The salesmen are nice and easy to get along with. However, they definitely dont make everything clear. I bought a used 2015 Toyota Sienna with 82000 miles on September 28th. The listed price was $25k but when they finally got to the point where I sign paperwork the total price was $34k. There were roughly $2k in tax, title, and registration costs. The remaining $7k was charges for sanitizing the car, a brake light flashing add-on, an oil change schedule, key replacement protection, some sort of paint protection, and theft protection. All things that Im not at all interested in. They told me these costs are non-negotiable. I was able to get some, but not all of the costs removed.Upon leaving the dealership with my van I at least felt good about the fact that it was a good vehicle because the dealership had done some repairs to ensure the vehicle was in good condition. They kept telling me that the car was serviced with their worry-free guarantee program. Well about a week and a half after taking ownership of the vehicle i noticed a grinding sound in the engine area. I tried to talk to the dealership to get the issue fixed but they said the best they could do is offer their cost on parts, but they wouldnt work with me on the labor. The issue ended up being that the bearing on the water pump was worn out and the pump needed to be replaced. This cost me $976.30.So the lesson learned is dont ever trust this dealership when they tell you that a car will be worry-free. Their word means nothing and they dont back their guarantee.
As far as the service department goes, they do a great job. Took my car in for a simple recall repair and they were extremely helpful and thorough. Got me in and out in about an hour and fifteen minutes.
Great experience with Don and the team at Tim Dahle Bountiful! They listened to what we wanted and were not pushy at all. Don was super helpful and answered all our questions. We walked away with a great car that we feel we got a good deal on. I would recommend them!
Went in for oil change and ended up with two wheel covers half off and luckily put them back on right when I got home. My tire stem valve cap missing when I know I had them on all four tires when I brought 2021 new van in. They suggested $770.00 worth of tests etc. On my brand new vehicle that should have nothing wrong with it. Only 16,000 miles on the vehicle still under warranty. I will never go back there even if my next oil change is free.
I went to Tim Dahle Bountiful with a hope they would be able to fix my Bluetooth in my Rouge. Every time I made a phone call, a loud ringing sound would echo through the phone call. We took our car to South Town in June. And was told it was fixed, but it wasnt. We spent about a week trying to get a hold of their manger and no one would call us back and no one was willing to help. I called the bountiful store on Wednesday and they were able to get me an appointment the next day. When I pulled into service at the bountiful store Cody was there to greet me. He listened to my concerns and was ready to help. After about an hour of waiting for a diagnosis on my car they had a rental car ready for me and had my two car seats moved over to the rental car. Cody kept me informed the whole time they were working on my car and even called when it was about done. When we picked up my car the service employees once again moved my car seats and had my car ready to go. Cody was amazing to work with. He made my day very smooth and I will go back to Tim Dahle Bountiful.
I responded to their ad and conversed with a salesman through the ad. Told him I would be driving 2 hrs and wanted to make sure on the car price and that the car was there. The next day, after test driving the car, I was told by the salesman that the price posted was wrong, it was actually $1900.00 more. I showed him the ad and within minutes the ad changed price. Told him it was like a bait and switch deal. Also, I would have to pay an additional $1800 in shop fees although nothing had been repaired. I would also have to pay more for paying cash, because the salesman stated they wont get their kick back from financing the car. I left without buying the car. Beware, this dealer is dishonest with a lot of hidden fees.
Amazing customer service! I have them my expectations and they went above and beyond! They are honest and treated me like a person instead of a dollar sign!
If you want to buy a new or used car and walk out of the dealership feeling better then when you walked in, this is the place you need be! One of the best experiences I have ever had with a dealership by far!. Buying a car can be intimidating, stressful, and overwhelming but the guys here were incredible. They were so patient, especially with a over the top small blonde 29 year old who had anxiety and needing to test drive the same car 3 different times along with many others. I never felt pressured or uncomfortable once. Jason was amazing and definitely helped me make the choice that was right, he really took care of me. Ask for Jason and mention Lexi he will do everything to make sure you walk out happy and satisfied with what you bought. Candy and Bryan in finance were so patient and informing on everything, the whole crew was. Never have that buyers remorse feeling ever again! Go in and pull out with your new car and feel happy, accomplished, and that you just met some of the most incredible people and new friends out there. One Bring in some brownies and you will definitely win some extra points with Jason and the crew!
