If i can smell your seafood dpt. Outside in the parking lot. I think you should think about cleaning your store. Not sure what the owners do with all that profit. But your store needs to be redone. Good luck if your doing a delivery to home order. They mess up every single time. When i call to let them know half my food is missing. Manager always has an attitude. Maybe thats why this time they didnt include my paper that always comes with order. They knew they were wrong. Did nothing about it. Gives me expired food. They triple items on your order so they make up for the credit for out of stock items and they think customers arent going to realize what there doing. Thats okay Stop & shop and Big Y will get my business now.. Thanks

Simply the best selection, meat, and produce of the grocery stores Ive been to. If Im looking for something unusual, Ive been able to find it here. There are usually lines for checkout, but it goes reasonably quick. I dont like their self checkout, though. I think the bagging area scales are too sensitive.

I rarely shop at the Shop Rite in New London. I will usually drive 20 minutes and go to this one!You can buy fresher fruits and veggies. I also prefer the meats, deli department and fish from here. Its all around the best Shop Rite in the area!!

Out of a lot of food lately, and the fruit is moldy. Meats are good, expensive, but good.

I understand its a very hard world to be working in right now considering the aftermath of the pandemic. Many of the older cashier women had very poor attitudes. Rules following masks are different at every location. I can understand a polite please wear this mask as your vaccine card is invalid here, I apologize but instead this woman interrupted her customer and threw her hand out with a mask very rudely then proceeded to order customers around. The next cashier named Jennifer I dealt with slammed our groceries into each bag. The worst customer service Ive ever dealt with. These ladies are miserable and clearly want nothing to do with working here.

Need to adjust air conditioning by the checkouts. Was very warm. Felt bad for the cashiers. It was hot and wearing masks. Dont know how they do it?

Horrible store. The family that owns this should be disgusted at the way the personnel here treat customers. Went into to return a bottle slip and purchase a lottery ticket stood there for 5 minutes ignored at an empty counter, a disshelved looking worker rushes by telling me theyre on break I dont know when theyll be back come back some other time. Upon leaving the store was told by a front end supervisor that theres a sign there. there wasnt. This place should close the way they treat people.

It was a very fun day! Pizza place wasnt open, super long line for food and ice cream. Dont know if I would pay the normal price of $23.99 but for a discount with a donation of an item we only paid $10/pp to get in. Definitely worth it.

Great experience as always. The staff always works hard. I was cashing out & a lady was yelling about the store not having any diet ginger ale left. She was very mean to the employees and they kept there cool and was very professional and told her they didnt have any left but the workers on duty was looking with the lady.

Good prices! Friendly workers! I bought a comforter set there in the self checkout and accidentally left it there. The next day I realized I had leftit there. I thought it was in the car all that time. So I called Shop Rite and asked a wonderful lady if it was she put me on hold for a few minutes and asked what color I answered her and yes it was there. Oh I was so happy! It cost $33+. She couldve kept it for herself but she was honest and I am forever grateful! Thank you Pat!

The worst grocery store Ive ever been in. Everything is expensive. Cant get store card without all kinds of hassle. No discounts or sales. They charge for bags on EBT even though there not supposed to. Recyclable at that. Sticky everywhere I walked. Cashiers are rude. Im discusted. Will never shop at any shop rite again.

The best thing I like about ShopRite is the prices and deals. Same thing at another store is pricer. Come into fruits veggies and its a good selection. Come around to the bakery and deli. Always find a treat there. Many isles to look at. From baby stuff to food. Frozen and Cold items at back of store. They have a huge section now in front to scan and bag your own groceries. I always feel bad doing it though because it takes away from jobs but... Alot of positives like faster and more convenient and to a parent that is key. No one else touches your food but you.. They have a sign out front that wants to limit how many people you bring it but doesnt look like thats inforced or followed. All around decent place to shop.

I havent Bern in the store to shop since they ntroduced Pick Up and Delivery . Every Employee from manager to van delivery drivers have been customer centered, polite, helpful, and friendly. Today the manager,? Was getting slammed and looked like she wax A-line for a bit. She kept smiling. Being friendly, even though she was probably stressed to the Max. Then I saw one of the sDelivery drivers jump in to help load cars. Great Teamwork!

Their deals are far and few between and now we are finally getting store coupons again which would be great if it didnt expire in on May 1st. Not a happy customer 😒

I prefer the New London location which seems cleaner and better organized, but still great prices and I found everything I needed quickly.

Today for the first time my wife and I tried the Shoprite shop from home app. The experience and the service was outstanding. The prices were good and the order was ready and on time. There was no main in store contact and I was even sent a text when my order was ready.The staff was very helpful and kind. Thank you ShopRite team for such a wonderful Saturday morning shopping experience.

I like ShopRite for its decently priced and diverse produce. I can get Serrano chiles here, sometimes Anaheim chiles (Hatch) the larger tortillas and they have a mid range selection of decent cheeses. The meat dept, depending on who is in, knows the cuts that arent standard to New England. They have Flanken cut beef ribs, whole beef ribs (small) and beef short ribs. Depending on who is back there they know what a tri-tip is and a couple of times Ive asked that they can me before they slice it so I can use as a roast.The last couple of times Ive gone in Ive got puzzled stares when asking for tri-tip, so its hit or miss. Decent prices, ok selection of international, better than most chains in area.

Masks again, vaccine or not. im over it. amazon delivers!

Very disappointing! I havent been here in years and was looking forward to the can can sale. I understand were in a pandemic But that Doesnt mean be disrespectful to a customer who was Only looking for Help! Who Waited behind an employee because I was Ignored. NO SIGN INDICATING CUSTOMER SERVICE WAS CLOSED OR where to find help. Time for New management. Very sad, this store specific, has gone downhill as much as it has. It was extremely crowded also. I bought some raspberry preserves here by the shoprite bowl and basket brand and it was full of mold when i opened it on the same day i bought it.

