Never called me in regards to an appliance that I was asking about. Bad customer service or they did not care. I ended up going to Lowe’s in westborough and found what I was looking for at a much better price. Too bad I shopped there for years. I will not be back.

We chose Browns on a recommendation from a friend. My wife and I are local small business owners and wanted to avoid the big box store experience. Dennis, Eddy and Chris did a great job with us. Ive purchased 4 items from Browns at the time of this review. I love the place. They are patient, knowledgeable, will match or beat prices of the big box stores and provide much better service and attention, in my humble opinion. They have really great context to consider when making purchases, such as ease or repair, rate of repair, etc. This may be my first online review and they are worth it.

I bought my new appliances ahead of time while waiting for my new home to be built and with all the delays typical of new construction, Eddy and his team were there for me storing all the boxes in their warehouse for free. And when the day arrived, everything was delivered and installed quickly, professionally and with a smile.For me Brown Appliances is synonymous to great customer service, fair price and understanding local community needs. Will definitely buy again.Update 04/21/2016:Had a small leak from the fridge. Called Eddy. Less than 60 min he was here with his team, fixed the issue in a jiffy (was a really minor one).

My husband and I recently purchased a new home and were in the market for a new grill. Browns was super helpful and knowledgeable. They not only delivered the grill right up to our new deck but they brought it a few days early so it would be there for our first night in our new home.

Do not live up to their promise of good customer service. Father and son are so rude. They wont last long. The Brown family had a great business. Its really sad that the new owner still does business in the Brown family name. Awful

There are no salespeople directing you towards products they will make larger commissionson.

We were in the market for a tv and they had good price. A small mishap happened during removal of old tv and a small hole was punched in the wall. They patched the hole and painted the whole wall. It was well done. Highly recommend.

I dont write reviews, but I cant say that now apparently. My experience at Browns impressed me so much that they deserve a few minutes of my time. I make myself insane any time I have a big purchase to make. I spend days if not weeks researching a product. Checking reviews, videos, checking recalls, prices, alternatives etc. By the time Im ready to buy, and hopefully I havent driven my wife crazy from taking so long to decide, I frequently know more about the product and features than the so called experts. I was confident with my choice. I had my mind made up and was ready to buy from the same evil online retailer that we like to tell our friends we dont buy from.I got my mail that day and I see an ad for Browns. It displayed that they were an official Weber and Napoleon dealer. I have never been there, and frankly, assumed they would be a waste of time since a small store could never compete with the big guys, right? Well, with all of the research I did, I could not find anyone that had the high end model I was looking for on display. Especially from Napoleon.I am so glad I went there. The very model that I was convinced I wanted was sitting there as I walked through the door. I was shocked. As beautiful and feature packed as it was, it was painfully obvious that it was far too small for the number of people that I planned to have at my party the very next weekend as well as future parties later this summer. The nice gentleman behind the counter (Dennis) could not have been more knowledgeable and patient with me. He discussed the differences in the Weber and Napoleon grills I was going back and forth with. He agreed that the grill I chose was in fact a great choice, if I was cooking for just my wife and myself, or even a family. However, after listening to all of my needs and number of people I planned to feed, he steered me towards a far better solution. You can always use less of your grill if you dont need it but you can never use more than what you dont have. To make everything even better, he negotiated a much better price than any place local or online. He also had the grill hand delivered to my patio the next day in time for my family party. Everyone loved the grill, and I made some of the best bbq of my life. The Napoleon I ultimately ended up with is absolutely the best grill I have ever used.What can I say more than what was said? Browns did not try to up sell me. They listened to my needs and sold me the best solution to my situation at a price that nobody else could beat. Next day hand delivery on top of that.I now tell everyone I know about my experience at Browns. They will also be the first place I go to in the future for any other appliances I need. Heck I even wrote a long winded testimonial about it.

3 strikes youre out! Strike One: I bought all new appliances for my home and they installed the wrong oven. Strike Two: A few months later I purchased a tv and they set it up incorrectly. Strike Three: Then my brand new less than a year old dishwasher wasnt working. I called and I told them which lights were flashing. I received a call back and they said they have never heard of that error before. I told them I googled it and found out what was wrong and why couldnt they do that. I was told to call other companies and see if they could fix it because it would take a week to get a rep. out just to look at it and if they had to order parts then it would take longer to fix. I called another appliance company and they told me to go to my circuit breaker and turn it off and on and it should reset the controller in the dishwasher. It worked. Why didnt Browns know that?Needless to say I am disappointed. I try to buy from local family run businesses and thats why I went to Browns but too many unfortunate circumstances have occurred and will not be using them anymore.