I was looking at purchasing a car here on Saturday 10/23/2021. I had everything lined up and drove the hour and a half to get there. Halfway there I was looking over the car again online and noticed the price jumped $3,000. I called the guy who I had been talking to and he said I would get the car for the original price. I arrived and actually liked the car. Went inside for the paperwork and they wanted me to finance with their finance company. I didn’t ask for that because I had my own financing. They gave me the run around on my trade in which was fine, but I had two approvals for financing, one with and one without my trade in. I showed them this and they told me we would have to wait in til Monday. Monday comes and I call them. They tell me my finace company has the wrong car…. How is that possible when the VIN numbers match. This place clearly doesn’t know how to operate their business. And hire salesman who tell a person over the phone anything they can to get them in the door. I would paid cash for this car. But they wanted to jack the price right before I get there, even though I had proof of my approval and the word of the salesman telling me a different price. I’ve tried calling a manager and no one is available. Steer clear of this place.
I would not wish on my worst enemy to have to deal with this dealership. Absolutely terrible and dishonest. If it would let me give zero stars I would. Do not ever go to this dealership for service or to buy a car.
I came to the Bountiful dealership because of the wonderful way that they treated me over the phone about the questions I had about my Rogue. Dixie was my service advisor and she was absolutely clear on the process of having a diagnostic done as well as the possible reasons it could be for fixing my Rogue. She stayed in touch with me about my vehicle and provided excellent customer service. In a world where people don’t seem to care about how you are treated, I would definitely trust Dixie and the team there at Nissan to take care of my vehicle.
Horrible experiences when looking at a used truck. After asking multiple times for the out the door price with my trade in and not receiver a response I asked for my keys so I could leave.Once they knew I was not going to make a purchase I was harassed by multiple sale reps. I was surrounded by 5 different sale reps who insulted me, used foul and vulgar language, and acted like they wanted to fight me if the other sale reps were not holding them back.Grin the sales manager was also involved in this issue. When I asked how to report the problem to the whole Tim Dahle group, Grin told me you can google the number and refused to provide any resolution. He ended the conversation with a religious slur.I would stay far away from this dealership. Horrible service and customer interaction. If you want to know why everyone stays away from used car salesmen, go to this dealership and you can see firsthand.
Amazing experience at this dealership. Jason and Brad made the whole process completely painless and for the first time ever I can say it was actually enjoyable to buy a car. Would highly recommend to everyone.
I bought a car from Alex and Benson (our finance guy was Cord) on Tuesday. They were great! One of the tires was loosing air so I brought it in on Thursday. They found a roofing staple in the tire. They replaced the tire for free, no questions asked. The service staff was super friendly! Great experience.
The service that the team provided on the day that I showed up to have the service done on my Altima was optimum. From the service person to its mechanic, extremely professional.I kept getting updates on what it was being done to the vehicle pertaining to its maintenance and also the options of what I could do to better care of the vehicle. I give them 5 stars for their great service. Thank you.
SCAMMERS……. Tried overpricing a car. Talked them down lower. Brought the car home. Started having big problems that we didn’t see when test driving it. I was just looking for a car that I don’t have to fix all the time. Already am having to put more money into it. It’s ridiculous. Don’t trust these people.
We bought a good GMC Acadia here but I will never buy from this dealership again. We originally wanted to buy something upfront but we were pressured into financing and adding a bunch of add-ons we didn’t want. They were very shady about the total cost of the vehicle they kept just wanting to tell us the monthly price. I should have read the documents more closely and I take responsibility for that but with all the added costs they added on we did not get as good of a deal as I originally thought. If you buy here I would suggest taking the time to read through and ask about the cost of everything very carefully. Oh and by the way the “Worry-Free Guarantee” costs extra money and you have to add it.
Horrible experience with their service dept.My wife brought our van in to have an issue checked. They reset the computers and sent is home after $177 diagnostic fee.We quickly realized the van was not right and took it back. This time they found an issue with the upper control arms and it was going to cost a lot to fix. I asked the service writer to have the sales department give me a buy out quote. I heard back from someone in sales who provided me a range. My wife went to make a sales deal and it turned out the sales group hadn’t looked at the van nor were they aware it was even there. Upon ‘actual’ inspection the buy out offer was a lot less than the price floor previously quoted, and they were going to charge us another diagnostic fee. The service manager tried to offer the diagnostic fees as credits towards the repairs if we agreed to have them done. Despite strong protest my wife had to pay another diagnostic fee to get the van back so we could take it some place else. The service writer would not acknowledge that we had previously brought it in (a few days prior) for the same issue. So we paid $354 and got nothing fixed. Feels like theft.Horrible customer service, incompetence, bait and switch. This place will rip you off.
Bought a used Frontier from Tim Dahle, and had the clutch go out at 40k miles (I had owned it for 15k of that). Was charged $2,400 to repair it, as its a wear and tear part, so its not covered by the extended warranty purchased.About 50k miles later the clutch goes out again the same way, and they want another $3,000 to replace it as if this is to be expected with this vehicle. They were willing to take off a few hundred bucks, but that doesnt really help when the issue should have been fixed the first time.Tim Dahle dealerships dont seem to stand by what they sell, or their service work, because this isnt normal wear and tear. Ive never replaced a clutch in any other vehicle Ive owned, let alone twice within a two year time span.
