I think they have had my laptop computer for 4-5 weeks for a basic data back up service. I was told they needed a storage device to arrive so they could store the data. Here we are two weeks later. No one returns my calls. I just need my computer back at this point so I can go elsewhere.
They didn’t look into my case completely.
My iPhone died last night, so I was at TBI when it opened this morning. Harrison was great - super helpful. He couldnt fix my phone, but he diagnosed the problem, explained to me what had probably happened to it, and walked me through all of the options for what to do next. The answer was that I needed to buy a new phone, but Harrison took away all of my concerns about losing my data, etc. Hes great. I will totally go back.
I have an iMac and a MacBook that were both failing. I took them to the Apple store. Even though I had an appointment at the store, I waited on the line there fo an hour to then be told Apple couldnt fix them. I went to TBI.They fixed them. Both computers are now performing great. I should never have wasted my time at Apple. TBI is great.
If I could give them 0 I would. I went to get my Mac checked and it was sitting there for 5 weeks and I called a day before to tell them I was going to pick it up because I was wasting time there and they still did not check it also said it was 25th in line after 5 weeks. I went to apple and they sent it out and fixed it and also sent it to my house in less then a week. DO NOT WASTE TIME HERE, definitely go to apple.
I’ve had a few experiences with them for fixing electronics and it always goes pretty well! A bit expensive but still better than an apple store. Also I had one experience here when I had my laptop fixed and it took way too long (I’m in high school and didn’t have my laptop for a few weeks) which wasn’t great.

I had my IPhone battery needed to be replaced. First i spoke to Apple chat support. They investigated and asked me to go any apple service place to get it replaced and gave this TBI address near by my place.Also i checked price, he said, as discount is going on so i need to pay $29. I searched for TBI and called to check if they do replace battery and if they have this battery. As per assumption with voice, looked an Gentle lady picked the phone at TBI then i asked do you replace the battery, she said yes. Then i asked do you have this battery specific for my phone, she checked and confirmed. Then i asked do i come now or tomorrow. She checked and said come now if you can as our tech guy wont be available next day come quickly if you can. I said i can come in next 10-15 minutes then she said come. Then i asked how much itll cost me, she said $39. I told her that i had talk with apple support team and they said $29 then she said alright come well do it in $29. I reached there in next 10 minutes, When i went inside i saw an Gentle lady there. As it was too late to fix this so couldnt get it fixed. Also i had some misunderstanding which they corrected me. I appreciate it. Thank you and keep on doing good work.
Wouldve been great had they not sprung up a labor charge on me after not telling me that Id be charged for labor and not saying it on the form I signed. wish I could rate it lower
It is nice place. Lady who helped us was very nice. I would prefer to go here than apple store which is always way too crowded and take hra to get anyone attention..
After updating my iphone 7 plus my audio/microphone did not work, its seems as if its a known defect with the update. I dreaded going into an apple store because of busy they always are. I found TBI computers online as an authorized retailer for apple. I was given a loaner phone for one day and my replacement phone from apple came in the next day. Judy was nice & I would recommend them.
Great experience at TBI computer! Andrew revived my vintage iMac. With its new SSD it’s super fast, quiet and cool. I couldn’t be happier, it’s better than new. The service was friendly and professional and the results outstanding.
As a customer for 15 years, I have always enjoyed reliable, personable, quality service from Judy, Tom, and the entire staff at TBI Computer. I have bought desktop computers and laptops for myself and family members, and had them serviced when needed to my complete satisfaction. If you are looking for real people behind the counter who know their product, this is the place to go. I do miss the charming house on the hill location, but they have carried to their new location the friendliness I have always experienced from them.

We all know the product is a great one but when you have a problem, this is where you take it to. They care about getting you back up and running ASAP. Cant recommend them highly enough.
Brought in a completely dead mac under warranty and had it back the next day with a new power board. Pretty great experience, definitely beats trekking to an apple store and dealing with their cheery but slow and questionably competent service.

I have been using TBI for over 14 years, I have used their tech support and have purchased computers from them. I could not be happier. They are all extremely friendly, helpful and allways courteous. Its so comforting to have a neighborhood outlet to solve all the computer problems that can come up at a moments notice. Most problems are resolved while waiting, you can go back home and complete your assignment with little lost time.
I have been a loyal customer of TBI for many, many years and have always been delighted with the service. I would not go anywhere else to buy a Mac or get it repaired. The personal attention you get from owner Judy OMeara and her staff is incomparable. Its an actual real human experience, not a humanoid one (if you get my drift).

Brought in my MacBook pro that still had warranty because it was not booting up to screen was told that my screen was bad an wanted to charge 589.00 to replace when in deed it wasnt the screen it was the logicboard took it somewhere else and they tried a new screen and same problem now I went directly to a APPLE STORE to get this issue resolved....

To start, they originally provided an eta of one week for my dead macbook pro. I call one week later to discover it had not even been looked at for two reasons. One being that there was no credit card on file and two that nonwarranty repairs go to the bottom of the pile. They had not even asked for a credit card up front, even though they knew it was not under warranty. I called back after ANOTHER week, they said they didnt know and would call me back shortly. They didnt call back until the day after saying it would have to go to apple and if I wanted a backup beforehand it would be $100. Catch is, if I wanted my data restored it would be ANOTHER $100. Thanks but no thanks. Finally after three weeks of back and forth, being left in the dark I receive my laptop. Its a good thing I dont rely on it for a living.Id rather drive a half hour out of my way to the Apple store in Stamford than go through this again.
