The place is great. Pretty much everytime I hear someone talking about needing a muffler this place is brought up (and not just from me)Quality work at affordable price. (Around $200 part &labor for an average car)Plan on a 1-2 week wait for the next available appointmentI recommend getting directions when you make an appointment because Google map only gets you close; about 1/4 mile away to wrong destination.

Dave removed and replaced the stock mufflers with Flowmaster 40 mufflers on my 1970 Riviera. Couldnt be happier with the results.

Awesome work. Had the duel exhaust fixed on Sierra. Had it done at another area shop and it was terrible, Dave completely redid it and it looks and sounds better, plus it was very reasonably priced. I will definitely go back, and will recommend any one I know to go here with their exhaust needs. Great place!

Almost 11 years ago, I had Dave do up some custom exhaust pieces for my 66 Corvair. Dont recall how I found Daves shop, but I had tried to find someone in Minneapolis to do this work for me with no luck. Every place I tried out didnt even come close to being able to do it right. Most just ended up with mangled tubing. I showed up at Daves and asked if he could make the parts and he said sure. He grabbed some tubing and went to work on his bender. In a matter of a few minutes he had the finished pieces in his hands. They were *perfect*, and I was just about speechless. This guy has skills of the sort that are so hard to find anymore.Im writing this now, after such a long time, because from time to time I am thinking about new things to try on my Vair and wonder if Dave is still around to do some parts for me. I was just now starting to gather parts for a new engine rebuild/upgrade and going thru my old parts list and receipts and came across the Exhaust Pros of Northfield. Checked it out online and to my great relief, there it is still!! Ill be dropping by again in the near future!

Amazing. I brought my Volkswagen here years ago to put a muffler back on from the kid i bought it from and it was phenomenal. I brought my sisters Monte Carlo in today (04/25/19) and it was phenomenal. He had it dropped off, diagnosed and fixed within 2 hours and I didn’t have a heart attack when he told me the total after taxes. He reminds me of my Uncle David, a very wholesome, knowledgeable mechanic and he genuinely cares for his customers and enjoys his days. I definitely have him down as my first contact. Dave is great. Had the muffler fall off my truck it was so rotted out. Brought my truck into Dave and an hour and a half later I was back on the road with a quality repair and a very fair price. I would highly recommend Daves service to anyone needing mechanical repairs to their vehicle!

You must make an appointment. Dave is honest and fair. Belzers quoted me $1200.00 for the exhaust repair and Dave charged 192.33 out the door. Every Vehicle and Exhaust system is different so obviously your price will vary based on that but this is the place to go for all your exhaust repairs.