Mitch Butler was awesome! He was very friendly and helpful. He really went the extra mile to make sure we got exactly what we were wanting and felt comfortable. The employees just felt genuine and caring.
Went to check out a used vehicle listed for $37K on the website. Test drove with one of the sales reps SJ who told me the price would not increase other than taxes, title, licensing and doc fee. Pointed out the brake plus sticker and asked if there would be an extra charge. He said no additional its built into the price. Noticed the tires were studded snow tires. Asked about those and they didnt know at first. Found out they are illegal to drive outside of winter season but per Grin the General Sales Manager, they could legally sell me a vehicle that was illegal to drive. Offered me $700 for new tires. Told me I had to pay $1100 for them to replace fluids and do their inspection to make it saleable. Had a trade in, wasnt interested in going up on the trade in price whatsoever. Also stated I had to pay $1800 if I didnt want to finance it with them. So this $37K truck went up by nearly $4K in price. Finally agreed on a price of $38K, finance through Tim Dahle Nissan, and trade in $200 above initial and asked if there were any hidden fees. Grin told me there was an extra $400 for the brake plus addon. I told him that his salesperson SJ said no extra charge for this. Grin finally agreed to drop the charge to $300. So I was willing to pay $38.3K which was over the sticker price and trade in my vehicle when the General Manager started telling me that I made this harder on myself. Told him that he should probably not say that and he said then you should probably not buy a car and that he would not sell it to me. Odd since we were right about to go into financing but Grin had to make negative comments about me and turn the deal sour.About 4 hours wasted, rudest sales manager Ive ever met. And I felt the bait and switch. Think twice before coming to buy from here. If you want to overpay you will be welcomed, they dont want people to ask whats in the details and financing as per Grin the most rude sales manager.
Caught one if their service advisors in outright lie! He wanted to charge me $175 to replace an underbody protector shield saying it was complicated due to contact with drive shaft. I had my own mechanic do the job for $60. See the photo here where the drive shaft is well away from the black shiney shield.Avoid the shaft at Tim Dahle’s Bountiful by going elsewhere!
These guys at Time Dahle Nissan really helped me out in a tough situation. The my are some of the nicest people I’ve had to work with. I would 100% recommend this location for Service or anything else. Really helpful.
Jason was really nice and helpful. He made it a fun afternoon buying my car, like buying a car with a friend. I really appreciate how nice everyone was and how patient they were with all of my questions and concerns.
The service advisor was terrible. They wanted to nail me for over $2,000 in additional repairs other than what I brought it in for. After they couldnt figure out what was wrong with it I took it to my regular mechanic for an oil change and he was able to figure out what was wrong. When I called back to ask her to call the warranty company and tell them the problem was found she refused. My warranty has a deductible of 250.00 for each visit and this would have cost me another 250.00.My regular mechanic also examined the car about the additional $2,000 in repairs and he said all I needed was a transmission flush. Its no wonder this company has such low ratings. I will never deal with Tim Dahle Nissan again. I heard they were crooks but thought I would give them a chance.
I dont know where to start with the compliments, I felt like my bad credit and no down payment would stop me from getting the vehicle I needed and wanted and felt I deserved, but I was wrong... I was so nervous the whole time, my salesman Jason was awesome at putting me at ease and helping move numbers around the sun and create impossible math so that I could drive home in my new (used) vehicle... I would highly recommend Tim Dahle Nissan for anyone who is nervous about the car buying experience, Or afraid of getting turned down like I was. I felt like a real person and I am very happy.
Went into trade my car in for a newer one and SJ and Kyle helped me . They went to battle for me and understood what I needed and didnt try to pressure me whatsoever. Went into Brad to sign the papers and he also went to battle for me seeing what the best deal he couldget for me even as far as going into his boss and seeing what could be done. He came back with a super deal and papers was signed. Everyone of the staff here was so kind and caring and I was very happy. When it comes time togetting another car I will definitely be going back to Tim Dahle Nissan in Bountiful and will also tell all my Family and friends about them. Thank you so much SJ, Kyle, Brad and the rest of the staff for making me feel like part of your family 💕💕 Linda Thomas a customer for life 😀
Had my car in multiple times to another dealership that sucked so bad Murdock in bountiful never, ever go there, horrible customer service... Took my car in once to Nissan, was greeted in the parking lot with great customer service and two gentlemen at the service door so amazing. So helpful, kind and fixed my car all in one stop not 3. Explained everything and gave me no BS. Thanks Nissan..!!
