This company takes no responsibility. Items were stolen from our space as someone cut a hole in the chain link fence. Storage etc. didn’t care. Obviously there isn’t good enough security here to assure you that your belongings will be safe. Why store anything here if security is next to nothing?

I never anticipated having furniture and personal items in storage for 12 years, but two cross-country moves for career makes time pass quickly. I had a very positive experience with all the contacts at the North Salt Lake Storage Etc, but Chrissy really stood out for her exceptional customer service. The storage facility also surpassed my expectations for protecting my items.I had not checked on the storage unit in over 12 years so I was extremely apprehensive as to what I might find. You hear horror stories of mice, roaches and theft with long-term storage at other facilities.With the exception of a lot of dust (to be expected after 12 years...and it is Utah), I was pleasantly surprised that there was nothing missing, no water damage from leaks, no pest damage, or even evidence of any rodents. I had stored some expensive pieces and they were in remarkable condition. It helped that we put two tarps down (10 x 20 unit), and that the furniture was wrapped either in plastic or moving pads, but it was the storage facility that kept my items safe.North Salt Lake Storage Etc offers a level of protection not found at most storage facilities. Management is on-site for more hours than most to oversee security, but Chrissy REALLY is phenomenal!Chrissy was kind enough to check on us during the four days we sorted through items. When I was alone and it started to sprinkle she even offered to help me move items back under cover. When we had a donation truck arriving to pick up items she was able to allow them entry. No one likes moving, and Chrissy is the type of person who genuinely cares about the site and its customers, wanting things to go as smoothly as possible for them during a tough task. It was also nice that she kept her office stocked with last minute essentials like moving boxes of various sizes, ropes for tie downs, bubble wrap, etc. - all reasonably priced.I would enthusiastically recommend Storage Etc., North Salt Lake and Chrissy to anyone needing a safe place to store items!

Really good service! They go over everything you need and explain all the prices well. The storage unit is cool even in the hot temps! Super clean and well kept place too. Highly recommend.

Not too sure what is up with this place. Ive been there now 4 times in an attempt to contact someone. And...Ive not been able to see an employee yet. Today, there was a sign on the door saying they would be back at 10:30, so I waited for ten minutes, nothing. I ran an errand and came back, at 10:50 still locked and lights in the office off. So choosing a different tac, i called and was promptly hung up on without getting a word in. Called back, finally got hold of a human. After telling me that there was not a space available I was again, hung up on. No thank you, try back in a month.....nothing. Not sure how this place has received 4.7 stars. If in fact a member of management sees this. Please get in contact with me, I can give you some ideas on how employees can effectively use language to to tell people they cant help them.

Clean and secure property. Rv spots are a hot item! They have 3 lots for those all with security cams and a gate code. Close to I15 and also good burger places so after unloading a uhaul one can replenish their energy

Rented here in the fall of 2020. The units are well maintained and the manager is great at communicating. I was able to get on a wait list for the size I needed, moved in early. Seems like there’s lots of sizes available I had one big enough for a large van.. They also have covered and uncovered storage for large RVs and trailers.. Paperwork is easy to do and can be done electronically. Rates Are competitive with other storage places in the area. They plow snow when there’s snow in the parking lot. The unit I had had electricity, so it was nice to have a light inside and I had a wall plug nearby.Security is good. There’s video surveillance, seems like cameras are everywhere, you get a gate code to get in and out. The staff out on the grounds, inspecting & cleaning and picking things up. Good access hours. No complaints, I would rent here again.

My boyfriend and I have been living out of hotels and a huge moving truck for 2 weeks after discovering mold in our first apartment on move in day. We needed a storage unit to hold our things until our new place was ready, and Chrissy worked hard for us to get one quickly! We were stressed and other local storage places were not super helpful over the phone. We were able to get our things moved in quickly and easily and she was so friendly and attentive and made us feel so much better about everything. Highly recommend!

Ive had my storage unit for 3 weeks now and I absolutely love mine! Im very picky and did my research with reviews when I found this facility. Chrissy in the front office is so nice and will take good care of you. Super clean, wide roads big enough to navigate a big truck/trailer. You can tell when owners care about their property and this one is well cared for. I even switched my inlaws over from a 10x10 in Salt Lake to this location and theyre saving about $50 a month for the same size storage unit. They love theirs too! I love that both of our units are located inside the building and is well lit inside. Adds a little extra security to the things we store. Thanks tons!

Right from day 1, my experience was exceptional ! The manager was friendly, professional and always helpful. The lot is well kept and seemingly free of vagrants. Oh, and the roof dont leak. The rent is very fair. I DO recommend this place, if youre in the need of this service.

