Theres a quotation that reads, What defines us is how well we rise after falling. I was lucky enough to find out how true those words ring for this shop. In brief, the experience I would like to share, began when I received the wrong needle set from an online order and called the shop. The person I reached was cordial, apologetic and more than willing to make things right. I went in to exchange the set in person, and the correct kit was ready and waiting for me. At home, I examined the item I had been given in exchange had believed it had missing parts. Again, I called the shop. They confirmed that in fact pieces were missing and they immediately shipped out what was not included. With the shipment I received a note of apology letting me know that one of the cords was not in their inventory, and that it had been special ordered, but to make sure I had something to work with in the interim, they provided, at no charge, two additional cords and an adapter to make sure they worked. Along with the correct shipment was the promise to ship the remaining kit cord when it arrived. Throughout, everyone I spoke to was cordial, accommodating and sought to make things better than right. Well worth making them part of your next yarn shopping expedition!!

I visited today to look at a specific yarn brand for a specific project. The store associate who assisted me directed me to the shelf and was helped me decide what colors to choose for my project and then helped me get the sweater quantity in the same dye lot. I had a wonderful experience and cant wait to come back again to browse and of course by more yarn! The store is well organized, carrying quality yarns, super friendly staff, you wont be disappointed!

Wide variety of yarn, all exceptional quality. Staff was quite attentive and knowledgeable. Organization by yarn weight was helpful, with lots of knitted up examples all over. Nice seating in front, you can just come in and knit!

Pleasant and helpful staff. Lovely yarns, but in several cases, not enough in stock for an adult female sweater. They seem to stock for childrens wear and scarves and such. But the yarns are gorgeous!

This is a wonderful store with a knowledgable, expert, and caring staff, and a great variety of yarns. I would set up a tent if the owner allowed me.

Nicely arranged selection of yarns, nice open space. Only complaint is that often the help is less than... helpful. Was in again recently, looking for a 100% cotton yarn for a project. I wandered for about 20 minutes, finding other yarns that I was considering purchasing as well. However, after having been in retail for over 20 years myself, customer service is very important to me. Not once was my presence there even acknowledged with a Hi there or a question of whether I needed help or such. Eventually i gave up and walked out without purchasing anything. The store was not busy - only a couple other customers there. This has happened enough that I would probably not make any special trip to go visit again. Too bad, as I like to support local business. Will go to local yarn shops in other nearby communities instead.

Since I have been going to the open stitch times, I have been learning about everyones project. It gets me inspired to keep learning new things. The staff is so helpful. You can ask the staff questions and they will assist you. I am so glad there is a Yarn store in Northfield . They do carry the yarn I use.Keep up the good work.
