I came to buy a lawn mower today. I was standing and walking around the mower’s alley for 30 minutes and have not seen any associate.Finally I had to approach one of the customers to get some answers to the questions I had. He was extremely nice and helpful and helped me to choose the mower that would work for me.Then he left and I remained there waiting for an associate hoping that he/she at least could help me to load the cart. Nobody was available.So, I went to my car, ordered this mower online with a store pickup option. I thought it was the only way to get that mower loaded on a cart because I was not able to lift it.I was in my car, working on my real job on the computer. In about another 30 minutes I received a message that my order was ready for a pick up.I walked to a store but the order was not ready, so I had to wait for another 20 minutes while they find and load my mower on a cart.Then a lady just got me a cart with my mower on it and said I was free to go. Of course I did not feel comfortable to ask her to load the mower into my car, and all associates there were ladies and young girls. So I had to drug the cart to my car and look for another stranger/customer asking for a hand.And, again, another man turned out really nice and loaded the mower to my car.Unfortunately, I don’t know where to leave 5 star reviews for all those strangers/customers who helped me today to make a business to this Home Depot where I got no help what so ever.I remember better times but there were other employers there.

Great place to shop, they are always willing to help and take you directly to the item your are looking for. Everyone I had a list of items, I was personally helped they out the whole list.

About half the people are really helpful. The rest have a get it yourself attitude, and many do not want to stop chatting with their fellow co workers to answer a question. Women in lighting and plumbing have been the most disinterested in helping. The really young men are mostly flip and dismissive in their replies.

The HD in North Versailles has a very good staff of regular workers. Today the paint guy was informative, cheerful, and very helpful.

I go to this store weekly so u have been able to get to know them. Overall the employees genuinely care which is Rare. There nice fun polite thats what keeps me coming back. To many people give reviews on price or out of stock. Like majority of stores the employees dont control that but they can check other stores or possibly order it for you. I am a PRO account but also a regular shopper with a family and this Home Depot is out go to store. The employees name this a good store and place to shop. Attitude is everything. Thank you

Bryson was pleasantly personable & extremely helpful. He approached and asked if I needed any help... I think he noticed that my stubbornness wasnt going to easily let me admit my confusion. Thankfully he didnt keep walking when I told him no! Instead.. He stopped by nearby shelving and while organizing products, he began talking to my children about the items in the Halloween department. Then while the girls were consumed with their giggles.. he politely again asked if he could be of any help. His awareness and creative approach made rambling thru all my question very comfortable. He was very knowledgeable with his answers... And even had a few helpful tips. Bryson definitely helped to made it a great shopping experience! I also have to mention the girl, Samantha P, working at the front register.. she was also very pleasantly helpful and quick to go out of her way to answer my questions. She kept me from purchasing incorrect items.. and then kept me laughing thru my entire checkout! 😬🐙

I really like this Home Depot store in N.Versailles, it seems to have a more neighborhood feel to it. Its a Home Depot so the usual expectations will be found, but I feel less overwhelmed at this store, friendly employees, well stocked, and clean & well organized. Easy to get to & close to home.

I love home depot.. but dont ever rack up credit with them or believe theyre giving you 0 percent apr. My statement looks like a quantum entanglement equation. Then for example if you owe 10k your monthly payment is going to be 1k a month. Rendering o percent apr useless anyway. Your payment is so high its getting paid off fast anyway. But theyre still charging me apr. If you call corporate they switch you to local store where they try and appease you by taking 50 or 100 off a 2k refrigerator because they dont understand the billing either. Go to lowes. Wish I knew all this before hand

I took my uncle wirh me to shop for a weed whacker for his place.....he has Parkinsons and not one of the SIX motorised scooters were charged drove back home to get wheel chair because his walker just wasnt enough for him and he tired out fast. When I got a hold of the manager he seemed not to care he was too busy to talk long about. I will NOT SHOP there again.

Home Depot staff and managers top notch always treat me well - Carpet team is another story - Horrible installation - why must I deal with the middleman in the first place- hard time getting in touch with them - tell me that they would arrive at the house around 9:30 to inspect the issues then the night before they send me a text telling me their arrival time is between 3-7 pm - and if there are any problems call a different number try calling and its after hours - why would you send a text after hours - Has been a Nightmare since day one - will still be a customer at H.D- but will NEVER buy carpet from them Again ! I.M.O home d . Should not Farm Out services their large enough to have their own Team of Craftsman and women !Im still pounding down the tacks from the tackstrips that are protruding through the carpet on the steps- seams were not done correctly - they didnt fill in the divots that were under the old carpet they swept old debris in the holes i would assume they should have filled with some type of hardener not just dust and pebbles YIKES

Prices for bolts are way too high.Home depot are greedy. Bought 10 boltson Ebay for 5 dollars. Paid 8 dollars for3 bolts at home depot. Also had to buystainless steel bolts, not good for aluminum. Now waiting for the right boltsfrom Ebay.

