The paint mixer seems finicky to work with, but I got the colors that i needed. Great help! Thank you!
Much like the local mom and pop hardware stores in my hometown, this place has a little of everything you might need.. Staff was very helpful and proves were decent..
Ive tried. Really tried to keep supporting a smaller hardware store. Since the switch to true value, service quality had absolutely tanked. Not greeted at the door, checking out seems like a hassle for employees, masks worn inappropriately. I was looking for some paint for a project and clearly standing alone, waiting to be assisted. Two employees walked right past me, engrossed in their own conversation. No acknowledgment. No greeting. Nothing. Asked for help and they grudgingly came over and mixed paint. Then a twist of the arm to actually check out.Not again. Save your time. Go to Menards. Where they know customer service and how to wear a mask.
New to town. Been in a few times. Each time either no one to help, no product knowledge, nor idea of location. To top it all off, they have one very rude young man, (paint mixer boy) and a middle age woman whom should not be anywhere near a customer. Just retire lady, your done!
Great customer service found everything I needed
The convenient location of Arrow makes a trip for hardware or tools a breeze. The fact is; you can get in, find what you want fast and be out the door in no time at all. That is what makes it much superior to Menards in Dundas. As always, support small and local business.
I used to enjoy going to Ace Hardware in downtown Northfield. They had a friendly staff and were very helpful. Now it seem I could stand with a neon help sign above my head and I wouldnt have anyone asking me if I needed help. Also, now they are changing to a True Value instead of an Ace Hardware. Their prices are going through the roof. I went to purchase 4 tomato cages. The bill came to $40. I cancelled the purchase. This is the second time I have been there since they started switching to True Value and last time I paid the bill even though it seemed high. I just couldnt do it this time. I went to the other end of town and got the tomato cages for over half the price and they seemed like they were a better quality. Sadly, I do not think I will be shopping at this Ace Hardware/True Value location again.
Stock is too low to get enough in one trip for a project. I really dont like feeling that Im bothering the crabby manager when I have to go find her to ring up my one tiny jar of stain. Asking when or if they will get more in is just too much! Guess where I should have gone to start and where I will go to get more. Plus Menards has really upped their customer service and check outs!
Arrow Ace lives up to the friendly customer service I believe all Ace stores are known for!!
Didnt have the sale items that were offered in the sale ad.
They are recovering nicely from all this madness, supplyers ect. Good people ..It should reflect on there pay checks
I have only been to this location twice, both times to get items for my moms house since I live out of town. Both experiences were terrific with super helpful staff and everything was marked with the right price tags, which trust me is a big deal.
I was disappointed with arrow hardware and paint. I was never greeted when I entered the store. As far as I could tell I was the only customer in the store. I had to search out an employee to help me find the item I needed and then again to get checked out.
Always got what you need
Place is overpriced and the quality at the help desk is literally non existence. Go to Lowes or Home Depot and with the money you save. Take yourself out to lunch.
Poor service and selection. You need to hire more knowledgeable staff.
I will no longer shop at Ace hardware in Northfield. Shopping there today NOBODY wore a mask and when I asked for help getting a particular screw the young man waved his hand and said “it’s back there”. I’ve always enjoyed Ace and their friendly service but poor service and the lack of respect with no masks on the staff has changed my mind
Their stock is consistently awful and has been for 10 years. Many of the items they should carry are all gone, and with things that are in stock, they only have 1. Every time I shop there I walk away missing some basic thing I need - and every time I ask myself why do I keep coming back? Is it just the free popcorn? The staff is nice though.
First of all, I never had any problem with this store. I just called this store. I was introducing myself and shoot my question about STIHL chainsaw. The worker named Dan decided to hang up on me for no reason. I didnt appreciate this at all. I just called to check if they have STIHL MS 261 C-M chain saw that all. I will change this rate after I go there. It could be one star or 5 stars as it depends on workers at the store.
Great home town hardware store! Not a box store/chain store atmosphere. Your a person not just another dollar
The folks there have always been very helpful, prices are a bit higher but when in a rush its the closest for me, and I like to shop local.
Friendly employees and store was clean. They had what I needed.
Friendly staff, good selection and service.
Theres a helpful smile in every isle. I always ask what happened to the produce section.
The grass seed they have on aisle 5 is awesome. Also, rentals here are REASONABLE. The helpful staff makes things easy, too.
This is the worst Ace hardware around. Rude service and lack of items. I had a $7 off coupon for an ace sprinkler and they didnt even have it. Save your time and go to the Ace in Lakeville. Much better service with more items. Whoever the gal was working there today 6.04.17 was as rude as they get. I will never be back.
Been to this location twice in the last 3 weeks for 2 different paint colors, both times had to wait and then was told they didnt have.WILL GO TO Farmington in the future.
I much prefer this hardware store for local purchases. Theyre very friendly and helpful.
Ace Hardware. Aka: Northfields screen repair, key copy central, and free popcorn stop. Friendly service, but keep in mind that not all employees are experts in construction and renovation. I love having a downtown handyman shop. The pros: key items are all there right when you need them and dont want to drive down Highway 3 to get lost inside Menards or you dont want to drive 30 minutes to the Home Depot in Burnsville. I have paint matched here and their computer does an excellent job (make sure they calibrate it first).
Good prices friendly know their products
Great place they have everything I need .
Great stuff to buy like antiques
If they dont have it, theyll order it in for you. Great staff too
They have all the things stores are no longer carrying and their staff can actually give great advice about what you need, even if its an off-the-wall project
Great products and consistently wonderful consumer service!
👍🏽🍿Great service and selection.
Knowledgeable employees and usually with a smile.
Employees dont wear masks.
A lot of empty hooks ! Seemed pricey to
Clean, nice staff, free popcorn
Never stopped in here I was just in the parking lot and picked up their signal
They are always friendly and helpful
Knowledgeable and helpful staff. Stihl dealer.
They made a copy of a key for me in under 10 seconds.
Shelves are very empty, friendly but unhelpful staff
Customer service is great.
Helpfull
Always helpful staff
Great friendly service!
Nice people
Great store
Friendly store.
Nice
Horrible service in the evenings
Yep its Ace
It is a good place, you find it necessary but it is more expensive than Menard.
