BEWARE! Carfix broke the lugs of my wheels while doing a simple tire rotation. Not a huge deal until they charged me $240 to fix their mistake. When I questioned how it happen they said “it happens here all the time. We have a Mini Cooper that had 4 lugs break out in the parking lot” This means they are either purposely doing it to increase revenue or they are that incompetent as mechanics and don’t know how to use basic tools. I am not sure which, but either way use caution with them.Wish I could do zero stars

Dave and his guys are fair and do their best to get you in and out. Great, clean, comfortable sitting area. I am always busy and when something happens to the car it really impacts my day. And CarFix is always there for me. This probably my 5th visit over the years. These guys are great.

I’ve been very happy with the service I receive at CarFix. I’ve been using them for my vehicles since they opened.

I brought my car on the first of June to do a check on the car air conditioning because it does not work, but instead the car was damaged and no longer fully working and stopped moving immediately after the inspection, which means that they did something wrong because my car did not suffer from that, it is It works perfectly and never stopped even in the winter and the snow accumulated on it, which caused me a great shock. Is it possible for you to just go to find out why your car’s cladding does not work, so it becomes completely broken, an extremely bad and unprofessional experience, and what is more, they refused to repair what they did, claiming to have many miles. And this has nothing to do with you damaging my car and it stops working completely, especially since it was working and never stopped and there was no problem with movement. Therefore, they are obligated to repair what they damaged without any cost, but they refused to even inform me of the cause of this malfunction that they caused for free and asked me to pay the value of disclosing the reason, and even funny and crying at the same time that they refused even a paper to disclose the problem of the air conditioning until after paying the value of the disclosure despite They damaged my car and I had to tow it to another workshop and it cost me a lot, in addition to my absence from work for more than two days because of their mistake in damaging my car, which was a huge financial and moral damage to me. Even when I asked them to contact the owner of the activity, they said that he is not available and that we cannot have an appointment with him Or talk to him even on the phone. In this case, I have to file a lawsuit against them and a dog for compensation for the mistreatment and damage to my car, disavowing their responsibility for it, and the possibility of losing my job because it is my only car. Therefore, I do not recommend in any way to deal with this place because it is so bad that they are unprofessional. I hope the owner sees this to save his investment.

From start to finish they do a phenomenal job of keeping you informed and taking care of your vehicle.

I knew I had a problem with my axle and the ball joints. I went their and they said exactly where the problem was, they also showed me and gave me a list with the most urgent problems.Friendly staff and they always try to get discount coupons for you. I got 75 on discounts in a job that was worth more than 400. They are fast and very professional.It was my first experience with them and I completely recommend CarFix to you get your car fixed.Thank you for the great customer service and for solving my problem.

These guys are the best. Craig was extremely nice to work with. Its obvious they care more about the customer than just trying to get their money. I will recommend them to anyone, and will certainly come back if I need more work done.

My sons both have well used cars & I have used these guys every time they needed some work done. Craig & the crew have been awesome to deal with, they analyze the problem, explain the repair in plain layman’s language, including cost, and then follow through with my wishes! They don’t “talk down” to you or act as if you don’t know what you’re talking about. (Though I often don’t) The repairs are completed on time & on budget. My husband and I are so thankful for this place!! We’ve already brought our cars here a few times for work/inspections and they always do a great job. Always so nice to have a car place you can rely on. Recently I lost my wedding band in the floor of the front seat and couldn’t get to it myself. I brought it to CarFix hoping they might be able to do something for me. The gentleman at the front immediately came right out with me, pulled a few pieces off to pull up the rug, and found my ring!! I was SO thankful and then even more so that he wouldn’t charge me anything for his troubles. We will absolutely be coming back for all our car needs! Thank you CarFix!!!

