I was picking up my dry cleaning, and when I came out to the car I heard the air leaking from my rear tire and within 5 minutes it was totally FLAT... Therefore, to avoid ruining a new tire and possibly a rim by driving on it, I grabbed my phone and searched TIRE REPAIR NEAR ME and found this incredible auto service. They answered on the 1st ring and immediately sent over a guy with an air tank to fill my tire; so I can drive a mile down the road to have it repaired at their shop. Well, to be even more impressed with this automotive repair shop, from the time I got there to the time my tire was repaired and brought up front to hand me the keys, not even 30 minutes had passed, the service writers and the techs were very friendly, the leather chairs in the waiting area were new and comfortable - and the price was GREAT too. I was very impressed with this place, and I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this automobile repair service to everyone!

When another repair shop could not diagnose the problem I took my 2008 Suburban to a dealer. After several days it was clear they could not diagnose the problem either. I had received a mailing advertisement from Heart and decided to give them a shot at the repair. Within an hour or so the diagnosed the problem and upon my authorization of the repair my truck was ready the next day. This was all due to the professionalism of Gabriel my new mechanic and Gil, charged with manning the front desk and customer relations. I have since recommended Heart to several others who have been very pleased with their visits. They do what they advertise. They do a better job than some dealers at a more reasonable price. I am very happy I made this switch to Heart.

I was really delighted with my experience. Ive been taking my car to the dealership for regular maintenance and always felt taken advantage of there. I know pretty much nothing about car care. The staff at Heart were all very friendly and helpful. They did a multi point inspection and told me the car was in great shape, just needed oil change and was due for transmission and coolant change (which I expected) and no other extraneous stuff. The service was fast and they communicated with me while I was waiting. I also had other questions and Gil was very willing to help and have good advice. I would definitely recommend this business.

They did an awesome job. Even gave me a discount price just to make sure i was safe on the road because i couldnt afford all the parts at the time. They also gave me a ride to wherever i wanted for free while they serviced my car. I highly recommend this place .

My parents and I love taking our cars to Gil and the team at HEART. I trust them more than about every other mechanic Ive been to. They are transparent, speedy, and honest. The give good input and advice for different problems. At one point my check engine light was on for an old Ford I had, and they gave me a quote for repairs but advised I not do it, and instead buy a new car. They didnt pressure me at all. Whenever I go back with my new car, they give me lots of info and I like being able to approve or wait for the work that needs to be done. Im only in the area now when I visit my parents, and but I make a point to schedule work for a time I can drive three hours to get here. Worth every penny! Plus, the waiting room is very nice. 😄

Gil was very professional, honest and trustworthy! I am new to town and was nervous about finding a good mechanic. I took my Jeep Wrangler in cause it was driving bumpy, suspecting it was the shocks, and I was due for an alignment. They were up front about the repairs, and looked over my vehicle to make sure there wasn’t anything else that needed fixing! They made me feel safe knowing that there isn’t any other pressing issues with my jeep! Extremely satisfied, will go to heart for all future repairs and maintenance. (Northbrook location)

5 Stars for Gil! I trust they will always do the job correctly and efficiently, with integrity. Theyve serviced my car since 2014 even prior to this location. Have done the brakes, oil changes, air filters, tire rotation etc... I wont be taking my car anywhere else ànd I refer all my family and friends.

They diagnosed and replaced my front brakes and front struts, tried to charge me ~$2,600 initially but came down to a still very expensive $2,000. They also took apart and looked at my rear brakes. After the initial work my rear brakes suddenly stopped working a few weeks later, they charged me another $1,000 to fix these even though the rear brakes werent an issue until they took them apart. They were nice enough to lend me a loaner car when their repairs took much longer than anticipated. The loaner car ran very poor (which seems odd given that this is an auto repair shop) I feel like I was ripped off royally, They also have extremely divisive political messaging in front of their store so I didnt even feel welcome here. I definitely wont be coming back. Stay away from this place.EDIT: 2 days after getting my car back and 1 day after writing this review my car wont start. Havent had more than a couple problems in 133,00 miles and now two separate issues immediately after the initial problem they fixed.This place is incompetent and they break more than they fix. Dont even consider coming here.

Heart auto service was very well organized the service arranged was done professionally and in a timely fashion. They performed an oil change and changed my main belt for my engine. Their facility is very neat and clean. I will use them again should I need any maintenance on my autos.

They have been servicing my older cars for a couple of years and I’m very pleased. I like that they explain what repairs are needed vs what is recommended which is important to me. I never felt pressured when I opted out of doing a recommended service. Everyone there has been professional and makes the car servicing process easy.

Always super nice and friendly! Will usually get me in same day if needed and easy to schedule! They text me reminders when my car is due for an oil change and often send coupons as well! I love the detailed inspection with photos to show exactly what is happening. Did I mention they are super nice?

Travelling across country and had car problems with temp gauge. Took my car right away and did pressure test on hose, etc. Internal pressure leak and could not fix. Let me know the problem and did not charge me anything. Made it back home driving carefully. Professional and honest. Highly recommend.

This is only my second time here, but so far they have been great. Most everyone knows that dealerships charge too much money for simple services so finding a competent local auto shop is a huge plus. I have not had any major work done here just oil changes, but still saved me good chunk of change over the dealership.

Their facility is very neat and clean. I will use them again should I need any maintenance on my autos.