I have bought 3 cars here. Never a headache and always great service. The service center is awesome as well, they do a very good job.
Kolton & Muhammad in sales were great! And the entire team was friendly and helpful. If you have any questions about the shop fee, or anything else, just ask and theyll explain. Thanks for the new car!
I highly recommend Tim Dahle Bountiful if you are looking for a new or used car/truck. The sales staff were attentive to what I was looking for and helped me get into a payment I was comfortable with. The service staff was also great, I got there at 3 and they closed at 4, they were still able to get me in and complete the service quickly and for a great price.
My wife and I had a great experience with our purchase. The customer service was great. Benson, Brad, and Tim were all very helpful and found us the best deal on a very clean truck. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a nice vehicle with excellent service.
They were sessions and quick. Very professional communication and atmosphere. Will definitely recommend in the future! 5 stars!!
This was my first good experience at a dealership. Cody took care of me and my car, and I’m really pleased with the service I received. I was updated constantly, and I definitely felt like I was taken care of. It was really easy to get in contact with them, and I will be coming back for future services for sure.
The car listing on the website mentioned the forever warranty. But the fine print said it is not valid on cars that are over so many years or beyond so many miles. So I knew when we bought our car that it was ‘as is’. But, when we got home we realized the back hatch door doesn’t stay open, making it really hard to load strollers and things into the Odyssey. I thought it would be nice if the dealer would do us the courtesy of replacing the struts to the door since we just bought it, but the were unwilling…
Benson was awesome. Super friendly, knowledgeable and easy to work with. Whole process was quick and smooth.
I worked with Jason L. Had great service!! He did a great job getting me the car I wanted at a great price. He hustled to get me what I wanted! Great guy!
I bought my 2018 Nissan Titan in Nampa, Idaho almost 3 years ago. The dealership took care of maintenance until I moved here to Utah summer of 2020. Last week at over 75,000 miles the battery quit. Dixie at the Tim Dahle Nissan service department took care of several maintenance items and a warranty issue. She set me up with a maintenance bundle for my Titan and communicated with me very well. This will be my go to for my Titan maintenance going forward.
Usually you hear the dealership charges a lot of money and always tries to squeeze every last penny out of you that they can in their service department, BUT Tim Dahle Nissan was the complete opposite! They treated me well, listened to my issues and fixed them all for a very reasonable price. I even picked my car up after hours and the Sales desk was excellent to work with. They went above and beyond!
SJ was amazing and was able to get me into a fully loaded Tahoe that we were really eyeing. I’m going to miss my Ford Explorer but this new journey is what life is all about. Thank you kind sir for this opportunity!!
Isaac was awesome! He really took the time to answer all of our questions and made sure we had all the information we needed. Super respectful of our time and was so patient with us. He made us really feel a part of the process. Everyone looking for cars should find themselves an Isaac :)
The staff at Tim Dahle Nissan in Bountiful are nothing less than amazing. In the past couple years, due to unforeseen circumstances, I have had to purchase three vehicles. The staff at Tim Dahle Nissan made me feel so comfortable and at ease with my initial purchase, that I made sure I returned for the next two. I live in Murray and am surrounded by auto dealerships, but Tim Dahle Bountiful is worth the drive! They definitely have a customer for life. I have dealt with multiple sales agents as well as the sales manager, and each experience was equally great. You can rest assured that no matter who you work with, they are consistent in the quality of their customer service. They are upfront, honest, and relaxed with their approach. I truly felt like they were trying to find me a vehicle that I WANTED to buy, not a vehicle they needed to sell me. They helped me find something reliable and within my budget versus trying to sell me on something I didn’t want, need, or couldnt afford. They helped me find the perfect vehicle more than once, and they can do the same for you! I recommend them over any other dealership, hands down.
Cody was very precise and knowledgeable in offering different service options and provided great customer service. My experience yesterday has changed my opinion of Tim Dahle Bountiful from past experiences. I highly recommend it.
We went to Tim Dahle Nissan in North Salt Lake to test drive a used vehicle. SJ greeted us and helped us locate the vehicle in question. My husband and I were able to get on the road to test drive the vehicle and get the numbers worked out perfectly for what we needed. We were even treated to lunch! We were very happy with the service provided to us.
I could not be more happy with this service at Tim Dalhe Nissan Bountiful. I pulled right into the service bay and was greeted with professionalism and someone happy to help me. I feel like I’m part of the family there at this point the service is so good. Cody sold me on Tim Dalhe Nissan over and over today. They checked out two vehicles to see if they were good to buy at a used car dealership and did an excellent job and helped me make a decision on which one to buy because of their service. Again Cody awesome job!!! Hope you get some kudos for this. Go Cody go and go Tim Dalhe Nissan Bountiful.
