I was recommended to bang bang body arts by multiple close friends! I got my lobes pierced and the piercer made it a very comfortable experience even though i was very nervous! The woman at the front counter gave me a range of jewelry to choose from and helped me pick sizes and styles. They were all super professional and its safe to say i will not be going to any other shop ever again!

I first went into bang bang on my 18 birthday for a cartilage piercing and I have been a recurring customer for 2.5 years since. Jay O has pierced me 10+ times and every single time the placement, healing, and over all experience is top tier. I have also gotten tattoos from over four staff members and every single time I have been treated so well (asked if I want food,water,candy evrytime.) coming here is a place where if you care about the ART of tattoos,piercings,tooth gems, permanent makeup you can trust you are investing your money wisely. I have had no problem recommending this place to countless friends and family. Also- the place is CLEAN clean.

This place does just as good as any other safe and clean piercing place. The issue is their pricing. They are RIDICULOUSLY expensive. Also the miscommunication over the phone about pricing was frustrating. The day before I called and they told me it would cost “$80-$90 for one nose piercing and one nipple piercing depending on jewelry chosen”. However, it ended up being $70 per piercing. There is no reason titanium jewelry plus the “labor” should cost that much. My sister went to a safe and clean place in providence last weekend and got one nipple and one nostril piercing for $70 total. Save your money!

Genuinely the best experience I’ve had being pierced. Jayo was super honest with me about most cost effective options and what would look best on me. The studio itself was so clean and professional and everyone working there was so kind (they were honestly just as excited as I was for my piercing!). I was a little nervous but Jayo, again, did such a fantastic job settling my nerves and explaining everything step by step. I’ll definitely be back. This place rocks!!

My wife experienced a discrepancy on pricing. Make sure you confirm pricing once youre in the shop not just over the phone. They will tell you one thing over the phone and next thing you know, youre paying $75 for a piercing ($40 for the labor and $35 for the jewelry). If youve gotten a piercing before, youll realize this is expensive. Also, do your due diligence as a buyer if youre buying any of their jewelry. Make sure you ask if any are adjustable because they will not volunteer the information even though something, like adjustability should be included in their description of a piece of jewelry where one-size-fits-all might be a problem.

My son wanted his ears pierced and I wanted my eyebrows pierced. First time going here and they were awesome. My son was a bit nervous. But Jay was so cool and relaxed it eased my son right away. It was a great bonding experience. Im definitely gonna go back for more piercings and my tattoos.

Got a quick walk in tattoo from Matt Unsderfer (Working Class Zero Tattoo) while on a trip and he did a great job. the lines were crispy and clean and done in a timely manner. 10/10 would tattoo again.

I love getting piercings here by Jay. Everyone is super friendly and Jay always makes me feel super comfortable since I get nervous around needles. Jay re-pierced my tragus since I didnt like the placement (done by a different shop) and I totally love it now. Ive had about 4 or 5 piercings done here and now that Ive been here I dont think Ill get pierced anywhere else. Enjoyed every experience Ive had here, cant wait to come back!

I got a tattoo from Matt and he gave me all the information and was very understanding, this was my first actual tattoo and he walked me through the process and it turned out great! My mom and i will definitely be coming back to get more tattoos from him!

Jay was nice and explained the process of the piercing for me since it was my first piercing, and assured me it wouldn’t fall out. But when it fell out a month later they didn’t make any effort to fit me in for an appointment before the hole closed up, or give me any advice over what to do. :/

Nick quoted me 300$ for 2 tattoos and then when it was time to check out he charged me 400$ and pretended we never had that arrangement. I was definitely RIPPED OFF.There was no miscommunication! Before we do anything, I asked him how much is gonna cost for both tattoos and he said 300$, I was supposed to get both tattoos at the same day and we agreed on 300$ for both, my friend was there and he confirmed that but Nick denied what he said earlier.

I got my first tattoo here with Matt, him and the people on his team were amazing. Very clean, welcoming, and supportive through the whole thing. I suggest this place for any tattoo!!

I got 2 helix piercings from Jay O - super considerate and very transparent the whole time. The piercings were quick and (mostly) painless! He made jokes which for sure put me at ease. I appreciate him!My friend called a few days ago wanting a tattoo of a turtle. The process was easy - she emailed in the picture and we showed up today! The shop asks for a $75 deposit, but she wasnt able to get it figured out over the phone/by email. No issues today, and Jason is doing a killer job. Ill update with the finished product when hes done!

Jay is simply fantastic. This is our third visit back. Just pierced my daughters septum. He was truly empathetic, compassionate, fast, efficient and truly on point. He is a master of his craft. All of the staff is warm, welcoming and simply fantastic people, We make a point of stopping in just to say Hi and appreciate them for who they are and what they do.

I’ve gotten 4 tattoos total from both Matt and Nick there in 2020, they are both amazing artists to work with and very friendly. I haven’t gotten any piercings here yet because of Covid but Jay O is friendly and chats while Im there for tattoo appointments as well. Nick was able to work with me and 2 of my friends on our first tattoos all in the same day as well as a very meaningful one and I will say that he makes the process a lot less scary and is super sensitive to the clients comfort level and needs. Jay even checked in once while I was sitting for a tattoo and brought me a juice box because I was looking a little pale 😅 awesome service and welcoming environment, the only reason i’d ever choose a different shop would be if I were looking to switch it up or bang bang wasn’t available.