Car Fix failed my vehicle for NYS Inspection on Aug 10th, 2020. Service writer Dan indicated that because I had a small exhaust leak before the catalytic converter, my emissions failed, even though my check engine light was not on, and all the monitors had run and passed. Dan quoted a repair price of $797.43 to pass NYS Inspection. I asked Dan to show me in the rules (NYS document CR-79) where it indicates a failed NYS Inspection due to an exhaust leak before the catalytic converter, to which Dan said he would get back to me....but he never did.Thus, I called Albany, and filed the official complaint form VS-35. It took several weeks, but I eventually received a call from Albany who then directed my case to the local DMV on Dingens Street. I had subsequently taken the same vehicle to another repair shop (just 1 mile south of Car Fix on the Blvd), who passed my vehicle with no issues.The Inspector from Dingens Street reviewed my claim, and personally inspected the vehicle Oct. 1st, 2020. It was extremely clear to the Inspector that Car Fix made an inaccurate NYS Inspection. I am currently awaiting my refund for this error made by Car Fix.I used to take my vehicles to Car Fix and never had any issues. However, this was my first interaction with Dan. Dan indicated that he has been with Car Fix since ~March 2020. I am extremely hesitant to go back to Car Fix with Dan making incorrect suggestions or recommendations, especially ones that are so basic like not knowing/understanding a NYS Inspection. You would think someone like Dan, who claims to have 30+ years of experience with NYS Inspections, would know the rules inside and out. Or maybe Dan was just trying to upcharge a costly exhaust repair at my expense, which was never needed to begin with to receive a passing NYS Inspection.To the owner of Car Fix, the most recent interactions with your auto repair shop and specifically with Dan, have helped me to find a different and better Auto Repair shop than yours. Thank you.

This was my first time at this shop. Recommended by several members of my family. They were extremely accommodating, personal, down to earth, and the work they did was great. I appreciated the time they took to call me and give me several updates, before and after work was done. This is my new service shop. If they keep up this small neighborhood shop feel and reliable no corners cut workmanship, they will make the previous owner (Mike Rexford) very proud.

Took my car here to get the front alignment checked. I told them multiple times to only look at the front end, I did the lower control arms the day prior and the car is on lowering springs, lowered one inch. Dropped the car off at 10am. Got a call at noon saying my tie rod jam nuts were seized, so they were going to charge me for two extra hours of labor. The mechanic also talked about the rear camber and how screwed it was, meaning my car would never be aligned properly (the mechanics words, not mine). I was told my concern was with rear camber. That is obviously not the case, as I have said the opposite.I was very clear: check the front alignment only. I have no other issues. Only check the front alignment. Dont worry about the rear. The rear of my car is completely fine, there is slight camber which naturally is a little negative due to lowering the car, but it is not out of spec. I was asked about other issues over and over after I said that, to which I responded clearly to only do the front alignment. Loosening the jam nut is part of doing an alignment, so charging extra labor for a normal part of an alignment is not okay. After being asked the same questions over and over, and them not being receptive to what I was asking them to do to my car, I will not be going here again. I walked in with the wrong attitude, and was not very nice to the guy at the desk, but the fact that they tried getting two hours of labor out of me and would not be receptive to me asking for just a front alignment is not cool. Do not recommend if you work on your own car.

Received great service at CarFix today! Had problems with air conditioning/heat pipe. There was smoke coming out from underneath the hood. The guys fixed everything in no time. One of my windshield wipers were broken. They replaced both of them! Also they put on new winter tires, my were getting bald. My inspection is coming up and I know exactly where to go to! Good work guys! Thanks for the candy and coffee! Also bought some local honey there!

