They were great when I had emergencies and paid there high fees to fix my old garage door opener. But the last visit when they were here they damaged my door and had to come back and fix it for free so when they made me an appointment from 9-11am they didnt show up until 3pm and the office stopped answering my phone calls. Now I found a much better and cheaper company to install my new garage door opener and will never use these crooks again.

Had an unusual failure to the torque spring on my barely four and a half year old garage door but after realizing Wayne Dalton doors are probably one of the cheapest garage doors out there I see why. Spring broke late Sunday afternoon. Called Illinois Garage who told me somebody would be there in 2 to 4 hours. Alex called in 15 minutes and was here in 25. Fast and Excellent Work!Our door broke on a Sunday evening. They were out for consultation within two hours that evening. They got the garage door closed (so all our stuff would not be exposed overnight) and were back out installing a new door in 48 hours. They said they would come at 8AM on Tuesday and showed up at 8AM! The job was perfect and only took about 2.5 hours to complete. Looks greatand works great! We are beyond satisfied. Found this company through groupon for garage maintenance, but found springs needed to be replaced so decided to replace entire opener too being it was so old. Service was immediate. Service man Nate was on time and very informative about needed repairs. He came back later to install new opener, replace springs and rollers. My garage door has never been quieter. I can’t believe how fast, easy and affordable it was. Called Monday morning as we backed into our neighbors garage door. They were out within 2 hours. Looked at it, gave me a very reasonable quote and told me they could be there the next morning to fix it. On Tuesday, they shoes up and job was done in 2 hours. Took my cc info and sent me a receipt that I have already submitted to insurance. 40 hours after the accident, we are done!!

Very quick response! Found a broken spring at 5:30am, called around 7:15am and had someone at the house by 8:30am. Alex was very professional and had the job done in less than hour.The price seemed a little high, but I didn’t shop around so I can’t be certain. It did seem reasonably fair for the responsiveness and getting us out of the garage quickly.

The technician was honest and the charge was reasonable. When something can be fixed, he did not recommend the costly replacement, like many other dishonest technicians would do. This is the type of company you want to do business with - honest and reasonable charge!

UNPROFESSIONAL SERVICE. I had an appointment in a 6pm to 8pm window and when I called at 5 and 6 to confirm appointment I was told someone was on the way. I called to confirm as I was coming from 1 hour away. At 620 I called again and was told no one can come today. I chose this service due to the star reviews but obviously VERY UNPROFESSIONAL AND DID NOT KEEP THEIR WORD. I WILL NEVER USE THIS SERVICE AGAIN.

I changed it from a 1 Star to a 4 star. It was yes...a 1. Star beforehand...Why?First visit to repair my moms dual 2 door garage was a good experience. He came later in the evening, stayed till 1am and fixed the problem garage door. (Outstanding) and while the tech was there, he adjusted the other garage door and this past Sunday, we opened it up for the first time after the tweak, and it was a complete mess. Door was uneven, and unable to close, (About a 2 foot gap between the floor and the door) as well as the track and motor started to kick OUT and UP towards the ceiling! Looked like the whole assembly was going to break off and drop from the ceiling.... (That was on Sunday, 1:35pm)My mom called immediately afterwards. (1:36pm), spoke to someone and they said that someone should be out at 4 - 4:30 pm. The time came and went. She called twice- (wondering where the tech is at) went straight to vm she left messages, and nobody called her back. 9:30 pm, I called her thinking that someone already came and fixed it, and still to my shock- no once called or came out. (Shes 78 years old) so overnight, the garage door could be opened or closed. Makes a nice little home for the wildlife..fortunately, nothing came in..So, I told her to call and cancel, and I found someone else. Unfortunately we waited too long and no one would be able to arrive till next day. (Monday- Nice going) That evening, around 10:30 pm- someone finally called and there was some sort of mixup and a personal issue. They apologized for the miscommunication, and theyd take off. 30% off the bill when they come out. (Fine.)They arrived at the agreed time, fixed the problem, replaced the old and frayed cable (which was the cause- however I find that humorous that it happened after you adjusted it), and was in and out relatively quick. He applied the credit, so I asked her, would you use them again? She said yes, BUT if that happens again with this mixup youd lose our business permanently. We are patient and understanding, however dont take advantage of our current demeanor.Do whats right and do what you say youre going to do, and youll have more writing 5 star reviews. Pull off that stunt to other customers, and your competition will start to thank you for your performance. Nice save with the credit. That went s long way, and a means to get back on our good side.
