My mother had three windows fixed...regulators, motors, whatever was needed. Unfortunately an ordered part was late getting there because of weather. Once it got there though, they immediately completed the job. All the windows work great and mother is satisfied. We recommend them to everyone.

This is a great place for almost all truck repairs. I have gotten most of everything inspected or fixed here over the past 5 years as a student at the University. Extremely fair or low pricing, professional workers, and best of all they are usually quick and efficient. I highly recommend their service for your auto needs.

On Christmas Eve, I waited nearly 3 hours to have a rim swapped out on a tire. That takes about 15 minutes to do. I watched the guys in the garage standing around and messing around. Even after getting my tire off the car, it sat on the ground for 30 minutes while they all worked a guys farm tire, Who came in an hour after I did. For someone who’s trying to get home to get ready for Christmas Eve, I didn’t appreciate their lack of respect for my time. If you’re going to lolly gag around and cut up because it’s Christmas Eve, just close the shop. I will not be back.

I had a leak in my tire, so I called them up. They didnt have any appointments open, but said they could help me if I came in first thing the next morning. Everyone was very friendly and helpful and, even without an appointment, I was in and out in an hour. And they even gave me a discount on my tire patch.Update: Since getting my tire fixed, Ive come here for pil changes a few times. The service is still very friendly and they do a good job, but the price is a bit high. And I cant stress enough that you should follow the manufacturer recommended frequency for your oil changes, not necessarily the sticker they give you. The manufacturer recommendations for my car is every 6 months/6000 miles. The sticker I got would have me bringing it back in 2 months/3000 miles. And as lovely as the service is otherwise, its certainly not enough for me to get an $82 oil change 2 or 3 times more often than I actually need to.

Good quality service with a emphasis on quality and good deals for tires.Get there before they open if you want to get out quick. The tire rotations for free is well if they are installed and bought from them however do not expect to get a fast turnaround time if you go there in the evening.

Not only did I visit the website I called and spoke to Todd. He was really helpful. I really enjoyed working with him. I shipped some rims and it was my fault it went to the wrong city, but Todd helped me with the process. I was trying to get them shipped to the right place. I told James I would coordinate with him when UPS came the sent them back to the manufacturer after I said I would let him know. I think the company as a whole was good and they can thank Todd for that.

It took 2 hours longer than the 3 hours we were told it would take. The employees are playing with the customers vehicles. I wouldnt come here unless you have an entire day to waste.

Tires made driving dangerous. Was told We are not Walmart you cant bring tires back just because you don like them.To vehicle back so they could look at the tires. Had vehicle 2 days. Was told they could not do anything for me.Left and went To Northport Tires. 2 minute ride by technition. Said thr tires were out of balance. Front left tore was 5 ounces out of balance. Had NO LEAD ON IT AT ALL. This was after a 2 minute drive minute to Northport Tires. Tuscaloosa Tires could not have even looked at my tires if the lead was off and 5 ounces out. I was told by mechanics not to go there and 4 other people not to go there. I didnt listen and almost made a $560 mistake. Tires are 3 weeks old. DONT GO TO TUSCALOOSA TIRE. GI INSTEAD TO NORTHPORT TIRES.

Took the time and did the job right, stayed with the given price. Satisfied.....

We have been using them for a little over a year now on all of our company trucks (7 total) Theyre always extremely courteous, thorough and professional. The prices are well within normal range one would expect for the various services they offer and they stand behind their work. Overall I would recommend to anyone looking for not only tires, brakes, and alignment but the numerous other mechanical services they offer.

I had them check the brakes on 2 cars at different times because they were squeaky. One time they said they were fine, probably just wet. On the other car (which was worse) they said the pads needed cleaned and adjusted; it was like $46. Most places would have just replaced your brakes in those situations. These guys are trustworthy. Rare integrity in the industry. Theyve always done great work for me--and at a fair price.

