When we moved into our mid century house, we loved the 6 old curtains left behind, hand sewn by the original owner. since they were falling apart we recently decided to replace them in the same look. we wanted to reuse the solid original track and rollers. we looked around in our area and found ‘by the yard’ fabric store with a great selection of fabrics and samples to choose from. a friendly place. linda advised us with her expertise and suggested various fabrics. we took samples home, decided, and changed our mind. we ultimately found the perfect fabric. the curtains are very well crafted, the fabric is beautiful and the price was fair/reasonable. we are totally satisfied!

Linda is very nice, professional and knowledgeable. You can ask her questions and she is willing to help and give you an idea for decoration. After hours spent (unsuccessfully) in neighboring fabric stores, I found Linda at By The Yard! She listened to my needs and spent time with me until I found a fabric that had all the properties I needed. It not only fit my budget, but it was durable and beautiful. I benefited from her years of experience and learned a lot, which will be tremendously helpful as I tackle this do it yourself upholstery project.
