I have been happy with the gentlemen who work here. They have gone out of their way several times to help me with getting a computer test for my car and then talk about the results. They are never too busy and one time they gave me a cheap fix idea for what I thought was a huge project. Relaxed and courteous, they dont give you attitude if you basically have no clue whats going on with your car.

When seeing Malfunction indicator lamp on in my old Toyota Corolla, I immediately did research and knew AutoZone. This was my first time to visit AutoZone in Norwich CT. After testing my car, Jay A. helped me to change old gas cap. Resolved !!! Actually, I had checked the gas cap for several times without seeing anything. I am very happy for their excellent service ! I will visit AutoZone again and again !

It was 730pm. The manager that answered the phone told me they closed at 745pm. The sign on the door said 8pm. The Manager told me the wrong time to make sure he left on time. Not to encourage me to come in and purchase things. But to make sure I knew that my presence as a customer was inconvenient and imposing on him at his job.We went somewhere else

At the Norwich CT store - It took four times in and out, to get a 2 wire alternator for a 1987 Chevy pickup. I was put on hold for 15 minutes, gave up and hung up the phone. Called again the next day and the person on the phone made excuse after excuse why they did not answer the phone and talk to like a little child.At the Walterboro SC store - The young kid behind the counter has no clue what he is doing. Trying to explain to him what I wanted and he could not understand what I was talking about. He needs to be fired.

Yesterday I stopped by the Norwich auto zone to pick up rear breaks for my car.Before I got there I got my front breaks from the auto zone in New London . I forgot to ask the guy for my military discount.I ask the guy in Norwich if he would be able to apply it to my new london order. The first thing comes out of his mouth is its not worth it because you are only get a couple of dollars back. I told him I know and that I would like to have my discount . He preceeded to tell me its not worth it. I got my rear breaks paid for them and I ask for my discount he gave it to me on the rear breaks but when I ask him if he could apply it to the front he still gave me a hard time even though I had the receipt. So he called over a manager to do it which he did .Honestly the guy was FU####G LAZY .

On my way to school, I came to Auto Zone in Norwich CT because my car was stalling to turn over. Come to find out I needed a new battery and a new starter.. From start to end Jeffrey F. was an absolute angel in making sure my car was functioning. He exceptional at his job. Its great to see real genuine people out their. He for sure goes the extra mile. Jeff, one of the employees there, went above and beyond to help me out in a tight spot. I tried to do a little work in the parking lot and quickly created more of an issue than there originally was. He had the knowledge and care to explain to me what to do and how so I could fix my truck and get out of there.I ended up working long past store close, but he lived close and checked up on me multiple times to make sure I was alright and that I got the job done properly. My truck would still be in that parking lot if not for him. His actions went beyond great customer service, to genuine concern for a guy who was clearly in a bind.His service has made me a customer for life. I cannot recommend this branch more. If you ever have an automotive question ask Jeff, Im sure hell help you out.Thank you!

Ive had rude employees in the past and also incompetent ones where they have given the wrong parts for my car. Prices are average they seem to be a little higher than Advanced Auto Parts that is right down the street. I personally dont go to AutoZone locations anymore because of the levels of unprofessionalism.

Pretty disappointed in the lack there of care of service here. Parts I ordered were said to be in by 5pm then I arrive to pick them up as the cashier goes to look for them only for him to figure out by me telling him that they have not arrived yet. He then says usually they get here by 5:15pm. 5:30pm I go back in to the store for another cashier to tell me 5pm is just an estimate we have no idea when they will arrive. How does a company offer the notion that it will arrive by a certain time for them to all know that they cant keep that agreement. A quoted time is usually 15 minutes up or down not 30+ minutes otherwise I would have not come at the quoted time. Another competitor I went to order a different part quoted me 2pm. It arrived by 2pm,so whats the deal with the lack their of customer service at this location? I would have much rather been told it is going to come when the delivery guy feels like getting here than a severely incorrect time. Now 5:42 what seems to be the delivery driver arrives. I go inside and one cashier makes the comment you better have this tie rod otherwise this guy is going to go postal. I have been a customer for 10 years and this is a shame to allow employees to make the autozone brand look so hollow.

Bought a new dipstick tube from auto zone, all they had was a Dorman brand. I put it in the engine. I should not be surprised that the oem dipstick will not go in more than half way, no matter what I do. Of course its made in China for Dorman parts. Garbage.