May be a good place to buy tires, not sure. I’d go somewhere else for mechanical work. The folks I talked to there treated me like I didn’t know what I was asking about. They ended up being wrong. Took it all the way to the store manager. He was very polite and apologetic, and he gave me a refund. This is the Northport store I’m reviewing - have had good experiences at the McFarland location.

Tuscaloosa tire is the best place to go to get your car worked on. They are very friendly ppl and always keep me posted and let me know what was going on. The service manager Jonathan is so nice. He explain everything for me. The people up front where super nice. Love Tuscaloosa tire. If yall need any work done come see them.

Jack is a good manager. He’s been good to me. Unfortunately their alignment portion isn’t up to par. With bad tires and no alignment my car handled bad. After the alignment my car is all over the place. It pulls to one side now and the steering wheel isn’t straight. I gave them 2 chances to correct this issue. I know my car since this particular car is a passion of mine. I won’t bring my vehicle there again. I might buy tires from Jack but the service department won’t touch my car again. I’m very disappointed.

This place my life easy! I was in and out within 45-minutes. I came to them with a spare on my car after getting a flat. They found the hole and patched it up for a VERY fair price. I have since driven over 500 miles on the tire with no problem.

Terrible service! be prepared to wait 6-8 hours on minimal work (i.e. Tire rotation/tire alignment) and to top that they will over charge you to the max especially if you need new parts. Go to Mavis discount tire theyre a half mile down the road and they wont over charge you and they WILL do the work right. and FYI My situation: roughly $800 for the parts and $800 for labor. I then found all the parts in a kit on google for $200. HIGHWAY ROBBERY!!

Dropped my vehicle off for what I was told was 2 hours top replace 2 tires. Called at the 2 hour mark, clerk stated that they took lunch and did not start my car yet. Told me it would be another hour. Came by at that time and they hadnt even started it yet. Requested my keys back and left without the tires. Wont be back

I wish I could give zero stars on this one. Took my car to have a nail removed and plugged. The first day was told due to employee call ins it would take hours. Second day was told to bring it in when they open up and it wont take 4 hours. Brought it in the next day early and was told 1 1/2 hrs to plug the tire. 3 1/2 hrs later still not done and was informed that there was no way to get to it soon. A simple plug job. Employees are nice but that doesnt help cover lies and huge inconvenience. Danny, the manager called me personally and apologized and did everything to rectify the situation which was much appreciated. It doesnt diminish the original inconvenience but it says alot that he took the time and effort to do that. I will go back because I believe in second chances.

I called this establishment thinking I was calling Tire engineers trying to report an issue Rob the tech was very rude due to him having customers in the store. I would never recommend this place due to the fact every customer should be equally as important as if they are in the store!!! Very poor customer service!!!! Tire engineers excellent customer service the manager Chad was very professional would recommend them any day!!!

Sent the mobile repair truck to my daughters apartment and fixed her tire on the spot. Very reasonable with great customer service.

They always find the problem(s), consult with me before making repairs, and their prices are the best! Been going to them for 8 years and Ive never had any complaints! Besides tires (which is what Goodyear is known for) they also do general car work like brakes, oil change, filter, belts and battery. Ive recommended them to several friends and they too said they were very satisfied with their work! I have a lot of respect for these guys and I will continue to bring my business to them!

I called on a Friday afternoon, 20 minutes before they closed, in a panic. I had just come out of Lowes in Northport in a hurry to pick up my kids and seen my tire was flat!! Ive had this SUV less than a month!! Luckily I had a tire pump in the back and managed to get enough air in it to make it to this Tire shop. So upon my call I was frantic, as I only had this car 3 weeks and it had new tires on it. The gentleman who answered the phone was very nice and told me to come on down and they would do everything they could to help me. I got there at 15 till 6pm. They had my tire plugged and me out the door at 5 minutes till close. They helped me out after they had a long week, it finally closing on Friday....and they get a call from me! Haha. They were so kind and helpfu . I will definitely use them again!! Thanks again, gentlemen.

