Had the pleasure of doing my very first eye exam with them, and I was very impressed!! They went the extra mile to ensure a clean, sanitary and also comfortable office space, waiting area and examination area! The doctors took excellent care and time for me to fully understand and get the proper prescription lenses!! I loved the styles they had available!! It was nice too because the gentleman that was helping me pick frames assured me that all of the frames are sanitized after every person touches them!! I didn’t even have to worry about picking glasses and only judging based on my eyebrows, they allowed me to be in a 6 feet away from anyone space and mask off to try them out!! I picked out some really adorable frames!! Thank you so much mid city options!! I can’t wait to pick up my new frames!!

We called today to make an appointment for glasses. The man told us they were closed since 3:30 pm and he couldnt get out of there. Right now, it is 4:30 pm. The business hours on Google (updated 3 weeks ago) say they are open and have appointments past 4pm. The man told me those hours are incorrect and to refer to their website. I went online to their website, the hours there say they are open past 4pm also. This is not accommodating for children in school. This business appears unorganized and very unprofessional. I would not recommend them based on my very brief experience.Photos are attached to this review to show the business hours (that apparently dont exist).

Amazing and personable staff. The doctor is wonderful and really breaks things down in a clear way that isn’t at all condescending. Other staff helped me find the perfect glasses and contacts for my needs. Glad I followed through with the recommendation gave to me!

Outstanding staff and doctor! My mother and I visited and called numerous times for consultation and they always helped us by answering all our questions. They got us in right away! Personal service and great selection. Brent, Ross, Janet and Dr. Eric. I have been going here since about 1975? When I got my 1st pair of glasses and they were across the street in the Plaza!

I brought my 11 year old and my 9year old the doctors were wonderful! Made the kids feel part of the whole procedure. I will continue coming here just because how wonderful they were with the kids!

Very terrible service. I called there to repurchase my contact lenses. I asked several questions to make sure if my insurance covered the cost of the lenses. She was very rude by saying “what?”, when I asked her politely if I could ask her a question. I won’t recommend this place. I even didn’t want to give one star to this place. Please be professional. Your job is to answers questions which are related to your work.

What a wonderful experience going here. Within a week I had my glasses and the staff were patient and helpful.

I never even made it to my appointment, so I cannot comment about that service. But I will say that if you have any type of problem with your insurance, especially with the New Year I would recommend finding another business. Im not sure they believe in good customer service, or human service for that matter. They called me the morning of my supposed visit telling me I had denial of services so I needed to call my insurance. So after a different appointment I had I went ahead and did that. I also had a different health provider run my insurance, and guess what-it was fine and everything! So after already making 3 phone calls, half an hour of my life I will never get back, I called Mid-City Opticians back and was told well when they ran it through a computer (notice the no-human part) it comes back denial. So I asked for the phone number of the third party vision company that does the processing (ie. Red-tape), figure Ill make another call, I was told they deal with a computer. Last time I checked computers do make mistakes. I had done my part of phone calls on my end, it is on their end that the mistake happened (a company I have nothing to do with, make no interactions with now or ever), and yet its now my responsibility to call and get this problem resolved. Their laziness and ineptitude is shocking. Again, a third party company they deal with (Im not the establishment, I dont process claims), not only do they not have a phone number so the customer could do more work, they flat out refused to try to help. So in summary if you want to go to an establishment, give your time which is a precious commodity in todays world, and also have to do a great portion of their job then please pick this place. If not, please, go somewhere else. I have contacted the better business bureau (BBB), and am in the process of filing a complaint. I also found out through the BBB that this establishment is not accredited, and has had complaints filed before, maybe thats why I was told to go ahead and contact the BBB when I told them I was going to. Now I did indeed get loud at one point, and swore once at the employee, at the human being. I will say I swore after I called them back because I was hung up on, and I do in fact publicly apologize for my rudeness, it was uncalled for, hurtful, and demeaning. To the individual I swore at I beg your forgivess, how I handled myself was rude and unnecessary and I truly hope you get to read this, it hurts myself to know I hurt you, I am truly, deeply, and genuinely sorry. Really though, step back and look at the situation from my point of view. It doesnt matter if that is the way you folks do things, policies need to change, how is it my job, my responsibility? I did my part, more than ones usual part. So step up and do something positive and encouraging for someone, instead of telling someone we dont call anyone to try and process your claim. Until something is done, accomplished, my rating is 0 out of 5 (negative numbers were not available).

Great people who work here but the hours in which to get in for eye exam are not convenient at all since the Dr is only there just a few days a week.

The Optometrists there are the friendliest Ive ever dealt with. Definitely recommend using Mid-City Opticians.

Make sure your on-time! I was 15 min late to my apointment and now I have to reschedule.

GREAT LOCAL EYE CARE

I am only giving a 1 star because I cant give a zero. The frames are so cheap they are always breaking and staff is snippy and rude when need to fix them. And when you issues to fix this mistakes in the glasses they are all nasty when you want to see out of your new glasses but they are hurry and they wont correct it.

I called to inquire about having a pair of frames repaired. The person on the other end of the phone acted like I was being a pain for even asking, and was extremely condescending. I will go miles out of my way to go to another buisness

Everyone is friendly but they need a much bigger office!!
