a little confused. Kind of like going to a store to get some milk and then a week later you go back and they tell you they dont sell milk anymore.I showed you both my active duty military ID and the smart card reader (which was in its box and is a very common tool in the military - so most anyone in the military with more than 6 years of experience would know that) and explained what I was requesting. Instead of getting up and addressing our request or trying to come up with a solution, you decided to continue to sit down and play your Magic game with your friends. The statement that you support the military only applies when it is convenient or beneficial to you, not when an active duty member asks for some assistance. I was just trying to get into a .mil website that my current laptop wasnt allowing me to access. Your rebuttal was that you didnt understand how the system works and that youre not very tech savvy. Dont you run a gaming center? How could you not understand what I was trying to say - instead you come up with excuses and said, you get where Im coming from? The employee that you are referring to actually cares about customers and know what customer service means. I hope you dont get rid of him. There are other gaming centers in this area; I highly recommend going anywhere but here.

I went here with a get out pass and the said that my friends could not use it because they didnt have their names on it. In my opinion they should have been allowed to use it because I still paid for it.

I attended a Pokemon competition here, had a lot of fun and look forward to future competitions. It was difficult to find at first and I got stuck behind the longest train of my life, but I can see why they chose such an extensive building. Just look for the black and green billboard and head to it.

The gaming here is awesome..magic the gathering here has great selection in cards.. and the Commander community is great as well!! Very competitive....casual too... very fun n its the place to be!!!Chaos drafts friday... commander tournament Wednesdays!! Mtg 👍👍🏼

This place was awesome! We did the VR experience and had to buy another hour because it we wanted to keep playing it.The staff was awesome and location as well. Definitely would recommend and definitely going back!

My husband tried to use his cac reader to sign into a computer to get documents sent for his retirement. We came here before and another staff member allowed us to use the computer for this purpose just one week ago. This time the owner was sitting there and says he doesn’t know if he can trust us to not be installing something potentially harmful to his computers. We showed him his military ID and the owner claims to be ex military but clearly this business does not support military. We have only a few days left to send these documents and we’re counting on them to be able to complete his retirement. We’re saddened to see businesses that don’t support our veterans.

Nice gaming place. Very well organized. Many different games to play. Excellent prices!!! Virtual reality was $15 for a half hour or $20 for an hour. You rent the room.

Easily the best game store in utah. Friendly staff and an insane playing environment. No cramped smelly store. Tons of room with good air conditioning. Snacks and unrivaled entertainment. After being failed by so many stores. Game tyrant has my business for all future purchases.

Awesome place for gaming and magic the gathering. Really good selection inventory wise and one of the nicer buildings Ive been to. Its a little out of the way but totally worth it!

We had a fun time! We paid for an hour of VR and it wasn’t busy so they let us go a little over. Logan was very helpful and made the process of learning how to use VR very easy even though it was our first time.

This store is awesome. I like to play MTG FNM here. Ive never seen such a cool layout for a store. Its also very clean and tidy. They are just getting started with MTG so its being built out but its a fun place to go.

GameTyrant is an incredible fun filled gaming place that brings face-to-face social exchange into the online gaming fun! If your kids play too many video games and dont meet new people or dont play outside with friends... This is the way to get them to make new friends! Same computer games they love, but with like minded peers! My child was shy and lonely, but with GameTyrant as a favorite new place to hang out with friends, its a win-win for us all!

This place is super nice for so many different reasons. I go here for a GREAT VR experience personally. With basically unlimited games it’s a blast for any type of gamer. From Beat saber to Blood & Sorcery it’s a blast. Now the computers...I didn’t count personally but there has to be at least 50+ computers you can use for any PC gaming needs. Plus with Magic the Gathering, D&D, and other card games I have no freakin ideas how to play it’s basically a gamers paradise👌

Went by last night with my date. We tried VR for the first time, we each got 15 mins for free. I tried Gorn, and she played Job Simulator. Its worth it to just go in and check out this place, even if its just to see the dragon statue, its a cool community place if your at all interested in gaming.

My kids really love this place and Taylor is super cool.

It’s the best here, I love that they now have magic the gathering. I love that this game store gametyrant does more then just computer games. They have card games and VR gaming. And I know that they will soon be doing board games. And they have all the space for dungeons and dragons.

This place is awesome! You walk in to see a 12 foot sculpture of a knight fighting a dragon. The atmosphere is very comfortable and relaxed. The staff is passionate about their job, most of them being competitive players. The computers are top notch and will plow through any of their wide selection of games on ultra settings. The peripherals are high quality. They also offer console play and Virtual Reality. The snacks and drinks sold can keep you fueled for their all night gaming sessions (they also provide pizza). Playing at GameTyrant is like hanging out with your rich friend with the sweet, modern, high tech gaming room. 11/10 would recommend.

