The owner of this Sears hometown store is a great guy. Very knowledgeable and pleasant. I would recommend this store over any other Sears store simply because of the owner. Five stars for sure.

Everything Sears can be found here. Since most malls are closing if youre a Craftsman loyalist they have you covered.

The only place I could find in my area with a gas dryer in stocks. They delivered the same day.

I was thrilled to find a store nearby. I ordered some mulching blades for yard tractor and the owner delivered and installed them. Now that is friendly service with a smile. I know where I’m going to get my tune up parts this Spring! I urge you all to shop there and keep our local businesses thriving. We’ve already lost too much to big name super stores from China, please support our locals, like this place. They need us to stay afloat. Like the man says, “Keep America Great!”

They had one service rep and he was polite to let us know he was on phone for customer ahead of us. When he was on he helped us.

I worked with the owner Jim regarding a new riding lawn mower. He was extremely helpful and knowledgeable about what would be the best fit for my needs. Didnt over sell and was absolutely awesome. Love that they are family owned and operated. He cares about his customer and making sure we are completely satisfied with our experience. Not sure about the other reviews on here, I would give a 10! Better than the stores by the mall for sure!

If I could give this place zero stars I would. my parents went to look for a washer in this store and were treated poorly by the employees that worked there. they were on the floor for 45 minutes and not a single employee approached them to ask if they needed help. one was talking on the phone, not a business call mind you, a casual covorsation just sitting there. my father had to approach an employee and asked him nicely if they delivered products. the employee rudely scoffed in his face and told him no or 200 dollars to deliver as a joke. We will never in a million years shop here ever again and will go elsewhere for products. the employees are very rude. dont waste your time. go to a store that actually hires people that are polite and are willing to help.

Just purchased a new refrigerator from the Norwalk Hometown store. Sales rep was very helpfull in my purchase. Very knowledgeable on product being sold. Excellent delivery and setup. Highly recommend this as your Sears store. Thanks Jim for going over and beyond to make this happen!

In the beginning of June, Jim sent my Kenmore dehumidifier out for repair. When it was returned it was dirty, scratched and had the wrong bucket in it. I refused to accept it! Jim called Sears customer service only to be told I would only (?) have to pay half the repair cost and Jim would lose out on the other half...I dont think so!! I made over ten phone calls to customer service and was directed to several dept. and told they would investigate my case -- never heard back from anyone. One dept. tried to tell me Jim was responsible for damage and he would have to replace the dehumidifier but there was NO damage to the shipping box and how does that explain the wrong bucket. Now its the end of August and Im more than a little frustrated! A few days ago Jlm called with good news, he explained the situation to his district manager and they agreed to replace my dehumidifier with a new one!Thank you soooo much, Jim!!!Hometown Sears....good. :) Where ever Sears repair dept is....bad :(

I went to buy bags for my Sears canister vacuum cleaner. They discontinued that product without providing a replacement. Now I have a great sweeper; but, no bags. It is no wonder they are closing storms.

Needed a new riding lawn mower, but still had a bagger from my oldmower. the owner, jim took the time to look up what mower wouldwork with my old bagger. well i ordered that mower, he was veryhelpfull at all times. very satisfied with the whole process.

I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS LOCALLY OWNED HOMETOWN SEARS STORE, especially to everyone who misses the Sears store that closed in Sandusky. On a trip to Norwalk today, we stopped to purchase a small tool my husband liked that had a light which was no longer working - owner immediately said Its a Craftsman, so guaranteed for life and gave my husband a free replacement! While there, I saw a patio set on sale and decided to purchase - the owner Jim and his wife delivered to our home in Sandusky on the very same day! I was impressed they had so many appliances, lawn equipment and tools and can order whatever else needed - worth the short drive to Norwalk for friendly service.

The red headed woman that works there acts like you are troubling her, everytime you talk to her. Never smiles, no small talk, doesnt even say thank you. Definitely the worst experience I have ever had at a Sears.

Purchased a dish washer. They came and installed it quickly leaving no mess in and out in an hour.

Wish i could give a zero star review. Thanks to this store i am officially never buying anything from sears again. Bought a washer and dryer back on the 9th, had the absoulute worst customer service experience ever complained to management at the store who litterly laughed in our faces when we complained got ahold of seara corporate about it, we were then promised a $50 gift card that we never received. Then the dryer would not work so had to call for a repair to be done. The repair man could not get it fixed that day so I was told he would be back between 1-5pm today at 5:15 when we still had not received a phone call saying he was on his way I called corporate office just to be told the part that is needed is on back order and they wont be out untill may 18th to fix it. So myself and my fiancee just wasted a entire beautiful day stuck at the house because sears is to damn lazy to pick up a phone and let us know they will not be coming out today so needless to say I will never be spending another penny at sears

Rude customer service. I had a problem with an item and called the manufacturing company., the company said it was under warranty that I should return to the store for an exchange. Sears Hometown in Norwalk would not honor the warranty or do an exchange. DO NOT GO TO THIS STORE..THEY WILL NOT STAND BEHIND THE PRODUCTS THEY SELL !!!
