Ive been a customer here for well over 20 years. John and his staff are very friendly and courteous. Beer stays pretty cold and if you really want something special john can sometimes help you out. Ill say this... Im going to relocate soon and house of spirits is the only place i will miss in Jennings county.

Dingy looking, the location here does what youd expect, sells alcohol. Unfortunately that selection if pretty sparse and better yet, they are selling beer past the best by date by months... Check your inventory, this is embarrassing for you guys, customers shouldnt be the ones finding out. Still three stars because booze.

This small chain takes an interest in the community by cashing payroll checks, even hand written ones, and during non banking hours! This is providing the owner knows the issuing entity. They are staffed by friendly, mature workers and the stores are very clean. If you dont see what you like to drink on the shelves, the owner is generally persuaded to order some if you are a frequent shopper. They have many of the quaint beers from start-up breweries and the tried and true. When I was on foot I was offered a sample of the newest liquor. They are very close to 5 stars in my book!