Be already posted my experience on cars. Com and would recommend anyone buy from Tim Dahle Nissan in Bountiful review this site prior to buying. I had a horrible experience and had two general managers write me and when I responded to their e-mails, I heard nothing. Glade I didn’t buy a car from them and wished I would have looked at cars.com review before interacting with them.
First off we got lied to from the very beginning. We called they told us they had the Rogue on the lot. We then made a little over an hour drive to go look at it. Apparently it wasnt on the lot yet. We test drove another model and decide to buy the one that was showing up tomorrow or the day after. (Another lie they had no idea where this vehicle was.) Almost a month had gone by they called and said its in California but we have no other details. When we purchased the vehicle they made us sign a waiver saying we cant sue, the dealership will make sure we are happy with the outcome. So we finally get our vehicle today and we ask for a couple extras due to poor customer service, and getting lied to repeatedly. They wont agree to what we are asking for. Only what they feel is fair.Which isnt much. I would never recommend this dealership or any of the staff to anyone. STAY FAR FAR AWAY!
Tim Dahle is the best. The service department is so easy to get along with and so super nice. I drive 50 minutes just to get my car serviced there. Highly recommend
Really appreciated the friendly service I received during my appointment. My dislike is, the ridiculously high cost of your air filters😐 both the engine and especially the interior cabin filter. I went ahead and purchased the filters from you as the filters really needed to be replaced but I will not buy them through you again.
We had Keith do a Prepurchase Inspection on a vehicle for us and he was incredibly helpful. He caught even the smallest of things that people wouldn’t normally think about. Overall extremely satisfied with the service and Keith should be given an award for his service.
Went in to look at a vehicle they were advertising online. Friendly staff. Area under construction so they had signs posted to assist with entering safely. The car i was looking at wasnt available so the salesmen looked at other vehicles in the price range I had said. Didnt try to get me into a car with payments. Didnt even offer. Loved that about the visit. Didnt try to sell me something I wasnt looking for. SJ is on card he gave me. Cant remember his name. While we were walking out to view other cars mine came back so we grabbed the keys and went for a test drive. Started it up and saw check engine light was on. Asked him and he said he would look into it when we returned. I think i brought it up 2-3 more times Loved the car. Fair price, clean interior and new tires and clutch installed. We returned and I went outside while he looked at numbers. Came back in and he offered me a fair price for car but didnt say a thing about check engine light. Tried to sell me the car without an update on light. Didnt even say he asked about it. So all said and done pleasurable experience but wish he would have updated me on light along with price of car. Would consider them for a car in future though.
Michael and SJ were so helpful and polite they were a great team and totally made us feel good about our sale!
I would not recommend going to Tim Dahle dealerships. Bought a truck with a sticker price of 47,777, when we started signing papers I noticed the sale price was adjusted to 49,500, the finance guy said that was cost that the shop did on the truck (come to find out the work he said was done wasnt actually done) had to take it back to get the oil changed that they said was done. Normally a cost like that is included in the sticker price, but I guess not at Tim Dahle. The truck was at empty when I picked it up, there was still garbage from the previous owner in it. Was only given one key fob, so I get to foot the bill to get a second one for a spare. Will not be going back.
SJ and Michael were super helpful and fun to work with! Honest dealership that will work with you and make sure everyone is happy!!
I bought a car here a few months ago, and spent about $6,000 over list price for warranties and service contracts and whatnot. I understood much of this, however, when I came back for my first service visit, which was supposed to be free, I ended up with $500 of surcharges for things like brake fluid and cabin air filters. I’ve driven the car for four months, so it’s safe to say that I’m frustrated that some of these problems weren’t addressed when I purchased the car. Maybe I should have expected this from a franchise dealer? I likely won’t be back for service again, simply because I don’t want to be nickel and dimed for every little thing on a new car
Only dealer in the area charging 7k over sticker price on a new car. Shop around and remember the dealers that are quick to price gouge. I wish I knew their policy before they wasted my time.
LADIES, READ THIS: My wife found a Rogue she liked. We had a trade, and they offered very little for it saying they would have to charge a fee of $1183 to bring our trade up to warranty. She said run it without the trade, we will keep the car for as little as they wanted to pay. So they told her they would drop the $1183 and pay us 3k for the trade. After HOURS and drawing up the paper work brow beating her into a corner, my wife found a random fee for $1183 listed as something else. The exact same amount he said he would take off. When she called him out on it, he attempted to gaslight her saying he didnt say he would take it off. The car on the lot had a sticker price of 21K. By the time they were done trying to put the screws to her, the car was $26,700 WITH THE $3000 TRADE IN!!! Wasted about 5 hours of her time. Then they tried to guilt trip her for staying so late and not buying the car. Dishonest bait and switch artists. Very evident they tried to take advantage of a woman coming in alone.