The young man who assisted me went above and beyond. I stopped by to get some brake lights because someone waved me down while I was driving that I had no lights whatsoever when braking... So this gentleman... Instead of just picking out the right lights for me, took the time to check my fuses to make sure it wasnt a fuse issue since both lights were blown. The ONLY reason I give it 4/5 stars is because he wanted to install the lights for me as well but management doesnt allow it due to liabilities... Which I understand... But Id give em 5 stars if they installed em anyway

Writing this review while Ive been standing in line for the last 10 minutes with no one else, hearing employees in the background and no one coming out...and when I finally do get my turn attention isnt paid to me but to people shopping yelling over me to talk to them, then hands me off to someone with even less personality and less knowledge. Wouldnt you want people who know about cars to work at a parts store. I dont want to explain what a part is or does to my parts store...if I ever come back here it will only be to deal with Fernando, who actually does his job and knows what hes talking about...you lost me autozone, your prices wouldve eventually anyway.

Auto zone always has great courteous service always willing to help you to diagnose any problems you have with your vehicle. Although they do not always have everything you need such a spark plugs it took 2 days to get all 6 spark plugs that I needed a little disappointed.

Horrible customer service, every time I go there’s always one person behind the register helping someone else on the phone, the phone are ringing. They don’t even say I’ll be with you in one moment. You can hear someone in the back they never come out, not even to get the phone . When they do come out they don’t help right away mean while I’ve already been waiting for help for 5 minutes for help.

I have never felt so angry at a store in my life....Horrible service I will never go to this store again I was at this store today in line for about 15 minutes and both of the guys behind the counter were on the phone I had 1 person in front of me and 4 people behind me. The manager hung the phone up and instead of taking one of the paying customers in his store he made the dumb decision of picking up the phone and attending to another person on the phone that was not spending money. He should be fired for letting 2 customers walk out and go down the street to Advance Auto Between the other two customers and my self we spent a total of $569.00 at Advance Auto that this dummy let walk out the door I will never visit this store again.

My husband needed a few parts for brakes on our Mazda, and after asking autozone and discovering they didnt have it in stock that day, he decided to call around a few other local places. (5/19/19). After finding that no one else had what we needed, he then called back to autozone and was greeted with oh, calling back again are we?. So that was cute. Im not sure how my husband held his tongue but he went ahead and ordered what we needed and was told the parts would be in by Tuesday (5/21/19).So Tuesday comes along and after getting out of work at 3pm he went over to pick up the parts. When he came in 3 employees were in the back, perhaps in a little huddle, and after 5 minutes standing up there he was finally greeted. He stated the last name, and the employee went back to get what we ordered.Some time goes by, and another employee comes up and asks if he needed help, and of course he said no he was being helped already but thanksAnother 5 minutes goes by and yet another employee asks if he needs help. Same response, he is waiting on parts and someone if helping him.After 15 minutes, yet ANOTHER employee asks if he is being helped, this is where he said maybe you could go help the employee finding my part? He has been gone awhile. So then, this sad excuse for what I assume you call a manager comes out and tells my husband that the parts were canceled on SATURDAY NIGHT. No one called us, no one refunded our card. No one even APOLOGIZED. As this women is stuttering some excuse on how the venders they use really suck not ONCE did she apologize to him.So, autozone has no issue taking our money but cant give us a courtesy call when their vendors cancel an order.We then had to scramble and call a dealership and spend an extra $200 to get what we needed, cause our time and money was wasted over somone not caring enough to give us a simple phone call.I hate that I have to say this line, but I work in retail. I get it. Things happen. But the sole reason I am writing this review is that the manager had an attitude with my husband and didnt even apologize for what happened.Teach your team to do better. Because I know I will never recommend autozone again. And I rather pay extra at either a dealership or a mom and pop store and get treated with respect and courtesy than deal with this experience ever again.

Well i got there this morning only one person in the line on clerk..I can hear the others in the back ground and no one came to help...was there for over 5 mins before a guy walk out n did not acknowledge my presence...then walk back n said some one will be with you shortly...came so close to leave the items i was buying on the counter...any how I bought them.n asked for a funnel and he said they dont have one...REALLY...every autozone always has funnels for the customers..honestly no customer service at all.....I WILL NEVER STOP AT THIS LOCATION.