I would say this review isnt totally fair because I didnt go in and get anything done, but it did make me a bit upset that the minimum staring price for a tattoo was $100 when my tattoo i wanted was itty bitty. Less than an inch by an inch and you wanna charge me $100? I dont know about that. Bang bang body arts is definitely for people looking to spend ✨money✨ on their tattoos, which isnt necessarily a bad thing, but if you want a small impulse tattoo, dont go to them. Id go to Inkd by Coleman in Chicopee instead. Great price, great art.

They were so great, Jay explained everything in a way that didnt make me squeamish (I told him I have a phobia of needles) was super professional and quick, and the peircing turned out amazing. Would definitely return for a future piercing. Pricing was really decent, my total was 75 including my jewelry

My friend and I popped in to Bang Bang yesterday. Lucky for us Jay O had some time to pierce our noses. He was wonderful. He made the process so comfortable. Lots of laughs were had. The shop is beautiful too!

I went to get my nipples pierced today with my best friend and Jay did an amazing job. He was very friendly and kept reassuring us that everything would be fine. He was open and honest and extremely friendly. I’ve gotten them done once before and the experience was awful, so this was a nice change. I would recommend going. Clean environment, friendly staff, good prices, a lot of knowledge and experience.

I stopped in to the shop on Saturday night.... i have wanted a cheekbone dermal since i had my chest done back in 2013.... my chest dermal rejected after 1yr ( done in another shop) but Jay was very helpful and made me feel comfortable and im happy with the outcome!! Rock on 🤘🤙💜

July 2017-JayO: Had a dear friend visiting from the DC area and it came up that she’d always wanted her ears pierced since she was a little girl (now in her 50s) but was always too frightened. She was very curious about the process, so I walked her over to Bang Bang and stayed with her for moral support. I’ve known the group at Bang Bang for several years now and they are a great bunch of guys and gals, so they were my first choice. They have a very nice selection of jewelry for her to choose from. The place itself has a great look, and is very clean. JayO was very patient and understanding of her fear and explained the whole process to her. She decided to do it, and Jay was the consummate professional. Jay’s “booth” was very clean and sanitary and you can tell he takes a lot of pride in his work. The piercing went beautifully and I cannot describe how thrilled my friend was at her new earrings.August 2017-JayO: Had my cousin visiting from Italy for the month of August and on her bucket list of things to do while she was here were a tattoo and naval piercing. As she speaks almost no English I facilitated both the tattoo and piercing. JayO pierced my cousin and again couldn’t have been more professional. He took the time to explain every step of the process, answer every question and was very patient while I translated. She was thrilled with the result.Declan: Declan tattooed my cousin. He was INCREDIBLY patient with her in creating the design she had in her mind, yet found difficult in describing so he could get it on paper. Declan ultimately was able to get exactly what she wanted. He was incredibly professional, worked quickly, and had a light touch (as described by my cousin.) The tattoo came out EXACTLY the way she wanted and she couldn’t stop raving about it

Pretty disappointed, I’ve given them my business on a couple different occasions(expensive pieces as well). I just called to ask a question and the owner answered and was extremely rude and disrespectful over my question. I don’t drop hundreds of dollars on body modification to be mistreated by the staff let alone the owner. If you want good work, with GREAT costumer service just go to Lucy’s down the street (pricing is the same anyways).

They no longer honor one free touch up on tattoos. Ive never heard of such a thing. They definitely lost a customer.

Amazing place - nearly fainted having my septum ring put in and Jay O took really good care of me. Juice box and ice pack at the ready, he propped me up and made sure I was completely okay before he made me move or do anything else. I HIGHLY recommend him and Bang Bang for anything youre looking for. I also got my tooth crystals done by him and he did an amazing job with that as well! Cant say enough good things about this place.

Prices are fair and all, but I kind of felt like if you werent getting a fresh piercing, then your patronage was brushed aside. Replacements and jewelry purchasing are just as important. And when you tell someone how long theyll have to wait, and ignore the fact that its been almost twice as long, then its just not good time management. Especially when it isnt busy. Ive been to plenty of piercing and tattoo shops to know how I want to he treated and how my business should be appreciated, and its not here.

Jay and the rest of the staff is beyond AMAZING! This is the first time I got a face piercing and Jay was so nice and accommodating! I’m definitely coming for something different by the time I go home lol. Love this place

Overpriced for a small tattoo and ended up paying too much for 5 minutes of work. Originally went there for another artist and they wouldn’t tell me which shop he moved to. Told me they had an artist that could handle the job. Recommend going to a shop that will value your time and business and will give you better value for you money.

Just got a small piece done from T at bang bang ...so freaking good! My experience was 5 outta 5 environment was clean, comfy and relaxing and staff was super nice and easy to talk with. T made me feel very comfortable and his tattoo style was really nice not painful. The tat came out perfect Im certainly going back for more 😃😄❤ thank u bang bang guys are great!!!

I got tooth jewlry put on here by Jay. I was nervous at first because I wasnt educated on the process and I didnt know much about it. He very clearly explained each step and what he was going to do as before and as he was doing it. It ended up falling off (which was probably my fault) and I contacted jay on his instagram asking if there was something I could do. He asked me to come back and offered to put it back on for me. Which was very kind because he did not have to do any of that. When I came back he was still happy and funny and kind. He didnt seem bothered that I came back and he used a different method on me and explained what he was doing. He made sure I was comfortable and understood what was happening as it was happening. He also was very kind about me bringing people with me. For my second visit I brought my boyfriends 11 year old brother and he kindly invited both of them in and brought in chairs for them, which was awesome so he could experience it too. Overall it is a very friendly environment and everyone I talked to in the studio was very kind and helpful. Will be returning for any of my tattoo/ peircing needs! :)