They always take great car of our cars and us! They were and are a pleasure to work with. They will be the first place i go for my first full size truck!
I asked him to make sure when they rotate the tires to look especially at the front right tire because it keeps saying it is low. When they finished I asked if they rotated and asked if anything was wrong with my tire and he said that they checked all the tires and they all fine and it was only low because of the change of weather. The very next day the same tire was low again. I went to fill it up and this time I finally found the screw that was in my tire.😡 not only did they not rotate my tires like they said they would, they did not assess my tires like I asked them to. Then they lied telling me they did.
Originally, I was going to come in for an oil change, but I knew I had some other things on the to do list given the mileage of my truck. I talked with Cody and he was helpful about things are recommended and going over my service history. So, I went ahead and did a ton of work on my truck and since my visit, my truck has been running great.
Sandra was very nice and helpful. She changed my key battery and I was in and out. Great service from great people. :)
The service crew were friendly and helpful. I really appreciated the shuttle service to and from my home while my car was being serviced.
Bro, not gonna lie this place is dope as heck. I came looking for a car just to be greeted by SJ Johnson with a big freaking smile on his face, made me feel at home, I nearly took my crocs off. 10 out of 10 would recommend looking for him if you come here, he went above and beyond to find the perfect car.
They give you the run around on price for hours, They dont stand behind extended warranty and Horrible customer service. On at least 5 occasions needed to speak with a manager, He was never there. Do yourself a favor and go to ANY other dealer!
I am not typically one to leave reviews but I felt like this needed to be shared. I had a used vehicle listed on FB Marketplace for $16,500. One of the salesmen reached out via messenger stating that they would be interested in purchasing my vehicle and that $16,5 was a reasonable price per his manager. I agreed to meet at the dealership on a Saturday to sell them my car. When we got there, they asked us to wait in the lobby while the looked everything over. They came back in and offered just over $12k and were not willing to negotiate past $14,5. I feel that the sales agent misled me over messenger just to get me to come to the dealership so they could give me a lowball offer and try to sell me a new vehicle on trade in.If I had known that I would be offered $4k less than I was asking I would not have spent my Saturday driving to Bountiful and pointlessly negotiating after being told my original asking price would be accepted. Bait and switch is an understatement.
Federico urquijo, was professional no pressure hastle salesman, was great with meeting our needs and helpped find the suv we were looking for!
Absolutely hooked me up with what I needed! Shoutout to Muhammad, he knows his stuff!
We had a great experience here. Isaac helped us and was great. We took our kids with and they made some messes around the dealership, but everyone was super kind about it. They got us out the door the same day with the vehicle we wanted, but it took a few hours. Because of that we were there late. When the kids started getting hungry and fussy they even went out of their way and picked up some dinner for us while we filled out paperwork. The fees are a little high (not bad for the benefits), but the monthly never varied from their original estimate. All in all a great experience.Edit: We went back to work out some logistics and I just want to give a shout out to Cardon for his excellent service as well.
My husband and I came in looking for a new car and we were so lucky a salesman named SJ was there to take care of us . SJ met and exceeded all our expectations. SJ made us feel like we were the most important customers in the world- or he made us feel like family. No high pressure tactics - just up front honesty . SJ was very knowledgeable, professional and funny . He made the car buying experience so fun. If you are reading this and need a car- go see SJ at Tim Dahle Nissan in Bountiful. Thanks SJ ! Thanks Tim Dahle Nissan Bountiful- you guys rock!
Benson was great. He had the car ready and waiting for us when we got there. He was knowledgeable about the car and gave us a full over view of everything inside and out! He made sure he asked what we were looking for and got to know us. Highly recommend this place! The sales manager introduced himself as well and made sure we were taken care of. Everyone was super friendly and the place was very upbeat!!!
Bought a car here a few weeks ago. Not even 2 days after buying it my AC went out. Even though I was told it had had an inspection and had passed most everything, and the things that hadnt passed had been fixed. When I brought it back for them to fix they said itd cost me $800. I found the parts I needed on rock auto for $45. Labor took me less than 30 minutes. The salesman (SJ) was nice and helpful but hes the only reason yall arent getting a 1 star review. I had a good experience up until their mechanics tried to screw me over.
Two thumbs down, zero stars, super lame. They exemplify all of the cliche negative characteristics of a dealership. I regret buying my car from here. After you think you’ve negotiated all of the hidden fees they hit you with a second round of hidden fees... then when you go to have the “worry free” maintenance completed the try to bait and switch with more overly priced maintenance items that were not included (not to mention an oil change takes 2 hours) Then to top it all off, as part of the no -negotiable fees they made me pay for “free key replacements” yet they are not capable of duplicating my key!!! Would not recommend to anyone
Isaac and SJ were great to work with! Not pushy and we are super excited for our new car!