Had to bring back a portable a/c unit that was damaged. I called before we brought it back, and explained that it was the last one on the floor when we got it. She said oh well we have air conditioners in multiple places in store. We will have another one. We got back to store, the woman at the returns was very rude, never said hello. I explained what had transited. She looked in computer and said they didnt have anymore. I told her what I e as told on phone and she did well guess she was wrong! Said there are 10 of them in west mifflin store. Go there and get one.Told her i was not happy as now I wasted another trip here AND now have to go to another store to get another one. Never said Im sorry for the inconvience or anything. VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE IN NORTH HUNTINGDON STORE. Will not return there!

Had to get a soldering torch replaced and they had only one left. Manager was very helpful and handed me the last one they had... (bernzomatic has lifetime warranty and replacement ) so Id consider that very top customer service. These arent available in the area unless I drove 50 miles but they gave me their last one. Apparently not going to be carried anymore so I really appreciated the consideration. I can say that I shop at the other big box home store that begins with L, and they are NOT customer focused. They care about their store more. Home depot North Versailles gets two thumbs up from me.

Ladies, this place makes shopping for household remodeling jobs so easy! Especially for women! The second I walked in there everyone in the place knew I had no clue what I was doing! So they rushed to help! Yet they talked to me like a person and listened as I badly explained it! Even helped me pick out the right product! Totally stopped me from wasting time wonder the store or buying the wrong thing I would have to return! Got me all the right stuff! Didnt have to return one thing! And they helped me figure out a few more things I had no clue about! Very helpful, even for us women who think we know it all! 😊🙏🏼

I got good plants to buy and use them to be plant in the front and backyards too.

Very very rude employees. Hard to find an employee. And then this young short little boy gave me a god-awful hard time letting me use my husbands veteran discount. The only bright spot was the woman who went out of her way at the checkout to get authorization. You should hire more like her she was very pleasant. This is the reason I do the bulk of my shopping at Lowes.

Went here to buy a washer and dryer. Could not get anyone to wait on me. The sales person Barb told me I would have to wait and I waited twenty minutes. Then went to Lows and got the same washer and dryer for eighty dollars less and delivered the next day.

I hate Home Depot. After allthese years you still need a person to helpmyou find things and employees are mostly trying to avoid you. But they are very social in groups, which how you find them for help.

Usually have what I need. Employees are mostly helpful, though Ive had more walk by me then ask if I need help (assuming that has a lot to do with the primary demographic being contractors that dont want much help). Reason for the rating is that Ive heard management and employees sound crazy, yelling at customers about wearing masks. Some people dont want to wear them, despite the mandate. If they choose not to, you already arent approaching them while theyre shopping, so just make them use self-checkout. Most of your customers spend their day inhaling all kinds of dust, powders, etc from the basic hazards of their job, so putting a mask on is actually tough for them. Even if you want to enforce the mandate, yelling at customers in front of other customers just makes me, as a regular Joe, want to go somewhere else. Not a good look. Professionalism is key in a crowded retail space.

Got everything for my holiday projects. I placed my online order expecting it to take a day or so to pull. Just a few hours later, I received the email saying it was ready for pick up. Arrived too late for curbside pick up; in store staff was courteous and efficient, offering to help me load the car. Thanks!

Just a regular hardware store. Nothing special nothing bad either. They have alot available but its mainly for up to date more modern projects. For example if u rebuild lawn boys, you wouldnt find any parts here. But if u were fixing a modern mower something 8 years old

Was shopping the Home Depot at the North Versailles location (store # 4156) for a Champion 27 Ton log splitter.I was asking them to price match another Home Depot store 18 miles away. The difference in price was$100 plus tax for the exact piece of equipment.Even after an associate talked to a manager, they wouldnt move on the price.This cost me several hundreds in lost wages (extra time), truck rental, and toll road fees.Following my purchase, I returned to this store to show them the reciept and the tag of the item I purchased. I voiced my concerns to no resolve. Unwillingness to right the wrongs with the customer led me to leave this review, buyer beware.

