Di and the team at the pharmacy were so awesome and helpful with getting me the prescription I needed while visiting town. They were very helpful in getting the emergency refill override from my insurance, finding the lowest possible price, and making sure I had the medicine before it became an emergency room visit. I am prescribed the same medication every single month, on the same day of the month. Dr called in my medication on Tuesday to be picked up on Friday.When calling to see why I hadnt received a text message saying that my meds were ready, I was informed that they were on back order and that they didnt even think that they would be in the over the whole next week.A phone call during the day when I could have called my doctor, and had them sent somewhere else would have been a lot more convenient, something called customer service. So that will make 3 days without my medication and I am not supposed to miss one dose, and no it cant be transferred. End rant

Waited 25 mins behind ONE CAR, no apology, was told be with u in a min. I was not nice or happy. Instead of apologizing sincerely n diffusing the situation I was told they weren’t gonna help me if I was disrespectful. Absolutely ridiculous. If someone needs that much time, they should be asked to go in. It’s not right at all. I just had a regular prescription, that took one minute to pick up. They should have apologized profusely, n said they understand, that shouldn’t happen, whatever they need to say. Instead of ma’am, ma’am, I’m not gonna help u if ur disrespectful,, seriously

I forgot a few travel items that make life just a little bit better. Deodorant, face wash, face lotion, etc. Walgreens had it all and didnt break the bank. I got the travel size version and Ill probably toss them before I leave. Clean store and friendly staff.

I have been to the drive thru a total of 6 times and 4 out of 6 times, I’ve waited in a standstill line for 15-20 minutes. If a customer has an issue that requires time to solve, they should ask them to park and walk in. Once or twice I would understand, but this happens almost every time.

This is the worst pharmacy out of all the Walgreens Ive ever been to. Dont waste your time trying to fill your prescriptions here. I recommend going across the street to CVS instead. My wife had a prescription for nausea medication when she was pregnant that they would not fill because they said they could not read the script. Which was totally legible by the way. Anyway, they said they would have to call the Dr and would contact us within the hour. Three hours later they still hadnt contacted us and I went there and they told me they didnt get a chance to call the Dr yet. So I took the script back and went across the street to CVS. Ten minutes later I walked out with my wifes medicine. This pharmacy is ridiculous and incompetent.

Every single time I fill for my elderly stroke patient, this Walgreens messes up something. They either forget to fax one of her prescriptions, fill the wrong medications, fill medications we dont even need, and have even been confused about generic versus brand name, thinking they didnt fill something they did because they didnt know the generic name. This makes care-giving a nightmare. Ive had prescriptions waiting for a week with Walgreens excuses of were waiting for doctors approval but when I call the doctors office they tell me Walgreens never sent it over and over and over again.My patient is high risk for stroke or heart attack by missing her meds at all, has over 20 of them per month, and this is what this Walgreens will put you through to keep someone alive. Pathetic.

This place is pretty convenient. Its got some pretty good deals every now and then. The staff here have been nice, helpful and friendly to me. I tend to come here whenever the CVS across the street from it is too crowded or doesnt have what I want.

Pharmacy Busy all the time, Whether it’s inside or ( supposedly drive thru) is suppose to be quicker, says who? The Pharmacy is making the whole store miserable, Pharmacist aren’t available, Staff back there are immature And never know anything, Breanna is probably the only one who actually takes her time to explain, But She is only one person, So heads up, Go to Stop & Shop, Not 24 hours But, Your treated more like a guest and not a order number, So sad!