Ive been here coming here since they opened, and every time has been an excellent experience (at least, as excellent as it can be when you need to have your car worked on, LOL). They are super nice guys, and honestly, Craig is a wizard! My older Scion was getting really loud and I had a feeling it was not going to be good news. Sure enough, it needed major work. Got a few quotes, then took it to Craig. He replaced my entire exhaust system, the WHOLE THING, while coming in at a price 40% lower than anyone else, and even throwing in a new muffler for free. He did it because the old muffler appeared fine, but after reattaching it, he noticed a problem. The other places I got quotes from also told me that the muffler was fine. It wasnt something obvious, and I can guarantee that NONE of them would have waived the price once they saw it needed to be replaced. No way. The guys at Carfix are kind, honest, fast, extremely reasonable, and they really care about their customers. Craig also has a great sense of humor and really made the whole experience stress-free. I wont go anywhere else! THANKS SO MUCH Craig and everyone who works there!! 👍😊❤️

Quick reasonably priced fixes for my car. Went and mentally made them my go to auto place.Back again for an inspection and oil change. Once again excellent fast service with attention to detail and smart mechanics.

On 3/14/19 I stopped here for a first visit and an oil change. The person at the desk afterwards presented me with an estimate for a brake job he said I needed now for $685.64. I took my car to an independent mechanic and he told me my brakes are fine for quite a while to come. Nice try Carfix. I will not only never go back there again, but warn all others.

Theyre awesome. I just got my first car about a year ago and I had no idea what I was going to do when it came to service and repair. One of my friends reccomend this place and it changed my life. I go to them for oil changes, check engine lights, everything.Theres nobody even CLOSE to them!

I found a car posted online for sale at this location. Price seemed too good to be true, and it was. The ad clearly stated that it was a CLEAN TITLE and the employees spoke about how it was a one owner car and said nothing about it being salvaged. Before I left, I made sure to take a picture of the vin. I paid for a car fax once I got home and found an accident record. Salesperson was rude and withheld valid information. NOT TO BE TRUSTED.

They went above and beyond our expectations. We had a thermostat fail and a coolant leak all over our engine while on vacation. By the time we had it towed to carfix, it was past 2pm. We had to be somewhere else the next day. They stayed late to fix it in 1 day. That made all the difference for our vacation. Great service!

This place is fast, trustworthy, and more professional that other car repair places in the area. Oil changes etc. are reasonably priced, and Craig changed my broken blinker for free. (props to craig) All this combined with the fact that I occasionally find a coupon for this place, makes it my go-to option for my various car troubles. The coffee, however, is a different story that I wont have time to put into this review. 5 stars though. EDIT: They got a Keurig, coffee crisis averted.

I had a tire on my auto that had a slow leak since I had purchased the tires. Each time I asked to have it checked by the place where I purchased the tires, they advised me they could not find any leak. I was filling the tire each week. CarFix found the leak on my first trip there. It has not leaked since they repaired it. From my experience, these people know what they are doing. I am going take all our vehicles there now.

Headlight was out on my Toyota Corolla. No time to stop at Northtown. They found a bad connection & fixed at no charge! Very honest and took me in quickly - would use them again!

I took my car in the same day I called them to have a leaky fuel line fixed. I ended up being late for the appt & they still took care of me. Before & after the repair they showed me the line while it was up on the lift.They even stayed past closing to finish the job since i wasnt able to come back for another 7 days. They also called a couple of days later to make sure everything was ok with the repair. Such nice, friendly & professional guys in that shop. Did a great job. Give them a try!

An honest establishment with straight shooters all across the board. I was worried that I needed new brake pads and rotars, so I called to see if they could fit me in. First thing in the morning the next day they had my vehicle on the lift and were showing me how my brake pads and rotars still looked solid. I was relieved that I didn’t have to drop a bunch of cash and other places may have tried to take me for a ride, but these guys are good people. I would recommend Car Fix in North Tonawanda to everyone!!!

I just had an annual inspection, oil change, tire rotation done. What an amaizing experience I had there. Their prices are excellent, 1/2 of corporate competitors. It didt take long so I stayed while the work was being done. Nice new building and atmosphere. The best part they were honest, no bs such as other auto repair centers Ive been to or Northtown Toyota in Amherst, NY(what a cluster@!=%). Great service, and the owner/employees are very expeienced/knowledgeable. I will make all of my vehicle maintenance appointments at this new car repair center. Overall expeience, amaizing!