If I could give 0/5 I would. These guys are crooks. I came in with an overheating problem that only happened while my car sat at idle not moving. They told me they would have to replace the thermostat which makes no sense because my engine wasn’t overheating while I was driving. I explained that didn’t make sense and that I’d like them to look at the fan. They wanted $404 to replace the thermostat. After having the service writer give me attitude over not wanting my thermostat messed with I left and took my Jeep to a reputable mechanic. What a shock. It wasn’t the thermostat but instead it was the fan motor. After reading reviews on Facebook and my own experience. I will NEVER recommend these crooks to anyone. 0/5 stars.

It was a while ago but I came in once because I received a mailer for oil change and when they were done and handed me my key, it is a remote key.. they clearly broke it and it costs 800 dollars to fix it. They shoddily put it together and gave it back to me without saying a word about it.

I’ve gone to Heart a number of times over the years, and each time I get great customer service and fair pricing. A couple days ago I heard noise from my brakes and after calling they told me I could bring it in within the hour. I was given a quote about 30 minutes later along with photos depicting the (poor) state of my front pads and rotors. The rear ones just needed a cleaning, and they had an additional $50 off making it less than my dealer’s quote. They also price matched my oil change when I said I got it for less elsewhere. Oh and they caught that my serpentine belt was visibly cracked and ready to be replaced (my car has 80k miles). They were finished about an hour earlier than stated and since their waiting room is so nice it was fine to wait, though they offered to drive me home if I’d wanted since their loaner car was being used.As an aside I’d come in in the past at least twice to have my plastic under carriage cover re-clipped after I tore them on parking pylons (my car is very low) and they did it for free-my dealer charged for the plastic clips. I’d highly recommend Heart to anyone looking for a mechanic.

My recent experience with Heart was really excellent. We were due for rotor replacement on our 2008 Prius, and got a quote elsewhere that was nearly twice the cost for the service. We want to keep the car going for another year or two, but didnt want to sink a ton of money into it. Frank got us in for a quick estimate and was able to recommend the services that really needed to be done, giving us peace of mind that we were making the right decisions for our situation.When the repairs were finished, I got a text message linking me to my bill/report. It also had an option to pay electronically, which made for safe, contactless pick-up. I accidentally forgot to use a coupon that I had at my house, and when Frank followed up with me the next week, I mentioned it, expecting that it was too late. Instead, he offered me a gift certificate for the amount that the coupon wouldve saved me. I was very satisfied, knowing that we will take both of our vehicles back to Heart in the future.

The HEART team was great. They finished the job in a timely way, were very professional, and took all the necessary COVID precautions.

Did my brakes and rotors. Brakes were squeaking, took it back and was told “it was due to the snowy weather”. They re-lubed them and were squeaking within hours. Snow is gone and the bakes are still squeaking. Poor work and poor excuses. I won’t be doing any more work there.Edit: It has been a week and they haven’t contacted me, just so everyone is aware on how this company operates.

Ive taken two cars here, one for new brake rotors and one that needed new struts. Both cars were finished in a few hours for a fair price. I was able to use a loaner vehicle while the car was in the shop.Efficient and trustworthy as far as I can tell, Ill be going here again.

We thought wed have to take our Ford C-Max to the dealer for a trio of odd issues, but just on a whim, my husband brought it in to HEART because its near his office. Im so glad he did. Quick and complete service. Needed tires I purchased on-line installed and balanced with front end alignment. Dropped truck off at 7am and they drove me to work. Truck was done by lunch.

Stay far away from Heart auto care! Frank the manager of Heart gave me an estimate for $967 to fix my back brakes and told me it was dangerous to leave their shop without fixing my car. I showed the car to someone else and the brakes are perfectly fine. They tried to cheat me 6 months ago also and I took the car into another shop who told me the car did not need any repairs. I have previously spoken with the owner, Brian, who assured me that Heart wouldnt cheat me again, but apparently they cant help themselves but be dishonest.

1st time there. Clean, very professional & honest. Took my car to have the breaks checked and they advised they were fine and no new breaks needed. They did an full inspection and found a couple minor things needed. But no big expensive items. I was very pleased and will definitely go back.

They quoted me 125 to change cabin air filter, and about 65 for engine air filter. I have been going here for 10 years.... I decide to change on my own. Cabin filter was 3 bucks and took me 5 min to do. Had a problem getting the engine air filter compartment to close. I took it in, they sold me a the filter and took care of for the $ 65 . Later that night I noticed my headlight was out. I ended up being able to just tighten the bulb and it worked fine. I cant say for sure, but my thought is that they loosened the bulb on purpose. I like the guys there, but EVERY time they find something else to sell you. Air filters, wiper blades, etc... Cheap coupons for oil changes, but be careful with the extras. The nice waiting room and free sodas, are not free.

I trust these professionals to tell me truthfully what I need and what I don’t need to do to maintain my older cars. They personally explain any diagnosis of problems, answer questions, make recommendations of what to do at once and what can wait, and they always give me the costs up front and the time frame to finish the work. They have earned my respect and trust for many years.

They were great at this place. I stopped in to ask them if they could figure out what was making the noise under my car (which it wasnt making at that particular time). I was nervous about driving it like that. They took one look, told me it was my heat shield and that they could just remove it. I also had a slow leak in one of my tires that they addressed and I was out of there in about a half hour with everything fixed and to the tune of only $32. They showed me exactly what was wrong and I feel they are honest and above board. The waiting room was as nice as my dealers and they are much closer! I will definitely be back and highly recommend.

I dropped off my car for an oil change. Gil discovered a radiator leak and a faulty bearing after I hit a pothole.