Absolutely terrible. Had surgery on my hand 1 day ago. Dr puts in a script for pain pills. Go to get it filled after surgery. Lady tells me it’s gonna be fifteen mins, 45 mins later a guy says are you waiting on something. Tells me it’s not in and comes in tomorrow on a truck at 12 in the afternoon. Says call at 1 to check. Call today and finally get a hold of someone then they hang up on me. I physically go to Walgreens and tell them I just had surgery and what’s the deal. They take my number and tell them to call me when it’s in. Walgreens calls me 15 mins later and no one answers. I just assume it’s in. Go there and of course not in. Ten minutes later down the road they call and tell me it won’t be in and need to get another script and call my doc. It’s New Year’s Eve. Thanks for absolutely nothing. Garbage mouth breathers

The pharmacy is terrible. They are rude and don’t know what they are doing. I switched from cvs to walgreens 5 weeks ago because I switched doctors and every single time my doctor sent in my prescriptions there’s been an issue. My doctor sends a link to my phone showing that he sent them to Walgreens but the pharmacist at Walgreens says they never received it. I’ve been waiting over an hour today just to get my medicine. Last week it was 5 hours. I recommend going elsewhere if you can. Save yourself the hassle and frustration. They deserve 0 stars. Never had an issue with CVS!!!

Walgreens used to be great! I’ve been with them for 12 years but I’m switching pharmacies because every week I have an issue getting my meds...today I’ve been waiting for them to just fill my script for about 10 hours now twice I’ve called and been told it would be ready in an hour that was 8 hours ago...this medicine needs to be take. On time and I get sick without it. I’ve had it next prescription i will go to cvs. So sad. What happened Walgreens?

Very rude lady. I called the pharmacy back to confirm authorization while my boyfriend was there to pick up my script after I missed the call and the pharmacist was VERY RUDE. She sounded very annoyed and responded “fine” and hung up. Cannot believe the rudeness!

I love the employees, theyre always extremely helpful, but very often it takes a long time for prescriptions to be filled, and the wait time on the phone can be lengthy. Worth it, though, for the excellent customer service

The store itself is fine, the pharmacy is the problem. The pharmacy was never very good, just convenient for me, but lately they have been getting progressively worse. In the last few months they have stopped updating prescriptions statuses with anything meaningful. For 2 months straight they have not had enough of a medication I have filled there almost every month for the last 2 or 3 years and Ive had to wait on a delivery. This month they randomly decided one of my prescriptions (with 4 refills left) was unfillable and I had to have my doctors office fix the issue. Lastly, if you ever have to call the pharmacy, expect to wait on hold for at least 15 minutes before talking to anyone. I would highly recommend filling your prescriptions elsewhere.

Absolutely horrible I was supposed to get two medications that were for after a tonsillectomy and it said one was delayed due to insurance issues and now it’s gone and I’ve been on hold with them for 20 minutes now. I’m in severe pain this is the second time in two weeks they’ve done this.

After being a 15 year loyal customer I changed my mind on that today I was there sept 1st yesterday bought myself a bag of Reeses peanut butter cups I brought my friend back today who needed to go there It was then I noticed I didnt have my candy I bought I asked to speak to the manager he asked me to go find my receipt so I went home across town found my receipt brought it back to show him I did purchase the candy He asked me to wait while he proceeded to wait on a customer who had a full basket while waiting she also had a receipt a month old which he credited her When he finally waited on me with a fresh looking smerk on his face he told me theres nothing he can do I never saw him before so I asked him who HIS boss is He told me he wont be in until Monday I dont know what was so funny about this but he needs some training on how to deal with the public Its not about the candy or the money 15 years is a long time to patronize a company with such nice people & then to be treated so poorly He wasted most of my day so thanks for letting me tell you about my experience today

They have all always been helpful, pleasant and patient. Store is always clean and they have some good sales. Regular prices are often cheaper than CVS s. Will always choose Walgreens now over CVS.

NO STARS AT ALL! The WORST phamarcist ever! Waited by the drive thru for 15mins (mind you Ive rang the bell 3x) then walked in, few people kept walking by DID NOT APPROACH ME until I pretty much had to speak up for them to even listen to me, and come to find out DID NOT have my prescription ready or have it at all, although they had told me they had it ready, such awful service!! Please save your time and go somewhere else, cause this place is not worth it what so ever!

