Today was my first time visiting Handmade Maine.I first saw it online when looking at the town of Norway Maine as a potential stop while on vacation.I decided then to go to Norway (town by the way is worth touring) and visit the shop.I and you will not be disappointed!!! So many gift items, potential wedding gifts, everyday, practical but works of craftsmanship to use in your home.The shop is very welcoming, your eye keeps roving at all the variety, of items. You definitely will find that special something you or someone significant in your life would absolutely love. Satisfaction guaranteed !So plan a trip to Handmade Maine!Make a day of it it!There are several places to eat. I chose Nomads, delicious sandwiches.BTW, shop two owners are very customer focused! The three of us talked for awhile, both interesting people !I’m glad I stopped in! And purchased some very nice items all the way from Rhode Island.

I love this local store! Handmade soaps and creams, and the owner features many local artisans and crafters. Friendly atmosphere and so many items to choose from - highly recommended.

I just happened to park in front of Handmade Maine. The store is quaint and quirky, which is exactly what you want! As per the name, everything in the store is from Maine. I had a nice chat with the owner and picked up several hand-made soaps. Its just great that a store like this still exists.

They have an amazing selection from local artisans. From pottery to jewelry, decorative art to clothing every part of the shop has something beautiful and unique. One of the main attractions for me is the soaps, creams, and other natural products. The staff is knowledgeable and helpful. I need to go back soon.
