Hocon gas was out of $20 5lb exchanges and i decided to fill one of my tanks here since i came all this way for $31. So in addition to the price being more than 50% higher than the guys around the block (and you can do a refill for closer to $15 if you drive north and east a bit) they DONT TAPE THE TANKS. It of course opened in my trunk and I am sure I lost close to 1/2 of it. When i mentioned to the women at the front that they were 20 at Hocon she said how do they do that? This place is for commercial distribution. There retail service is priced accordingly. Go to Hocon; updated to your response 10-8: you can play the small business card if you want: but at least start taping your bottles post filling them!

Went to get my 5# co2 tank refilled, which turned out to be outdated on the certification. They quoted me $80 for recertification and 30 bucks for the co2. Highway robbery...The worst part of this experience wasnt even the price. It was the fact that the woman at the front desk dropped my co2 tank from 4 ft off the ground, landing on my $135 regulator. Now one of the knobs on my regulator turns with a lot of resistance, and I cant even test if it still works because I still dont have co2. The woman was unapologetic and unprofessional implying that it was my fault for not taking off the regulator.Once I get my tank recertified and filled, I will be contacting you for a replacment regulator if mine doesnt work.