This is the absolute worst Walgreens that I have ever been a customer at in my 55 years of living, and I have had many consecutive years working with Walgreens up and down the east coast ! The manager on duty the night January 23 was rude, as they usually are, especially the women, I guess they feel empowered not employeed, and getting a prescription filled at this Walgreens is like an adventure, from the beginning of the process to the end ! The head pharmacist and many of the senior employees are great, but the feeling you get from this pharmacy is that they are doing you a favor by helping you, and really it is not surprising, the parent store, Walgreens knows they are the 3rd busiest store in Connecticut and doesnt mind letting the public spend 20 min. on the phone or in long lines, and then there is the pharmacy employees that just should be fired, but hey, this is Norwich Connecticut, who cares right ! You know that it is easier to go to the new Walgreens in Jewett City, then it is to go to the one near my house on Main St. Norwich ! Good job Walgreens, you make deals with insurance carriers and pharmaceutical companies like Humana so people have to buy there prescriptions at Walgreens and Walgreens only ! When i was young they had a word fir that.........

Made an account solely to complain. It doesn’t matter how much time you give this pharmacy to refill your prescription it will NOT be ready when you go to pick it up. Horribly slow pharmacy. No ones rude, but expect to wait every time you come to pick something up.

Where to start? The pharmacy is absolutely horrible. Thete is a problem everytime I go there. Ill get a call from the automated system telling me its ready for pick up but when I get there its not ready after over an hour. Sitting and waiting is no better who knows what they are saying when they call a name you cant never understand them. Not to mention they have racist tendencies. Im white and my husband is black. When I go I always get Ill be right with you when he goes nothing they act like hes not even standing there. Ive made numerous complaints to the manager and it doesnt seem to matter. And lets not talk about how have the ppl behind the counter look like they are on something . Ill be trying to find another pharmacy

It is just plain discrimination when a Black man provide his ID but refused service because Walgreens corporate has put in place rules that only apply for blacks people. Using this pharmacy for over 20 something years, I am still dealing with this nonsense. I will sue the company for discrimination. Why the Blavk man has to be up to no good, this is how corporate set it up . The black man comes he has to be scrutinized, meanwhile I am suffering. This is intentional and I have to do something about it. Enough of this discrimination, see past my skin.

I only patronize this location out of desperation, as it is the closest to me. I have not yet had a good experience. The staff is rude, the pharmacy is understaffed and ridiculously slow. Currently waiting after dropping a Rx for post surgical pain and antibiotic medication 3.5 hours ago.The worst Walgreens Period.The girl at the drive thru was nice

My 2 year old was in the ER tonight for 4 hours got diagnosed with bronchitis with early stages of pneumonia... we finally get to the pharmacy at 935pm and the blonde heavy set lady asked me when I wanted to pick up (as she is texting on her phone) I responded As soon as possible... she took a deep breath as if that would be a problem for her and she said “well it’s going to take at least 35-45mins” and I said I guess That will do... I drove Home and had my husband pick up on his way home from work, he got there at 1030 and she told me she never put in the computer that he would have to wait another 20mins!!! Are u people serious?! This is disgusting! A toddler ia home unable to breath with a cough that a grown person wouldn’t be able to deal with and she never put in the prescription?! DISCRACE! Never again will I use Ur pharmacy!

They said they had my daughters prescription in liquid and didnt. Gave my wife 30 pills when she had a prescription for 90. and took a week to get my wifes pills in that she needed ASAP. to top that all off her doctor says they are lazy and I figure hed know

This is the second time Ive had a price descipency. The last time I waited at the counter for the manager to check. She switched the sign and told me I was wrong. Today a bounch of drinks were clearly marked a certain price. Again this manager was called to check. I followed her. I saw her switch the labels around. Than she said these are what is for sale not what you have. I said the labels you just slid over was what was by my drink. She said she didnt switch the labels she just moved some drinks. I know what I saw. I was in a rush and wasnt gonna make a scene for two dollars but that is pretty grimey. I have since switched my pharmacy and will not return here again. Btw they also suck at refilling perscriptions and the wait is ridiculous.

The pharmacy is very poor. They take forever to fill your prescription and dont bother calling as they never pickup. The drive through is even worse. The rest of the store is OK but with a CVS across the street, why bother.