This was my first time ever going to a gaming establishment.My first impression was that this is awesome! They have a huge dragon bin the main area, and great decorations everywhere!They provide a set of moderately comfortable headphones (over the ear).I used the get-out pass to play, and I will most definitely come back and play more games with friends.My only complaint is that the headphones could have been more comfortable.The keyboards are a little crazy at first. They are always changing colors, but I got used to it in the first 10 minutes.

Really fun. Took my oldest son to try VR and it was so much fun. The next day I brought the rest of my kids. We had a blast. Tyler was very nice and we all had a blast. We live in North Ogden so its a long drive but so worth it

Ive only been once so far, and it was just for an MtG tournament, so take with a grain of salt. The crowd seems friendly enough, as do the employees. The place was really nice; very clean, cool layout. Im giving 4 stars primarily because if youre there for Magic, the Gamers Asylum is much more generous with prizes and lets be honest, thats a good part of the fun. Im definitely looking forward to coming back here.

Great place! I took my 10 and 11 year olds today, we drove down from Ogden to check it out. Its in an out-of-the-way location, and the entrance isnt super obvious, but once we made it in it was incredible inside. Fantastic ambiance, super nice pc equipment, very comfy chairs. Lots of games to choose from, helpful, kind staff. And it has this AMAZING dragon statue! The only reason I didnt give 5 stars is because many of the games I tried had issues like needing passwords (that the gracious staff had to help all of us with) or updates we had to wait for or minor things like that. I dont know if I happened to pick the games that were usually ignored, but it was annoying.

With the get out pass they say that you can’t use it for friends even though it’s still paid for so they’re still getting the same amount. They won’t let us transfer for friends and it’s only my family in the get out pass but they don’t use them but my friends can’t either?

This is a cool little place with a lot of atmosphere. There is a Heebeegeebeez upstairs and a little snack bar downstairs. They offer VR experiences as well as some top notch computers to play on. I was there helping with a D&D charity event and they were very accommodating. Would recommend to anyone.

Amazing experience. Staff are helpful and involved at all that goes on there. They also give extremely fast responses for online support.For one of the tournaments, there was a power issue with the computers. They restarted the event and issued everyone refunds for the inconvenience.Highly recommend everyone to go check this place out.

I have been coming to this place for quite a long time now and I have never been disappointed with any aspect of my experiences. Friendly staff, incredibly fun environment, amazing list of games (plus Virtual Reality). Came here Tuesday 8-20 for and all day gaming sesh and you guys are closed and no one is around. I have to use ride share to get around so I now have to spend 30$ and don’t get to play games. I’m pretty upset if you have different hours because of remodeling you should post them somewhere.

The employees were very helpful and patient with both my kids and myself. I dont play video games much, but I was encouraged to play and both my kids and myself enjoyed playing in games together.

We had some connectivity issues with some PC games, but they more than made up for it by allowing us to play games and VR for the rest of the day; well beyond what we had paid for initially.

This place is awesome. 9-year-old heaven.I brought my son and his friends for the VR and that was super cool, and since it was our first time we needed a lot of help to get set up with accounts and to learn how to use the equipment and Justin was super helpful and patient with the boys. They also have a couple of computers setup with some retro arcade games that are free to play and the PC’s have tons of games and it only cost $4 per hour.The place is nice, clean, AC feels amazing and they have awesome sofas to sit and hang out while the kids are playing.We will definitely come back.

I love this place i have been to 3 of their CSGO tournaments so far and they have been top notch fun for me and my team. these guys have a lot of good fast computers and can be fun for a whole family activity. it might be a small business but their quality is amazing. Thanks Justin :)

GameTyrant is rad! Ive been to a few other LAN centers but never to one with the same level of available games, gaming equipment, and overall atmosphere. The staff (John & Jason) are what really set this place apart. Theyre attentive, personable, and helpful which isnt something youll always get in these environments. They really make the difference and redefine above and beyond customer service. I highly recommend GameTyrant for events, hanging out with friends, or just to kill a few hours if youre bored. This place is a diamond in the rough for gaming in Davis County!

We had a birthday party here and my son LOVED it! The lobby has a giant dragon statue and several ewoks so its a fun ambience. And for the party, the 11 year olds loved the VR but also had fun playing games on the computers. Game tyrant doesnt provide anything other than the place and getting a birthday shout out on the billboard! (Which was so fun)! But bringing our own cake and snacks worked out great! All the guests loved it and didnt want to leave. Several kids said they wanted to live there. Lol Wed do it again!

Went to a Starcraft 2 tournament here (Nov 25 2017). Not been here before, a little hard to find, but nice place, its a good facility. They are moving into a bigger area, and apparently have a lot of cool stuff happening. Its good to see places support competitive events like this Starcraft tournament.A+