Everyone here is so amazing and so easy to work with! Iddy helped me find the perfect car and was so kind to schedule me in to come see it! Muhhamad was AMAZING. He came with me on the test drive, he negotiated the price so well and was so easy to work with. He’s personable and made sure I felt comfortable, and him and Brad both were very clear with pricing, parts, and everything about the process! They left me with no additional questions and made sure I had everything under control and that I was comfortable when I left! Do yourself a favour and go buy a car from Muhhamad!!!
The associates were great but unfortunately the prices were way too much for the work I needed done so I had my truck worked on for 1/3 the price.
Great help and even got the price just right for what I could afford. Walked in not expecting too much and Isaac was a great help didn’t give me too much problems and was 100% transparent with me. Appreciate the help a ton. I even got the car I walked in wanting!
Flew in from CO to look at a vehicle they had listed under their used cars, was greeted at the airport by SJ who helped me through the entire transaction and negotiation process that ended in a successful purchase. Huge THANK YOU to SJ and those who made my purchase happen.
I needed to get a battery replacement and service my car. Cody was awesome, he was very informative about the services being done to my vehicle and answered all questions that I had. Super helpful and very professional. The services that needed to be done for my vehicle ended up being more than I anticipated and I was worried about how I was going to pay for it at once, but Cody informed me of another way that I could possibly do monthly payment if I’m pre-qualified. I ended up being pre-qualified for the monthly payment which was super helpful, thanks to Cody for telling me about it. Awesome service!!!
This was the absolute easiest dealership to do business with. Every aspect from when we walked in to when we were driving away in our new car was quick, easy, and efficient. I can’t stop telling everyone about it and passing out cards. Issac Bystrom and Iridiana Garcia we’re our sales representatives. They were great in answering all our questions. Carson Malan was able to jump in for the oddball questions and even got us set up with cool accessories. I can imagine a situation where this goes easier. Thank you all!
Slimey sales tactics, will try to scam you if you are naïve at all.We are in the process of selling our car on KSL. This dealership reached out and said they would give us $16,499.They said verbatim My boss told me to find these types of cars and said $16499 is a very reasonable price, will you sell it to us?We accepted and made the drive down. When we arrived they switched and lowballed us $12k (Grossly undervalue) and wouldnt negotiate above $14k (Still far under average value for our vehicle, and under the agreed price)There is a big difference between sales negotiation and outright scamming people and hoping they give up.If they had said they could consider $16,499 after looking at it and then changed their offer, sure, thats a legal and acceptable sales practice. Do not say your boss approves a price just to hope they give up and accept a lowball when they get there. That is a scam.Be very cautious if you go here! Hope this helps someone, stay safe out there.
Scheduled it this morning for the first time I want there 2hrs for an oil change only an hour.I was presented with a list of things that should be done soon. This is an always thing there’s seems to always be an update item. I’m ok with it but telling me multiple times I really should do it kept it from being 5stars. That and the paper floor mat and seat plastic were left on. I had to remove them and throw them away. What happened to the car wash with my oil changes?
Had routine maintenance and rear back brakes replaced. Kassandra was friendly and helpful. She was clear all costs and kept open communication about the time of service. I’ve loved having my cars service done at Tim Dahle Nissan in Bountiful.
My girlfriend went in to look at a used car and trade hers in. Once they lied about the price she said no. They CORNERED her into a cubicle with 5 salesman trying to make her feel stupid about not buying the car. She asked for her keys back multiple times and they would not give them to her. She had to call me to come get her, finally they gave her her keys back.
Tim Dahle contacted me to schedule an appointment for a safety recall on my vehicle. I arrived for the appointment on time. They convinced me I needed a few maintenance items done for my vehicle.I should have never fallen for their bait and switch. In the end after I lost my whole morning there and a few hundred dollars they told me they did not have the part for the recall and I would have to come back next week. This is the same place that told me when I was considering trading in a car that all cars are in fair condition after being driven off the lot.I am beyond disappointed with the integrity of this establishment.
The buying process was…okay. Typical car sales stuff. But post purchase? Terrible!! They have jerked me around so much. (Google yo-yo financing.) Just had to drive out to pick up my plates (I’ve literally never had to do that before. They’ve always arrived at my house) and I’m hopefully done with them forever. Do not recommend!
$200 for diagnosis that I got with the orilleys machine. Was hopeful that my extended warranty would be able to be used but no.
