They have a good selection of yarns and are very helpful if you have questions. Good one stop shop.
Im not sure why a small business would be so unfriendly. My 5yr old son and I visited a few weeks ago on a whim while in the area, from 45 minutes away and in the sleeting rain. We were told that they require an appointment during covid which is understandable, yet there was one person in their store at the time. The employee let us in but rushed us through browsing. I guess Ill shop online next time. #shopsmall?
Every time I’m in the area my mom and I like to stop by and shop here. The knitters are always very helpful and have helped me choose great yarn for projects in the past. They have a great selection of yarns and samples. Sometimes it’s fun just to stop by and explore the different yarns even if I don’t need to buy anymore yarn!
What a lovely shop! Staff was friendly and helpful, lots of really gorgeous yarn, including many less common brands. Looks like they have lots of class offerings and great space for it, I only wish I lived nearby to take advantage!
My knitting store at my home away from home. I love it here and all are so helpful.
Ive been going to 3BF about 12 years now and always recommend them to people who ask me where I got my yarn. They definitely have the largest selection and the most helpful staff Ive found. Lynette has found several women who are very knowledgeable, friendly, and patient. They have a long list of classes you can take, and also help out individual knitters (check with them for details on that). New knitters, dont be intimidated- they have all levels of projects to suggest and all price ranges for yarn. They are overflowing with samples to inspire you. And as someone else noted, theyre just a couple doors down from a Starbucks- sounds like a great afternoon doesnt it?
Great Selection of yarn and very friendly service
Great local yarn store. Many yarns and knowledgeable, helpful staff.
Great place for colorful yarn. Super friendly staff.
Well stocked yarn store with helpful staff.
I work in home health and enjoy finding little treasures, like independent coffee shops and LYS (local yarn stores)! So, I decided to check out Three Bags Full. I will say that I had very little LYS experience under my belt, and as a crocheter, my previous experience led me to believe that these shops were really only for knitters. I was happily surprised to find this not the case at this shop! This store is HUGE, but not cold or antiseptic--very warm and inviting! The two ladies who were working there were VERY helpful, welcoming me upon my arrival, and explaining how the yarn (the ridiculous selection of yarn) was organized around the store. If I doubted whether crocheters were welcomed here initially, that doubt was removed upon noting several sample crochet projects around the shop, including a lovely afghan above the fireplace! Most of the yarn I have worked with was big box store acrylic, for larger projects, and I decided to purchase some higher-quality, natural fiber yarn for a smaller project for myself. My beautiful hanks of Madelintosh were both wound for me, and I know Ill be back!
Friendly staff, wonderful selection, beautiful samples.
Just drop by, and see why this is a happy place for any knitter.
