Wanting to come back soon and purchase somethings. I stopped in randomly when I was in the area and had 20 minutes to kill. The store is much larger than you think, and has more than you may think. Seems like they have something for everyone.

I normally love this shop, but this time, while shopping for a bong/bubbler hybrid like what I had bought from them previously, I felt rushed, like I was a nuissance. My partner noticed the sales person make a face as I was leaving the register. Both downstairs and upstairs, I was hearing curt conversations to fellow employees. I hope that this is just an off-day for them and not a new trend. In addition, I hope that they will take this review as a caution to do better.

Great shop with tons of hippie items. Although staff could be more friendly considering they always approach you asking questions.

If I could vote zero stars, I would. Woman was extremely rude. I come to this shop about 3 times monthly and today was just awful. I felt extremely rushed, employee had an awful aura and I felt unwelcome. Pretty embarrassing that a woman who had to be over 40 has no morals.

I was visiting the area, and I had to stop into shop therapy!! Its a favorite store, has jewelry, clothing, magnets, scrunchies, something for everyone. The people working there are very helpful, kind, and considerate to the shoppers. Its a must if you are visiting Northampton!!!!

I love the store in Provincetown... Now I love this store as well. The store felt like I was back at home on the cape. The staff was super friendly and helpful. The were very knowledgeable and gave great recommendations. Great job.

Downstairs is the most colorful beautiful clothes upstairs they take care of all of your smoking needs or your adult pleasure needs the store is clean all of the staff is very friendly and very helpful

This place is the best!! I love everything about this shop. My inner hippie was screaming and I love everything incense and they have a lot of that and just a bunch of cool stuff. Its definitely worth it to stop by and check it out. Oh and they have a friendly kitty there too!!!

I go here every time I’m in town first and foremost to visit the very handsome securicat (an awesome employee told me his name is Sid Vicious!) but second because I love the store and employees. The guy who I spoke to most clearly loved his job, dealt with my annoying questions regarding mister kitty and was kind and helpful. I regret not asking his name but he had long brown hair and fierce black polished nails! Awesome place, awesome staff and an even better store mascot!

I have gone to Shop Therapy for many years, mostly for their glass section upstairs. Ive purchased many different pieces both cheap and expensive -- probably spent more than I should over the years. They have good prices and really high quality glass -- and the manager has always been a really cool dude. Hes helped me replace stuff Ive broken by accident that I bought at other stores that I couldnt find on my own. Also, the one time I recently did buy a piece there that didnt work I brought it right back and they swapped it for a slightly more expensive version no problem. All in all Id highly recommend-- TL;DR Good glass, good prices, and good customer service.

Ive been shopping at the ptown an Northampton locations for years...never again and Im posting my horrible experience recently all over social media.

This tucked away little gem in the heart of Northampton is a must visit for anyone that actually enjoys life.

What a wonderful shopping experience.. Because thats what it was, the shop is Extremely well organized for its variety of products.The use of the Normally (lol, normal) overlooked air space creates an Extremely comfy and cozy atmosphere.Well done, and no wonder your staff is so happy.Izzy is a star, wonderful service balance between helpful and not over baring... Kung Fu according to some, if its every day 😁

Been coming here for about 3 years now and have never had a bad experience. Stay is always helpful and polite. Prices are pretty good too.

No exchanges, went in to return/exchange something that a store person had recommended and it hurt my throat, and rather than provide good customer service I was provided awful customer service, if you know what you want then that’s fine, but otherwise go somewhere else that knows how to provide good customer service. It’s the holidays and you didn’t provide the cheer

Great selection of pipes and smoking accessories on the second floor, funny T-shirts, tapestries and jewelry on the first floor.

We would’ve loved to do business if the staff wasn’t harassing us with questions like “why are you buying this?” “Who are you buying it for” “you’re not buying for a minor are you” extremely rude and unprofessional and abuse of authority. Will not return again.

Went there to buys something and when i went there and they ask everyone for ids like nazis ask for papers just go upstairs, it made everyone uncomfortable and the cashier was rude when i ask for assistance as well as everything there is overpriced drastically. My advise is if you have to buy smoke stuff or adult products just buy them online, the experience will be a thousand times better.

A shop for hippy-wannabes, and for people who enjoyed the pothead culture of the 90s:Tons of tie-dyed stuff cloths, things made of hemp, things covered in beads, etc. Im pretty sure there were a bunch of pipes and stuff for smoking needs. I took my 4-year-old daughter in there, and she thought all the cheap, tacky stuff was awesome. I had much the same reaction to this sort of thing when I was 18.Oh, there was an awkward moment when I started to bring my daughter upstairs to see what was there, and had to turn around really quick when I figured out it was sex toys. So... yeah.

Love the feel of the shop. Great tye dyed clothes. Jewelry is amazing. You can easily spend an hour looking.

First floor is packed with Bajas, beanies, beads, etc. Original handmade clothing also. Jewelry, scarves, a plethora of accessories and novelties. Second floor is restricted to 21+. One side hosts and extensive selection of rigs, pipes, vapes, and smoke accessories. The other side is a decent sex shop. Toys, accessories, leathers and lubes.The staff are all pretty great; friendly, helpful, and patient, too, if youre new to things or have questions.Also a10% discount if you have a Mass medical marijuana card.

A blemish on our community. Shop Therapy has repeatedly treated people horribly for calling out their racist practices and paraphernalia. Most recently, they threatened to call the cops on people for asking why they carry Confederate flag merchandise. About a year ago, maybe two, they caused a stir by putting fake indigenous head dresses on their manikins. They have threatened the panhandlers who sit on the street corner. Generally just a loathsome presence in a chill town. They also own Penny Lane and The Vault on the same street.

Shop Therapy Northampton is hands down the best head shop in western mass. Erica the owner is obviosly exceptional when it comes to picking and making sure her employees are trained to give you their 110% customer service every time you come in. Donovan the man upstairs; the man with the jams is a manager I really have to give a shout out to. His extensive knowledge and access of the hundreds of unique glass pieces all having a different purpose is second to none. His amazing experience with herbal supplements and pure CBD (WHICH THE MEDICAL DISPENSARIES DONT HAVE) was a game chqnger for me. and his impecable vaping experience with their sister store The Vault right down the street makes Shop Therapy a icon for Northampton. Erica, Donovan, Holly, Matt have impacted my every day life with their incredible customer service and knowledge behind their quality products!!
