Astonishingly knowledgeable of the location of things in the store, and they have just about everything!

Besides the fact that everyone is so friendly and personable, the service I received exceeded my expectations. i dropped off a ripped screen this morning at 8am and i just received a phone call that it was ready. it took less than an hour.. most places make you wait weeks for screen repair.. thank you Jimmy! well appreciated.

I hear they’re very helpful, but I wouldn’t know because they closed 2 minutes before 5. Don’t they know that the guy showing up right before closing is often the one most in need?And Google says they’re open till 5:30. Off to Home Depot...

Service has been poor lately, they regularly don’t have what your looking for so I generally call before heading here. This time I called to ask if they carry quickrete and the associate said yes. When I arrived 10 minutes later they didn’t have it, the. All 4 associates stood around arguing who I had spoken to. I hate using the big names but I will use Home Depot from now on

Customer service is the name of the game and theyve got it down. No more wandering around aimlessly trying to find something. Shop local, shop small.

Heather went above and beyond helping me locate a roof sealant I needed. This stuff was about as difficult to find as powdered extract of Unicorn horn. She called around and arranged to have it delivered to the store. Two days later I had the product in hand. Professional, effective - really remarkable customer service.

Good selection. Good to have a downtown hardware store again. Youve got to find a spot and parallel park along Washington Street (Main St) but I got decent spaces each time. Very nice and helpful in there. The manager, Heather, seems to do and know it all, but ahe is fun and easy to deal with. She said shed call me when my screen door was ready and she didnt and I sweat an extra day, so one demerit.

Imagine a hardware store where the employees know the answers to all your questions and where to find what you need. Before Home Depot & Lowes all hardware stores were like this, now very few are. However, at my new neighbors, Norwood True Value hardware theyve got everything you need at prices just as competitive as the big box store. And, they have services the others dont such as: knife & mower blade sharpening and screen window/door repairs to name just a few. PLUS, unlike most of the stores in the downtown theyve got a rear entrance and their own dedicated parking. Youre gonna like the owner and all his helpful employees as much as I do.

Excellent help with very helpful atttudes. Extremely knowledgeable of products stocked and their location in the store. Will always lead you to the item you are looking for. A great and very much needed addition to Norwood.

We cant say enough great things about having this store downtown! As a small business owner, having True Value next door as been a life saver! We do all of our hardware shopping here because the service is amazing and the convenient location cannot be beat!

As a local resident, I went in this week to buy some cheap mouse traps. That was it. The Assistant Manager then approached me and went on and on about these much more expensive plugin’s that are supposed to emit a sound to get rid of mice. After three attempts and after telling me that it had worked for everyone he sold this product to, I relented and bought it. Not only did this product fail miserably, I ended up killing 5 mice in 5 days within 1foot of one of the so called “sound emitting” plugins. So I repacked the product into the difficult packaging it came in and went to return it. The very same Assistant Manager that talked me into buying the product then refused to provide me a refund because there was a small piece of cardboard missing from the top of the packaging. While acknowledging that he did talk me into buying the product, he actually became very belligerent when I told him I wanted to speak to the actual Manager of the Store and made a few disparaging comments to me as I went to buy more traditional traps at the store. At this point, the money I spent isn’t even important, but the sales tactics and the utter lack of customer service at this store will prevent me from returning. I like to support small local businesses, but I guess it’s back to Home Depot. I hope it was worth it to them as I was a fairly frequent customer.

T.J & Heather were EXCEPTIONAL. For two days Heather worked with me to make cabinet locks for me.Her patience was angelic.
