I went here twice today--once for the chicken and wild rice soup; and once for the pepper steak soup. So delicious--pepper steak soup Id never had before. It is so refreshing to see this small business be busy. The owner is fabulous. She makes so many different kinds of soup even some vegan soups and gluten-free soups. Open Monday through Thursday. This is one small business so worth supporting. You can get your soup in 8 oz or 16 oz. There are sandwiches and homemade pie. Stop in a few times chances are your name will be remembered.

First time at Soup Lady was the most enjoyable time !! I had a cup of awesome Loaded Potato soup & a great tuna sandwich! Mom had Chili & an egg & olive sandwich!! It was all delicious!!!We had the most pleasant conversation with the owner Barb & her daughter Chara(hope the sp. is right) until they got so busy between the phone orders & the hungary patrons for lunch!! We had to go on our way however, we will be back, Soon!!! PS We both bought soup to bring home - Chicken veg for me & the Loaded Potato for Mom!! The folks at the old Chapel Antique store recommended we go here when we asked for a good local place to get some lunch. What an awesome discovery! Barb made us feel welcome and boy can she cook. I had the Italian Italian sausage sandwich. My hubby had a cheeseburger. We tried the Polish sausage soup. We also caved and had dessert. 😜 I tried the million-dollar pie (like ambrosia) and my hubby had the peanut butter cream pie. Both of them were great. We will definitely make a point of coming here next time we visit the Falls area. ** Be sure you have cash, because she does not take plastic. **

4 1/2 stars really. Its a diner. A cool 1928 era diner thats a little bit tired, while staying true to its roots. Fantastic pies are made by the 88 year old mother of the extremely nice, down to earth semi retired owner who is usually a one woman show. Patience is absolutely required if shes busy, but worth it if you like home style comfort / diner food. Only open Monday through Thursday for lunch and dinner as she takes off weekends, holidays, and even a mental health day on occasion. Labour of love, not necessity.Limited menu, soups are the specialty with sandwiches to compliment. Serve yourself cans of soda and coffee and thats pretty much it. Enjoy

I stopped here because I was across the street visiting a friend who was not home yet. The food was delicious. I had a tuna melt and it tasted so good. I am definitely stopping there again. Thanks for the great service and the tasty food.

I havent had a hearty soup with a sandwich as yummy as this since childhood. Not only is the food and service wonderful but all my memories as a child surfaced making it even more wonderful! Thank you Soup Lady!!!

I asked for a rare 7oz burger and that what EXACTLY what i got. The flavour and juiciness was simply amazing. My gf got a tuna melt and i tell you what... That was hands down the best tuna melt Ive ever had in my life.This place is cozy, comfy, super-welcoming and in a phrase- absolutely worth the visit.

Okay full disclosure...the Soup Lady is my sister. That being said, I assure you I would not waste your or my time posting if her food were not just fabulous. Everything I try I like, even things I think I wont. Everything she make is very flavorful and made with love. Maybe thats why it is so darn tasty.