Just rented a storage unit today and their system crashes on them during my visit. Ended up getting a discount and the staff was great he showed me exactly where my unit was and answered all questions I had. The prices were great that’s why I was surprised they gave me a discount cause the prices they had were already a discount I thought lol. Would 100% recommend them to anyone.

I had one of the better experiences at this storage facility than Ive ever had. The property manager Chrissy Cressell not only made sure that I looked at and could choose between different units she had available, but she made the whole process quick, easy and enjoyable. Ive sat in other storage facility offices for what seems like days trying to get paperwork done. She was efficient, great to talk to, and she explained everything clearly so there was no question what I was signing. I appreciated her very much and she did a fabulous job. She certainly seems open and receptive to conversations if I ever have an issue and there is no doubt in my mind that she will handle it with professionalism and a genuine smile.

Everyone has been so friendly at Storage Etc! It has been such an easy process to rent a unit. I did everything online and they were ready for me the day we showed up to put our bins in the unit. The office guy was super friendly and took us over to show us where our unit was. It has been an overall great experience working with Storage Etc!

I was pretty happy with Storage Etc. Honestly, the best part was that I didnt have to think or worry about it. I had an indoor storage space that wasnt climate controlled and it worked out perfectly. My only complaint is that I couldnt ever set up an automatic payment. I had to manually pay every time. If that gets fixed, I might actually find a reason to use the storage container again, haha.

This was my first time renting a storage unit. I shopped around online and found Storage etc. in NSL. It had the best rates so I went through the process of renting the unit online. I only needed it for a short amount of time after we sold our house before we moved into our new home. It worked out perfectly. The staff told me exactly what I needed and was very efficient. She showed me my unit to make sure it was what I needed. She was also very friendly to work with and was a great help with all the questions I had.

Honestly I came here by accident. I had reserved with another company close by. However Hayden the manager was so polite and confident about his property that I chose to stay. Now i have been with Storage Etc 5 months and Im very glad i stayed. Its a clean facility, secure and affordable. All the staff are friendly and helpful. I would recommend this company.

Im a Desert Storm and 9/11 NORAD veteran and needed a quick solution when VA treatment took priority and my RV/personal effects needed secure storage.The staff and facilities of Storage ETC went above & beyond secure storage! Their personal attention considered my unique needs and Id award them individually if their was a military corporate Commendation Medal. Manager Chrissy, Michael, and super-tan-and-handsome (yes, my personal fave) Hayden have been key in my recovery and safety as an American Soldier.

We had three days to organize a move -- two of those days were a Saturday and Sunday. It took us less than 20 minutes to secure a storage unit -- including rental agreement, viewing the unit, and getting out the door. Chrissy and Maryouri were so professional and efficient. They explained everything very well. Would highly recommend Storage Etc. in North Salt Lake. Thank you Chrissy and Maryouri!!!

I was very impressed with the professionalism of Chrissy and Hayden as it pertained to knowledge of the facility and they helped me through a difficult long distance renting of two units. I reserved the units 30 days ahead of time and everything went down as promised. The facility is very clean and orderly. They have an on-site 24-hour employee which adds to my feeling secure for the safety of my property.

Storage Etc. in North Salt Lake is a great place to store your stuff and it is very convenient. Its located right off the freeway. The units and the grounds are very clean. The security is great. We stored our boat and it was very easy to get it into and out of the unit. The staff was very nice and helpful. I would highly recommend to use them.

Very sad day to me I would like to say thank you to storage Etc after nine long years of keeping my stuff safe I finally moved into a bigger home and do not need a storage no more they made leaving super easy just want you to know you will always be my first thought in storage if I ever need storage again and I will definitely definitely recommend storage etc. after 9 years I had never once had issues whatsoever it is the most safest, affordable and cleanest storage that I have been in and believe me Ive been in a few for I have a small business and Ive always needed to keep stuff in storage Ive stayed for as long as I have because Joseph has been the best to work with. This was a great experience for us. We rented a very large unit and were able to store the contents of our property in one unit with room to spare. The location was extremely secure, and that was our number one consideration. The entrance is gated and security cameras are in place. The staff was good to us and helped locate a unit for us that fit our needs. I will use them again should the need arise.