Purchased a GE refrigerator on 11/10/20. Delivery is today on 11/16/20. At time of purchase we were not asked if we needed removal of old fridge. I immediately called home depot when we got home. Spoke to John who assured me that he phoned GE and arranged for delivery men to remove and take old fridge. Delivery men are here now and had NO idea they were to take old one. Got home depot on the phone and they said they dont know what happened but spoke to delivery man and told him to take it. Now delivery men are in a trick bag due to their boss who gave them a specific time frame to only deliver. No respect and no efficiency of Home Depot. What is so hard about doing youre job?! Sales person should have asked and when I called to make sure the old fridge must be taken, John should have FULLY FOLLOWED THROUGH ON HIS END. Incompetence for a big company such as this, is innexcusible and not acceptable. Next appliance in this house will be purchased at a small local appliance store. No more from this business.

Someone bought me a electric weed whacker and hedge trimmer combo here and I’ve used it exactly 2 times and it just stopped working so I went there and asked if I could just exchange it for one that works, now I get it I don’t have the receipt and I didn’t buy it so I have no idea what card was used to buy and it and I’m not calling family members and asking them for their credit card information. I didn’t want cash or even store credit I simply wanted something that worked and was told that they couldn’t do anything. I won’t ever be shopping there again, basically because something was given to me as a gift they’re saying that they don’t have to guarantee that it works.

They definitely need to train more people to cut keys. Actually all employees should have an understanding and training in every department.

Wish I could give zero. I had to get blinds trimmed to be the right height and the employee cut then the wrong size. So I had to go back the next day to get them cut again and the same person was there and after he trimmed he didnt want to re seal the 2 boxes of blinds he opened so that was another problem. My mother goes to get another employee and they make fun of her for needing the box re taped. Then 2 more employees showed up and they all just start joking about the tape. And then the one employee from the day before starts saying bad things about us under his breath. Im never going here again. All the employees around the blinds area are rude and very disrespectful.

Ive always said its the employees that make or break a business and at this Home Depots kitchen dept the 2 girls that work there were fantastic!Me and my wife stopped at another HD and Lowes for a quote on kitchen countertops and couldnt even find anyone to wait on us! Within 30 minutes at this particular Home Depot location we were out the door with quote in hand on exactly what we wanted! Now thats service! Great job girls! Thank you!

Drove to the location because the website listed a quality of 36 metal roofing panels. Since I only needed 7 I figured they would have it. Should have known better because there were only 6 on the shelf and the associate said there were no more. Well I told them Id take the 6 they had in 10ft lengths and 1 in 12 ft. Well they were all scratched up and dented. They offered me a small discount, but why would I want to put heavily scratched and dented panels up? Then they told me I could drive another 20 mins out of my way to another store that had some, while I already drove 20 mins past my hometown homedepot to their store. Ill just pay the extra money and purchase what I need at lowes over driving even further. Very disappointed in homedepot since I normally have no issues at my home location.

I was looking for a propane portable gas heater which is why I went to homedepot. Carts were well organized outside the entrance which allowed room in the vestibule. I guess since there was no precipitation, it made sense to leave them outside by the entrance for customers. A customer thought they were in the vestibule and had to come back out for one. It is funny how we get conditioned. Since I was not familiar with the location of the heaters and the Wi-Fi appeared to be acting up on my phone, I went to customer service and asked for help. Fortunately one of the employees who has worked with homedepot for 25 years! took me to what I needed. I appreciated his kind gesture. I got what I wanted, proceeded to assisted self- checkout where this very pleasantly professional lady helped me out. It really was a great experience. The store was not crowded.

Looking for a washer & went up to look at the model we wanted. An associate, John, was very helpful when we asked about different appliances. Despite the sale, the model we wanted wasnt in stock due to Covid19. Shipments were sporadic but he said to check during the pre-black Friday sales that are coming up. HD should give vouchers for items on sale that arent in stock, Covid19 or no Covid19!

Have never been happy with the service at this location, but we needed paint and the price was right compared to others. The gentleman in the paint department was very helpful and had me in and out with over 10 gallons of paint, all special colors, within a half an hour. We used the self check out and a lovely lady in that department was very helpful and even offered to ring up all of our merchandise for us. I will definitely give them another chance in the future. Im hopeful that we will receive the same treatment as we are restoring an old Victorian home and will be in need of a lot more merchandise.
