Did work for this company in the past. Even though our terms are COD we allowed them to make payment later on all occasions. Then I asked for a quote to repair my trailer. Horizon was to completely build a new aux ramp. (Gave them the old one to use for measurements and as a guide. They were to replace diamond plate. Rebuild hyd. rams. Quote was for $8000. A little high but they used our service I will use theirs. Work was to take about 4 days, not the 4 months it took to do it wrong. They did not build a new ramp but welded some scrap metal to the old one and called it good. Never touched the rams. Never replaced the diamond plate. Emailed me an invoice for if I recall for about $6700. I paid online with bill pay just to save our reputation and be done with Horizon. I took the truck whereas we had terms when I did work for Ben Welman/ Horizon. Then I get a call from the police that Horizon reported I stole my truck. NO I DID NOT STEAL MY TRUCK I took it as agreed because I had a job and needed it. Needless to say we cancelled the payment. Never did the work at all but sure caused some problems. Trailer is now inop due to the damage that Horizon caused.