I order from them often. I dont receive a lot of my order everytime. I think the shoppers just dont know where the things are that im.ordering so they say they dont have them. The most important stuff i order Never gets delivered. When I order from another store. This never happens. Im done ordering through shoprite of norwich ct. And I tip the drivers well everytime. Then I go through my bags and theres so much missing. I then go to the store and find the stuff myself. So they lie and say they are out of the stuff when they are not They really just dont know what they are doing. Never shopping here again. I gave them many chances to fix it

This location does not honor their coupons! I recieved a flyer in the mail with several coupons for $20 home delivery. Every coupon listed in big letters Save $20 on your NEXT delivery! with a purchase window date. I never order online, but I figured $20 off is $20 off, and with the virus going on maybe it would be safer to not go at all and save a few bucks. I made sure to order on the date of the coupon. There were no instructions online to redeem it, or a code, so I put a note on delivery instructions that I would pay at time of delivery AND redeem the coupon.Lo and behold, when my groceries were delivered, they did not accept it. I recieved several different excuses from both the delivery guy and the Shop @ Home manager, Nicole. I was first told that it must be because its my first order, and the delivery guy admitted to me that the coupons were missing the code. I ended up paying for groceries, some of which were missing because they were out of stock.I then called the VERY rude manager who told me that its because I didnt order on the right day (which I did, the date was right on the coupon), then I was told its for my NEXT shoprite order, not this one. Basically, every excuse was thrown at me to not accept a valid coupon. Youll actually argue semantics with me over the word next? Why not put that little detail on your flyer that you have to order once first, and THEN the coupon will apply to a future order? Dont worry, there will be no more orders from me. Just leaving a nice review in here for others to know how crooked and cheap you guys are!Edit: Also, with my $20 savings I had planned to leave your delivery driver a nice tip, as that was what I had budgeted for. Because you didnt honor it, hes out the tip. You are hurting your employees and dont value your customers. Boo.

Shop from home 🏡 is an excellent service and the staff is beyond helpful and professional.

The store could use a bit of a physical reorganization of goods, and physical updating of the building (some is occurring at the front end). I recognize that some stores are able to lower prices because they do not focus on the physical goods, building, and layout.But... needing/benefiting from cost savings, shouldnt mean the store I shop at, is less visually/physically appealing (see Price Chopper in Stores/Mansfield).

It was a very good shopping experience to employees or a wonderful especially the ones in the meat department they are very good about their products and they even left their own department to help me find some things that I needed kudos to them guys

If you are visiting out of state and you are wondering why you are being charged double for water...the recycling deposit charge is why. If you plan to drink all of the water while you are in CT..no worries, you will get your $ back, I think? I did not get to turn it in for the money...other than that..Great Supermarket!...

Been doing pickup orders since the pandemic and always was impressed with produce and substitutions picked, however it’s really been going downhill lately in produce selection, forgetting to give me items I paid for, long wait times, and substitutions that don’t make sense. Probably will switch to a different stores pickup.

Be careful with the item pricing. I shop over there last time and found the price didnt match with cashier machine, the real price was much higher than the price tag for that item, so I asked the old lady at the customer service. This jerk gave me the worse attitude and explain it in a very unprofessional and rude manner. I was thinking how do they run a business like this while they hire some as*hole in the customer service department with such horrible service? Will I ask for a refund? no, I would never step foot in the place again, thats what I would do.

Thats my favorite place to shop. They carry everything our family needs and the staff is wonderful and kind. I worked there for a short time recently and really enjoyed it but I have to babysit my grandson fulltime again so, sadly, I had to quit. Were really blessed to have our Shoprite.

Waiting for steamed lobsters and the kid in the seafood depot. pulled a good ole boy move gave 3 guys their packs of lobsters before I got mine. Told him I had been there first with my order and he grabbed mine from the side and finally gave them to me... I usually dont complain but that was ridiculous. He packed mine and put them on the side....

Did home shopping. Everything went smoothly & efficiently.

The pharmacists Michele and Sara are super to work with. I ran into some problems with my insurance and couldn’t get my husbands meds and Michele was such a tremendous help for us in getting everything straightened out. She was so pleasant and understanding, it really left an impression because our previous pharmacy was the complete opposite!

Ridiculous lines in this place yesterday. The setup for register wait line is silly. Theres no space for 6 feet of social distancing between people. I was not impressed with the space they set up

Miserable delivery experience, bad customer service, and no integrity when it comes to management. Dont bother. Lost my business altogether.Delivery driver was the only decent part of the experience, but even he couldnt fix the issue caused by misleading advertisement. The talk with the manager was really what made this all go downhill.

The food pick up associate was very pleasant and was helpful and resolving a small issue we had which turned out to be our bad being that it was the first time we used their pickup service, now that I have the experience I will be using that service more often.

The prices are great. The meat selections have the best prices. Veggies quality is a hit of miss but that is what you get for what you pay. But the store is clean, well stocked, helpful employees. They do have a pharmacy . Plenty of parking. No parking carts area though :/.

The Norwich store will not let you get a flyer with coupons at courtesy booth. The girls that work at courtesy booth are just plain rude and nasty.Went shopping at the Putnam Plaza today and they have flyers with coupons available and will give you the following weeks also. The Silver Lane store will give you flyers too!Hey Norwich....you have definitely lost my business along with all the girls I work with.

Meat department has some good deals but the seafood leaves needs improvement. Tried to grab some steamers and the order punched me in the face so hard I almost vomited. Handed them right back. If shellfish is dead dont try and sell it.