Worst experience ever! UNSATISFYING and VERY DISAPPOINTING! Salesperson didnt listen to my wants and needs. Couldnt get an out-the-door price. Added additional charges that were supposedly listed in the online ad but were not. Tried to speak with a manager but got ignored.SAVE TIME, MONEY AND FRUSTRATION AND GO ELSEWHERE!!!
Tim Taylor and Jason Lange are amazing to work with at Tim Dahle Nissan. I cannot overstate this! Typically, I buy cars only through private parties and avoid dealers altogether. I found a car I loved through the internet at Tim Dahle Nissan and I decided to give it a try. Both Tim and Jason were professional, courteous, genuine, personable and knowledgeable about the cars. Tim Taylor knows every little detail and minutiae about just ANY car manufacturer. His breadth of knowledge and passion for cars is infectious! I put them both through the paces because I am particular and do my research in advance to make sure I am getting the best deal as well as all the features I want in a car. I never felt pushed or rushed as they showed me several choices and I believe they genuinely cared and took the time to answer every question to ensure I was making the right choice. They went above and beyond to help me. They gave me an extremely fair price on my trade and the price of the car was much better than I anticipated. I opted for the lifetime powertrain warranty they offered (also reasonably priced). When I first called Jason, I laughed when he told me it was their goal to make me feel like a part of the Tim Dahle Family. I felt it was a bit trite - but I can honestly say, the customer service is outstanding - especially considering the lack of it from most institutions these days. I will be returning here for every subsequent car purchase and referring all friends and family. Thank you!
We went to Tim Dahle Nissan North salt lake and Sales man S.J. with his trainee Chris awesome service and sold us the van. Very awesome exciting friendly and very open. They even treated us to ono lunch. My wife and I are very impressed with their service very happy. Mahaloz and Aloha
They are the very definition of sleazy car salesmen. Dishonest scam artists that will intentionally sell you a lemon and then brag about it to your face. They dont deserve anyones business.
Had to take my car in for vehicle registration, and the staff was very helpful and courteous. They got the job done in a minimal amount of time.
My 2013 Titan required some expert evaluation. The diagnosis required driving on a rough road. When all was said and done the Titan is fixed and good as new. The service department kept me up-to-date on their evaluations. Even though my truck had to remain in service for several days they tried to expedite the stay as much as possible. I was assured that if the problem returned they would revisit the problem to my satisfaction. All the personnel involved with the repairs were professional and went the extra mile. Great service department.
My wife and I went to look at a Jetta, listed at $14,800. Test drove it and liked it. Asked the salesman if we could crunch some numbers real quick so they had us start signing a bunch of papers and then sent us back to talk to the financial guy. He pushed some papers to us without explaining anything like he just expected us to keep signing stuff. Eventually we got to the price of the car (almost 4 hours after waiting and signing papers), and told us it is $27,407!! Read that again, they nearly doubled the cars listing price from 14,800 to 27,400! No way I’m not gonna throw a low ball after that so I said 14,000 out the door and he said he could ask the person who makes prices but we would get kicked out. Anyways, we walked ourselves out without a car. We worked with two car salesman who were both great and friendly, Jose and Harrison. The financial manager, Cord I think, was definitely on a high horse.
Lots of hidden fees. The sticker price on their cars are meant to lure you in, but youll be paying thousands in fees for every used car (thats not even including Tax and Registration). I went in with cash in hand to buy a car as advertised for $9,700..but then they said they have a required $1,100 shop fee (which should be in the sticker price), $300 in paperwork, and then a required Break Plus and VTR for $700. Thats $2,200 in dealer fees (22% of the car value) before tax and registration! I understand dealership fees, but sneaking in a four figure shop fee and disguising it as anything other than profit is not ethical and I feel so bad for the customers who fall victim to their trap. Its a completely dishonest advertising strategy and based on the other comments, its a strategy they have clearly been deploying for quite some time.Their Better Business Bureau rating is an F and for good reason. Ill also be adding to that score when I file a complaint this afternoon.
Mitch and Benson were super helpful and nice. Very willing to answer any questions i had and also very willing to work with me.
Unfortunately, you will probably read this after youve purchased your car from here....If youre going to buy a used car here, do not accept a shop fee, a brake fee, an etching fee, and the list goes on. It will probably take you an hour and half of simple math with your salesperson and a manager to show them what makes sense to YOU. Dont let them sell you on a payment amount. (They may just increase the length of the loan to hit a payment amount...) Do the math on the vehicle cost with them, and if they keep putting fees up, WALK. We ended up purchasing the vehicle we wanted, but only after an hour and a half of refusing to pay extra fees and repeatedly doing second grade math with the sales team. Make them stick with their list price if you really like the vehicle. Basically, the dealerships sales process is designed to tack on a few thousand extra, pure gravy for them, extra payments for you.