I would like to talk to the owners about deceitful practices in the service department located in Northport. The practices are profitable for the store but I do not know if the owners are aware or not. If I am allowed to talk to the owners, I will post an update.

Service was fast ! I came in to get my brake fixed however on the way my caliper took its last breath... They fixed everything for an amazing price and they were really friendly!! Overall, AMAZING service !

I apologize, in advance, for the lengthy review. Arrived less than a minute to opening time. Two men, one appeared to be owner or manager, standing outside the entrance and having a friendly conversation. When the door was unlocked I politely waited a few seconds to see if either of the men were going inside. Niether moved or broke conversation at all, and neither uttered a word to me. Since they didnt seem interested in going inside I took the liberty of going in myself. I was planning to leave my vehicle for service and be picked up by a friend. After giving the fellow at the counter all my info, explaining all I had already done to and found wrong with my vehicle (making it abundantly clear that it had a brand new thermostat installed the prior week), I then turned to leave. Noticing one of the men from earlier was now sitting on a sofa and observing the mornings goings on, I nodded to him and said, Good morning. He nodded in kind, but did not speak. Shortly after, as I was waiting outside for my ride, that same fellow approached me and asked that I be more considerate of other customers who might also be waiting outside before opening time. I apologized saying that I did not realize I had gone in front of anyone as they did not seem to be in any rush to go inside after the door was unlocked. This guy NEVER introduced himself, offered a handshake, asked for my name, no genialalities at all. In fact once he said his piece he proceeded to walk back to the door as I was responding. So, I finished by telling him that I typically tell others approaching a locked door that the place hasnt yet opened, as a courtesy. Was charged for a new thermostat, thermostat gasket ($6.12??!!), and the same installation fee for the thermostat as the entire radiator installation fee. This all done at once. I dont know normal rates for auto repairs as I usually do my own work, and rarely have breakdowns, but I feel confident that I was heavily overcharged. The mechanic seemed friendly, as did the guy at the counter who took my info., however he didnt seem to be truly listening to me. You know how sometimes people just keep saying yeah, yeah, uh huh, uh uh, ok, yeah? You know theyre not really listening, apparently because they think your just rambling or they assume you are clueless about your own car. So...poor experience, price gouging, condescending staff, and a manager who seems to be way above first time customers and passes judgement based on I dont know what. BTW, the new thermostat thing I mentioned three times in all, and to three separate persons, including the mechanic. My vehicle is fixed, but I will not return to this establishment.

Awful service. Went inside and was politely greeted and told which bay to take my car to. Once I got inside to talk to the mechanics they sat on their phone smoking cigarettes and wouldnt even give me the time of day. Stood there right in front of them for ten minutes before I left, ive never been so disrespected in my life and wouldnt recommend anyone coming here.

First time using the Northport store, I usually go see Randall on Skyland. I had a doctors appointment on that side of town. On the way to my appointment I stopped at the Piggly Wiggly to get a few things and to kill some time because I was early. When I finished shopping and returned to my truck I had a flat tire. Long story short I would have been late to my appointment if a couple of the Tuscaloosa Tire guys wouldnt have help me get my spare on. I left the tire with them to be repaired while I was at the doctor. When I returned to the store to check on my tire it had already been fixed and I was told that it was free of charge. I cant say enough about these guys, they are great!

Recently got my brakes worked on there. They got right to the job were very polite and even came down a little bit on the price. I have been here several times and have never been disappointed.

Worst experience ever. Went to get a diagnostic for a check engine light and charged me $70.00 for just checking the check engine light. Never had I seen highway robbery like this. Do not go here.

It took 4 1/2 hours to get a set of tires put on my car . Just plan pitiful on time I will never give them my business again I could leave my car because I had no one to come get me so I had to sit that long and see them drop of work here and there to help pull transmission and other jobs no apologies on how long it took Ive got two more trucks needing tires needless to say they wont be getting that business.