I chose storage etc. North Salt Lake because they were extremely nice and fast at getting back to me with any concerns or payment questions I had about my unit. It is an extremely safe storage unit, never had to worry or felt insecure about this place or my stuff. They are also the best price around compared to the other storage units I was quoted on. When my husband and I were searching for a storage unit, we saw the appealing ad in the Davis County Directory. We called several facilities (including ones we found on-line) near our home in Bountiful. Once JIM answered at Storage Etc. North Salt Lake, our decision was 90% made. So friendly and informative! He even called back to seal the deal. We were impressed with his initiative. Hubby and I hopped in the car and drove right over. Jim living on-site solved our security requirements. The first month discount was an added bonus. Then Jim helped us find the perfect unit and got us signed up lickety split. Absolutely everything met and exceeded our expectations. I highly recommend Storage Etc. North Salt Lake and JIM.

Located in North Salt Lake near the train tracks and right off freeway. The paperwork was very easy and the cost was very reasonable. I had household goods stored there for over two years and never had any issues. The management staff was always polite and friendly. Great service easy access. Highly recommended.

I cant say enough good things about Storage Etc. and Joseph. I never had to worry about the security of the items we were storing. It was accessible anytime we needed to get into our unit. Joseph is the nicest guy to work with and so accommodating. I would recommend Storage Etc to anyone.

Rented a 10x10 unit for about 8-9 months. The units are a bit dirty and badly maintained (our light stopped working and was never repaired, and a hinge on the door rusted off and the door wouldnt open smoothly). Also, the units dont have flat floors, have small entrances, and attract a TON of spiders and other bugs. The office staff are almost never consistently in the office and are difficult to contact. Prices are comparable to competitors (though $9 a month is added for required insurance), and access hours are good. Overall, I much MUCH preferred STOR-N-LOCK and other storage locations that actually used garage-like concrete floors that are easier to keep clean. Its functional, and a convenient enough location, but not very good overall. I wasnt pleased with it.

I had reserved a 10x20 storage room for 30 days (May 13 - June 13). They quoted a price of $145. But once I signed all the papers, it was apparent that I would be paying $185 for the month of June plus $47.50 for the prorated days left in May. They are unable to rent the unit for just the days you plan to use it.The manager I worked with was kind, understanding, and professional. The storage building was clean and safe. The problem is that the corporate office must force this horrible business practice on its franchises.Try Alpine Storage instead.

Time to leave another review for two reasons:1- my last review was deleted2-my monthly payment just went up again. This time from $188 to $203. I have been with them for years and I’m not sure why... maybe habit. I have a shed and yard parking. The shed is fine. Yard parking is horrible. They won’t spend the money to get the gate fixed for security, but they will spend the money to repaint the stupid garage doors. People live full time in the yard in their campers, yet I can’t get 24 hour access anymore. This company is lame.

Tired to cancel storage unit less than 12 hours after signing the lease once we realized it wasnt going to be big enough after all and they wouldnt work with us at all. We understand we signed a lease but there should be some kind of grace period. Instead of being helpful they refused to give us any of our almost $200 back even though we never even users the unit. Horrible customer service. Would not recommend to anyone.

Excellent Personable Experience. Walked by one day and a few months later made the call. Joseph was incredibly accommodating to my schedule and always precise and informative in answering my questions. Began a contract today and Im pleased with the size and comparable value of the space Im renting.

We have been with Storage Etc. for almost a year and a half now. We found them based on location to our rental, and ended up loving them. They have a wonderful staff that has always been quick to answer any questions or concerns that may come up. They have reasonable prices, and we have sent friends to them. weve been very pleased with our relationship with this company, and are only leaving because were relocating back to AZ. Storage Etc. in North Salt Lake is the place you want to store your stuff! The new customer promo got us a FREE months rent and a discounted second months rent, there was a hiccup with the type of unit we reserved online and they still gave us the promo no problem. The staff are very patient and cordial and they only thing I would say about the place or our overall exp. is we wished the accessible hours were later than 9pm. Great place, lots of units/sizes, awesome staff, and safe area.

The location is perfect close to my house and is very clean. The location to both my units is also close so thank you to them for that as well.

I had a great experience with this storage.I did have a few issues but I feel they were minor and didnt affect my experience too much. Here are just a few things that happened with my experience.1. I noticed they were offering $1 first months rent but I paid in full. Kind feel screwed since that couldve helped us during that time.2. When moving out they added the cleaning fee, which I requested, on top of my rent. I should not have been charged for that month since i had moved out. Took them 2 months to fix that. They insisted I pay in the office but I couldnt and needed it online. Its was fixed without additional issues which I appreciate a lot.3. Everyone was always happy to help.4. The storage units are clean!5. You need to make sure the unit you have is not full of the previous persons stuff. I dont think storages are checked after the previous individuals leave.Overall I would come back since they actually treat you right, even if it was their mistake or yours. Yes, there can be headaches but these guys get things done.
